    My younger brother died two months ago. Every time I think of him, which is all the time, my tummy lurches, my heart plunges, my throat constricts and my head pounds. I feel broken. This video is telling me that I need to do something.

      @@sharmilakalain7549 All prayers are good. I'd suggest finding something that has meaning for us to connect to the person who has passed. If they were spiritual it can also be their practice included in our own. And dedicate 40 days of prayer/meditation to honour and thank the person, then include them in our sadhana. Again, the first year can be quite hard, but prayer helps to soothe. Blessings for you and your family.

    I had a Loooong message typed up- but essentially- THIS CHAKRA- 3.5 - is BLOCKED- I just FEEL IT- after watching you- I do sooo much chakra and kundalini and inner healing- and I FEEL THE EFFECTS OF IT- 💯 But it’s just NEVER LASTING- I WAKE UP IN PAIN!!!! How can we work on our 3.5 chakra?? Best!?!?

    • @Ardaas_Singh
      @Ardaas_Singh  Рік тому +3

      Sat Naam,
      Thank you for your message, Ashley. It's good that you feel it, awareness of it is the first step to changing something. Many people are unaware of having any blockage there. We may lose a loved one and do our grieving process, think that we completed that stage in our life. 10 years later something happens and the knot opens up and we're back in the middle of it. Some knots take a long time and much self-care to release. Being so connected to our emotional maturity is something we must all face in one point or another of our life.
      About what to do, it's hard to express in a simple message of youtube but I'd put it into levels. Even though it's mostly related to our emotions, since all levels are connected we can work on it directly or indirectly through the other levels:
      - Physically : Massages on the area, stretching, specially backwards, maybe lyind down with pillows underneath and breathing deeply to move the diaphragm (which is in that point). Also all kinds of breathwork, from strengthening the nave to be able to move upwards, to deep breathing to move the possible blockage.
      - Emotionally: Figure out if it's connected to some particular emotion. Be it fear (takes away our breath), loss of a loved one, ... process the emotion - and for this there are multitude of ways to do, including some possible therapy. Beware of not obsessing into the pain itself and staying in that "therapy" state eternally. At some point, we've processed enough and we need to move on and look forward towards the future.
      - Psychologically: Moving from the navel to the heart is a transition in the living from the heart, associated to consciousness, therefore choosing what we wish to be aware of. Again linking it to looking forward. What is my destiny? How can I move in that direction and serve others? (very different from what hurts? what's my story from the past around it? how do I heal myself?)
      - Spiritually: serving others put us into the context of all of us being spirits and therefore serving the God in all of us. Use our pain as a training to feel compassion for the pain that we all experience, and help others stuck in that point.
      Many blessings in that process,
      🙏❤

    What are the practicise for each locker ?

    • @Ardaas_Singh
      @Ardaas_Singh  6 місяців тому

      Thank you. I'd say there's a good number of things to take care on each level. Let's say the first lock: We'd have to consider the material attachment to things, practice non-attachment (different from detachment) and let go of physical addictions. At the same time, it is associated to the first three chakras, so purifying them would also help. That would mean having a stable life, good relationship to our sexuality, balanced diet, and so on. Then of course we'd have the physical practice of Mul bandha. So in summary, we'd have to work on all level, the physical practice, the energetic, the emotional, psychological and spiritual of each of the locks. Even though we say the first lock is more physical, second more in relation to others and third more spiritual, every lock has all the levels.
      There's more details on how to work on those levels in other videos on this channel, like the ones I'm doing right now on the mind games.
      I hope this is of service. Blessings!

    • @Ardaas_Singh
      @Ardaas_Singh  4 місяці тому

      Sat Naam,
      I am not sure how is the lock manifesting in your life, and it is difficult to talk in a way that it may be useful to you, i'll speak in a very abstract way to make it applicable. If it's on sexuality I should mention that the biggest trap and highest challenge in the spiritual path for men is sexuality. The proper regulation, management, and expression of that creative energy. To have a proper balanced relationship to it. The challenge is different whether we are in a relationship or not, but it's challenging nevertheless. Having contact with nature may help a lot, but in any case we need to be very honest with ourselves. Most people know what their issue is, and some fundamental way in which they could improve it, yet choose not to see it because it's challenging or takes some work. Let us commit to always get to the next level in ourselves and keep evolving and putting the effort to get there. I hope these words serve you in some way.
      Blessings,

    I would also like to know how will I know when the first to knots are untied

    • @Ardaas_Singh
      @Ardaas_Singh  Місяць тому

      Well, we can know when they are tied, by the challenges we live in our attachments to material, emotional and spiritual realms. Also, a know may untie and then we may fall into attachment again so it can tie itself back. It's a dynamic relationship we need to keep to the knots and the chakras. It's not a one-time thing we need to do and that's it, it's done. We can never assumed we're reached the end, and humbly keep working on each level. Blessings!

    Which exercises pranayamas and meditations do you recommend to strenghten the nervous system and which practices to purify the the chakras or knots?

