The turbo kills the 4rs in comfort or at least can. sure you can down option the turbo and max out comfort option on rs4 and get them close but even in base config the turbo will have more comfortable seats ride noise level temp control options ...etc . a daily driver unlike a toy often includes a passenger , maybe a girlfriend or date if they are bounced around can't hear you and are cold they won't enjoy the time. So i see no comparison for most ppl as a daily driver. That being said for a toy or a summer blast now and then or if i were looking for a serios track car a gt4rs or a gt3 rs would be my choice. I think for most ppl the latter are a second or third vehicle . if i could have only one a daily driver and occasion track day car it would have to be the turbo. comfortable posh and attractive to the ladies reasonable fuel economy amazing top speed beautiful sound not too loud any option i could want or afford.

You honestly can extract more out of the 4RS then the Turbo S. They have not discontinued the aero kit. My turbo S just got completed and the factory yesterday and I have it coming with it. GT cars are like rap music. Nobody really likes it/them but they just buy/listen so people will think they’re cool. Lol.
100% the nicest turbo spec ever. Epic with the colour matching accents, aero kit and black calipers. So so wild. MEGA I have a shark blue 4RS that came in August (in Philippines) and am in love for all the 3,500 kms, but the turbo is more car for more occasions and can do it all. That said, a lot more money too so not really like for like. I love the fact that the turbo can be your everyday and your special car all in one. Dream machines
Great vid. I’d definitely go with the Turbo if I drove in Miami or South Florida in general. Just to give an idea to those who never visited Miami, the roads here are all in a square pattern and straight, typical urban streets but without countryside in between cities. The whole area is one giant concrete pad. So driving between Miami and Fort Lauderdale etc you won’t see farms or rivers or lakes or mountains anything natural, it’s all asphalt. Soul-killing roads for a car guy so nice to have the Turbos comfort when you want it.

That color combo on the Turbo is really wonderful, I agree about the exhaust: at first I was very pleased that sport exhaust was available now on the Turbo but in the end the 991.2 Turbo, which didn't have it, was making more sound...
I agree. Love the color combo. Even better though having the ducts and many of the black accents painted color matching in my opinion looks so classy. The same color scheme without that while pretty still doesnt compare.
Interesting to watch. In your market the GT4RS and Turbo are selling for the same price due to the insane demand for the GT4RS. Where I live in Australia there is also strong demand for the GT4RS (and all Porsche models) but we pay MRSP and a GT4RS without the Weissach clutter is $380,000 Australian and a similarly optioned Porsche Turbo S is $612,000. On that basis the GT4RS is an absolute bargain. For the boring highway travel the Turbo is the better car, as the GT4RS is firm and just wants to be belted around corners. For me the Turbo was like driving a missile, and quite soulless despite its amazing prowess. So far I havent had a headache driving my GT4RS. As you said, they are both great cars, but very different.

Love your cars, especially the Touring(current dream car, or any Porsche, for that matter), but Turbo S is a supercar daily driver! It can hang with cars with much more power that cost 100-200 thousand more! Thanks for sharing!

I allways wanted a 911 Turbo, but when I had the chance to buy one I preferred the GT3 because I'm more into track driving and I think/know the GT3 is better on the track!!! But still some day i think Ill get one, I hope!! Great video, thanks for shearing
The crazy thing is, depending on the track, the Turbo S can actually put down better times than the GT3. But if the track has a ton of twisties and no long runs then GT3 will win.

Two epic cars but I would go for the GT4 RS as prefer the sound of a high revving normally aspirated engine and better throttle response. I could though be persuaded to take the 992 Turbo S if I lived in Germany and had easy access to one of their unrestricted autobahns where you could use the power.
The only thing that sucks with FL is no nice curvy roads or back roads like most other countries in the US, FL 99% straight roads. But if you have a house in Georgia I would pick any GT car any day over a turbo
I own the turbo s. I can't find one thing I don't like about it. Just an incredible, mind bending piece of engineering. All I have to do to improve the handling is put a few cup car bits on to it. Your gt4rs is 224k and it's not a 911. 😂
The 911 Turbo is a beautiful car and runs on a wave of torque, but I prefer the GT4 and it could be a twin turbo build. I own a 2nd gen 987 Cayman S and we just wanted the 3.8 out of the 911 GTS back in 2010. Porsche finally created and released the car we wanted and the bar moved up. I'd like a twin turbo DeMan 4.5 in my 2010 Cayman (GTS). Rock on!

I’ve driven over 10 different 911 including 4 different GT3 and 3 different turbos. Turbo is by far my least favourite 911…I’d take my 997.2S over the turbo any day. Who cares about highway cruising…that’s what the SUV is for. Give me the GT4 or any GT3 all day no question. The 4L N/A engine is a masterpiece.
I agree with you. That car was a stage 2 and was awesome on the highway though. That being said, I got back into my 4RS and revised my thoughts. I wouldn’t trade my 4RS for a Turbo S either

The luxury tax in AU is insane, feel for you guys. Everything is expensive and income tax is high. Good quality of love overall though.
