As a Wolf main I'm really happy to see that Kain managed to start adapting to Salem later on although unfortunately it was too late. In due time he'll be legit at this MU. As for Salem, all that's been said has been said. Kid was on fire all night. One of many great sets from Apex 2013.
Nick Riddle is considered one of the high/top names in Smash overall. Until recently he was the best ZSS around. Anyone who follows this game even semi-competitively ought to have heard of him by now.
That was way too sick. Pure madness. Kain did really well second game though. It's a relief to see such good ZSS and Wolf matches besides the usual top tier characters.
You may be right, the game probably would have been pretty different if he took advantage of the reflector. But that would require wolf to get in range of the whip which is a lot harder to deal with.
Hey Gunblade I love your commentary. I have actually had a smashfest with Nick Riddle and a few of his friends and Nick Riddle is very good. He has so much knowledge of brawl it is ridiculous. I main Link and he said I can get good with him but I need to learn so much in order to do that. he said that both Link, ZSS are both really really hard characters to do well with.

ZSS is not top. MK is still the better more consistent character. just because salem went HAM at apex doesn't mean ZSS is the best character in the game.

Well, I think that first stock Game 1 was the first hint we had of things to come.
Those items are insane. No one even knew how to counter ZSS because no one has even heard of a good ZSS. Props to Salem for breaking the tier list.

To say no one has even heard of a good ZSS is a bit extreme. Nick Riddle is still present, and Snakeee back in the day was the top ZSS too.
Salem started taking names 2011 and was argued for first throughout much of 2012. 2013 pretty much solidified that Salem is the superior ZSS by far.
My definition of "good" is a little more narrow because I'm only familiar with the top 5-10 names in tournaments, like most non-competitive smashers.
