@MrDR7no you obviously haven't heard many of daves solos, see of mice and men (suggest this one most and if you say there is no emotion in this one, you obviously have no taste in music), my last words, she wolf, and some of his solos in victory, they are all great, but i like kirk he's 6 in my top ten

@crp13331 u dont have to be complex to be good. u have to make MUSIC take slash for example his solos are not at all complex but he's supposed to be a lot greater guitarist than kirk. kirk can be VERY fast but not so accurate thats why he uses the wah wah so much but he;s a tapping master. take for example whiplash its one of the greatest solos he plays today without the wah wah he may not be top but he's made very good music and stop
@Xanth016 ok, if you can't give any good reason, then you ask if i can do better. No, i don't play guitar, i'm a college student, and i don't earn millions of dollars a year by sitting on my ass an replaying/re-estructuring my "solos".
I don't want to troll anymore, and i think fighting on youtube is lame, my opinion represents only me, no one else, so if you still like kirk hammet, good for you, enjoy his repetitive solos and be happy.

playing 3-4 shows each week for 1,5 years leavs its marks on the voice.

yep. I learnt with youtube it's maybe better going to see them in the early weeks of the tour or while they are recording. After dozen of months touring James voice is fucked.
But how can a man voie can get so much weaker after one year? 08 motorbreaths soundes MUCH better
@cliffenbiffen I like kirk hammet, I like james, I started playing guitar because of metallica music, but really, kirk hammet is so overrated as guitarist (by many people), he isn't that good, that's why he is called kirk wahmett, because he uses the wah wah pedal to hide the mistakes, and musically he's not really complex, he should know there's other scales out of the pentatonic scale.
@MrDR7no and of course dave mustaine is no better than kirk. he may be faster but he's just fast fast and fast. no emotion and that's what makes slash one of the greatest guitarists ever. no one can play more emotionally than him kirk is a good but not extreme guitarist but he's made very good solos, and that's why he's in my top metal gods list