    • @Ardaas_Singh
      @Ardaas_Singh  Рік тому +4

      Sat Naam / Namaste,
      That is actually a difficult question to answer. There are of course general things you could do. Any asana practice will strengthen the NS, and some pranayams will help as well. Breath of Fire, and pumping of the navel holding the breath are some good ones (not to be practiced menstruating or pregnant). Also some general practices to purify the nadis are sadi shodana or alternate nostril breathing and some other pranayams. For the knots in general the three bandhas are sort of the key. But please not this is all general advice, one should find individually what is best for us. For example, should you have an imbalanced chakra you should ask yourself (or your teacher) how is this chakra imbalanced? On each of the levels, for example if it was the 3rd chakra that is imbalance:
      Physically: linked to digestion, and so also to diet, how are my organs of digestion doing? Is there some particular issue? Is it in the stomach, or liver, or intestines?
      Emotionally: how do the issues with those organs affect emotionally? Or how is my diet linked to my emotions?
      Psychologically: Has something happened that was difficult to digest...
      Spiritually; As the center of projection, am I accepting my projection and the impact I may have on others?
      And so on... hopefully it serves you to start reflecting on it.
      Many blessings,

      @@Ardaas_Singh amazing explanation. 🙏 Nadi shodana and alternated nostril breathing turned out to be my favourites to balance the nadis. How to open rudra granthi

    • @Ardaas_Singh
      @Ardaas_Singh  2 місяці тому

      Well, the third granthi is associated to our spiritual attachment. So it will have to do with that. Even though we would normally first concern ourselves with the other two, in practice we can be aware of the three at the same time. Being associated with the 3rd eye will also involve our focus on that point during meditation and practice non-attachment to any feeling of advancement in the spiritual practice.

    Hello sir. I have been looking for answers for so long... i have a few questions..
    Why people collapse when receiving sudden surge of energy.
    What is soma energy? Can it be activated when doing mantras prayers.. practicing bhakti?

    • @Ardaas_Singh
      @Ardaas_Singh  Рік тому +1

      Sat Naam Angel,
      I am not entirely sure what you mean by sudden surge of energy and collapsing. I imagine a situation when too much energy flows upwards through our chakras and we may feel destabilised and feel dizzy. In an extreme it could give vertigo or even swooning, i guess. Though I don't know if this is what you refer to.
      Regarding the second question, in yogapedia it says: "In Vedic tradition, Soma also refers to a drink made from the extract of a mysterious and sacred plant. As mentioned in The Rig Veda, this drink is believed to be a life-giving elixir that bestows immortality on those who consume it.". This may have been a discussion about some particular plant, though I hear that as more metaphorical. The crown chakra being the mysterious and sacred lotus flower from which its essence descends into us and is consumed as a feeling delight and bliss. It often has the name of amrit and I talk about this on another video if you are interested, about the kundalini upanishad and the alternative to khechari mudra. Check it out and maybe it answers your question.
      Let me know if it makes sense to you. Otherwise maybe someone else reading this comment may reply and contribute with their wisdom.
      Blessings

      @@Ardaas_Singh i meant vertigo. Sorry i didn't explained well. Thank you 😊

    • @Ardaas_Singh
      @Ardaas_Singh  Рік тому +2

      @@angelpreety5750 Hi Angel. No problem. Vertigo can have a number of causes, including some which originate from physical issues such as ear infection. However, even if one may be more prone to vertigo, it often appears in moments of stress or sudden emotional distress/shock, or an imbalance in some habits such as sleep (going too late and sleeping too few hours for a few days in a row). Some people learn to live with vertigo and it can be as a reliable metric for our stress, we may not feel it and then... there we go again, the vertigo creeps in letting us know we should keep an eye on our stress.
      There's another aspect to vertigo, which can be linked as you mention to a surge of energy. In general, we consider the energy in the chakras to be of pyramidal nature, that is to say that the 1st chakra generally has more energy than the second one and so on, until we get to the 7th chakra and it's a much narrower band (and spiral of energy outwards) compared to the first. This is just a general approximation as the 3rd chakra is usually quite strong as well (maybe even more than the 1st) and also any chakra can get stronger in a particular moment, depending on where we are going through. In a very intimate moment with someone, feeling the depth of our love, our 4th chakra would open up and become very wide and strong field. But in general, the bottom chakras are stronger than the top ones, which makes for a very stable and balance energetic experience. If we don't do any physical exercise (to empower the lower chakras) and suddenly do a deep meditation for 2h looking at the 3rd eye and chanting a mantra, for example, this may rise the energy from the lower chakras, and our 5th, 6th and 7th can get really energised, effectively inverting the pyramid. So the higher chakras have more energy than the lower ones. The feeling may be of simply a bit spaced out, dispersed, feeling high, but also it may come as dizziness and a bout of vertigo if we are sensitive to that.
      I hope the answer is clear and it makes sense to the experience that you are referring to.
      Blessings!🙏
