FYI, turned out mine was blown as well, but in checking all power sources, I found no power on the prongs for the 30A pink fuse, so I thought it had to be something else. But finally I decided to try one of my extra 30A pink fuses (don't have a sunroof or 115 power converter), put it in, and it worked!
Thanks for posting! On a 2022 Ram 1500 the trailer tow +12v is in the fuse block UNDER the dash. See page 408 of the manual, 30 amp fuse F01. Verified by removal. It’s the UPPER LEFT corner of the fuse panel. See other posted videos for access and location.
I pulled my 5th wheel this weekend and lost trailer brakes on the way to the campground. I looked online and in the fuse box and F30 is called trailer tow. I couldn't hear any noise in the trailer brakes when pushing the pedal but I could after I swapped that fuse. The thing is I had power on that top pin for 12 volt power to the trailer the whole time even before swapping the fuse but the brakes did not work. Looking at the diagram posted here it shows the pin at 5:00 to be trailer brakes. So what fuse controls that? Because I haven't been able to find it. Except for F30 on my truck says trailer tow And the brakes are buzzing once again.
Very informative video, and helpful. But I'm not gonna lie, I could have done without the background music as it made it more difficult to hear what you were explaining.
Thanks! :) So, if a remove F30 fuse on my truck, will everything else still be functional on the trailer (light, bakes, turn, etc) ? I want to do this because I have lithium batteries on the trailer and my solar panels on top do the trickled charge. I don't want to damage the alternator with over-current to charge lithium.
Hi there, I have a 2016 3500 ram dually and just recently a few day ago my 7 pin trailer hook up in the bed stopped working no power. So I checked the fuse and it looks and pulled it out and there was no power to the box pin plug and to the bumper pin plug. So I put it back in and only the bumper 7 way pin works. So is the a different fuse I should be looking for ? Any help would be appreciated as I run 5th wheels transport in Socal and I had to make a pin extension from the back bumper and into my truck bed so I can keep working
I actually removed that fuse, since I have lithium batteries they would constantly drain from my truck batteries. Now I have no need for reinstalling a questionable isolator. Thanks for the tip.
I would disconnect the cable from the truck to the trailer if your trailer has batteries, before using electric jacks. The load from electric jacks may be to much. Also, the connection from truck to trailer may not be real good, causing high amperage arcing
The best explanation for this situation thanks
Thank you Sir. I just confirmed what you said on my truck.

I gave breaks, and running lights, but no turn signals, I have no Idea why

Yes. Separate fuses.

Would this also kill the battery on the truck i keep on havi g dead battery on my truck after replacing this fuse
Informative video, but difficult to hear you over the music
What if I have no running lights? Breaks, signals work
Same for 2017 2500. F30 blew and had same problem. Thought my winch took a crap on me. Nope blew a fuse under a heavy load..
What fuse was was it I have a 2017 ram 2500 and can’t find the fuse
Thank you
Is that the same for a 4 point adapter?
Saved my but thanks
What's with the music?
oh yea! Same on a 2014 Ram 3500.

I keep blowing my f30 no idea why.

Cut the damn music
