I watched so many videos about renting an apartment in Siem Reap from the states. Then I did it. I flew in ten days ago, got my apartment 6 days ago for $300 a month in Taphul village area. I've got a 12 X 3 foot private balcony on the street and a pool, water, wifi and cable all free. I'm home. I love it here. Thanks for the videos, I have 2 Aussie neighbors in the building, cheers.

That is a very big bedroom and the bathroom having the fully enclosed shower is a very nice bonus! Great place for $300/month. Thanks for doing these apartment tours, it really highlights the true cost of living benefits of Cambodia. Cheers from Canada!

House channels ?, Fantastic Idea
The apartment itself is Ok. But for $300 it’s overpriced when you can get places in the same area with pools, only 1 month deposit , No rubbish removal fees & away from that Temple noise. That’ll drive you nuts eventually. SR is massively overstocked with apartments & you could easily negotiate that down to $240 ish ……but the Temple music would be a deal breaker for most.
For sure. Great points made and there are some really great value places available at the moment. We will hopefully see some more very soon. And the prices always seem to be negotiable. Some even dropping $100+ off asking price. Some great deals here!!
