- I'm excited to share my first thoughts on the new Stanton STX portable turntable with innofader. After unboxing it I am sharing my first impressions, do a first cut and compare it with other turntables like the Numark PT01 and the Reloop Spin. For the price I paid 249€, I highly recommend it!

I no longer recommend the STX as mine has stopped working suddenly and awaiting repair :|
Could be those cheap batteries that come with it. I got some decent batteries and also a powerpack. No issues so far. However, when I pull back the record for scratching there is an annoying squeak, it seems like the belt is wearing away so I ordered some new ones.
I got my unit replaced by the vendor.
Thank you bro😊
Does the vinyl audio from your STX filter out the lower frequencies? I wanted to sample 7” & 45s but noticed that the low end is missing as compared to my other standard turntables or the Bluetooth connection using the same songs.
When I have the "tone" knob at 12 o'clock I don't notice any change in the lower frequencies. To be honest I am using scratch sample records so it might be harder to notice from regular music 7". I wouldn't recommend the STX for sampling as it's limited to 7" records and the cartridge is not of great sound quality :)
@@freshcutsbcn I like to sample from less-than-stellar sources. I started deejaying in 94 and what made music sound authentic was the absence of high quality…we were broke. That’s Hip-Hop. Youngstas today call it LoFi 😂
@@DJSupe Hehe indeed.
