- #stitch @rxchelleyu 🤨 Honestly, I was super excited to try this viral Tirtir cushion foundation because the coverage and finish looked stunning but I don’t get the hype? When the foundation makes your skin look like a reptile… absolutely not 🙅🏻♀️

It’s your prep and application technique. Exfoliate? Those patches… try a skin softening serum? And double cleanse. Also go in with a light hand. If you pumped a whole bunch of any foundation like the way you did here, would be patchy af too.
I love how realistic this review is! 🥲
Try using a beauty sponge, like a beauty blender. It softens the coverage without making it look flakey on the skin.
Could you PLEASE recommend a good foundation you’ve been using? I have the same type of skin/tone as you!
I had the exact same issues with this specific cushion foundation! But I heard SO many good reviews about it that I assumed I was just doing something wrong~I really wonder why it looks scaly on us 🧐⚖ I much prefer their Glow Cream cushion, although it's exceptionally dewy
It got cakey because you applied too much a little goes along way. When pressing the puff into the sponge try a light hand then tap the cap to remove excess Cushion to apply less amount of Foundation because less is more and even a little amount gives a buildable coverage. I hope this helps.
all the other tirtir cushions work for me, but the red one was so orange on me i got 23 sand. Will try it again and order a lighter shade and see how it works for me.
Less is more. You need to use a light hand. I like to use a densely packed brush and build up the coverage. It’s actually quite flattering on the skin.
I tried this foundation once so far, on skin that was not prepped at all. Like the same moisturizer from the night before, I hadn't washed my face yet. And it came out nice, I think using too much at once is the mistake here. When I use it for real, I think I'm going to skip primer. Also, I found my color a little too light at first and as the day wore on, it oxidized to a shade I thought was just right.
I think this cushion foundation is alot more concentrated than other brands I tried. You need to gently tap the sponge into the foundation to pickup barely any (don't press into the cushion), and you will see a little bit will do the job without getting cakey or heavy. One problem with this cushion is that it oxidize too much. So eventhough I normally wear 23W, I went with 21W because it turns dark overtime. It does wear better than other ones but the application and shade match is tricky.
Too much exfoliation, skin treatment like tretinoid or skiin peeling which is you’re not allow to wewr mk u. Only calming cream n sunblock.
Try change the shape of your eyebrows a bit. Especially the arch.
Your skin is the mess here not the foundation
Why advertise the cushion for acne prone skin then ?
LOL you call this a review but you didnt even used it the right way. packed too much and did not even take the time to blend it just to call it a no... sabotage? 🫢🫢🫢🙄
