Same issue here in Australia. I had zero roses just really really long stems. I just dug mine up as well. Really disappointing actually.

Hi! Zone10 in Florida. I have three Lady of Shalott. It is not uncommon for some roses and notably English roses to grow much larger and behave differently here in the US under hotter conditions than the UK where they are bred and their descriptions are noted. Mine grow about 10 feet tall and need to be cut back several times during the year. A lot of people 'peg' them or plant them where they can be used as a climber. People in colder zones might not have this problem. Just thought I'd share. :)

I feel you but my issue was that mine had the wrong tag on it. I was expecting a deep pink climber and got a creamy white shrub. I kept waiting for those long canes that start growing in mid spring to pop and never did. The nursery doesn't want to take responsibility. Im sure someone found a tag on the ground and made an assumption as to what it was. I'm just going to cut it hard late winter next year and see what develops. Right now it looks crazy.

Hi Princess, like I said I’m the video, I was continually pruning it week after week and with all the pruning I was hardly getting flowers. Not to mention I don’t want to have to go out weekly to cut back my rose so that is why I decided to take it out. Thanks for watching!
