@chipdrop - Finally received my first chip drop after 3 YEARS.....opened -> 27APR2020 until today 24JAN2023...just arrived....if i want it again should i expect it three years from now?
They also drove onto the grass a little bit with their heavy tires :(

@@getchipdrop is there any quality control.... The mulch had lots of sticks, their trash, they drove over my lawn and spin their tires getting out....I clearly stated leave it on the street

I made the same mistake. I covered my entire backyard, which gave me 2 feet of mulch everywhere. I had so many bugs from this. I ended up paying a landscaper $500 to remove it. Bad experience.

This happened to me. I had no idea how massive the amount actually was. My pile actually looked twice as long as yours 😭. My garden is about 1000 square feet, but I only used half.
This happened to my neighbor. I loaded seemed like ten tubs and it didn't even seem like it did anything. And it was killing they're grass. There put it up in the neighborhood chat...lol

if you have a place to compost, that 10 yards will be down to 5 rapidly, and it is also going to get very hot inside, so consider the fire risk. i did tree work for years and they do not remain a huge pile for long. the down side is you need a place to compost and i will try to get back to you on an improved method by some botanist at a university on composting

You could have put the mulch down a lot deeper.
We have gotten 24 truck loads 20 yard's each.
We are in the country
All that in one year.
We use leaves for mulch also
You, could of put it in a corner of your back yard and just let it rot/compost. in about 2-3 years it will be 1/4 the size and you won't have to pay to buy topsoil.

2:24 lololol. I want like 3000 yards on 5 acres to convert sand to potting soil. I would never have this problem. :P This does sound like way too many chips for you guys though. haha. I hope you guys sorted that out.

The pile is almost similar in size to the car next to it. Shouldn't be too hard to ask around the block for neighbors to come grab some until it's out
