But when it comes to opinions and individual ideas, a year is a pretty decent length of time, for real. A lot of my opinions and values now, don't always line up 1:1 with where they were 1 year ago, and some change completely over that time or longer. This is an old interview.

@@mattpryokra2245 I agree that Njpw has better wrestling quality, but i am talking about the production quality, the lights , the shots the camera , the commentry, and most importantly the History. I prefer WWE style of production ( just my personal taste). And currently WWE has one of the best storylines ever going on ( Bloodline).
@@sammy.3152 I mean you can technically say the same for NJPW in terms of history. WWE doesn't have a better production quality than NJPW. Just different. That's really about it, everything else is subjective.

Honestly I’ve never been a fan of his style of wrestling. I mostly overlap with someone like Jim Cornette (without the toxicity cuz he’s extra sometimes)
But I’d definitely keep an open mind and give him a chance if he moves to WWE. He’s definitely talented and hard working.

His style is also pretty malleable. I'm also not much of a fan but if you compare his work in NJPW to his work in AEW, you can see a huge difference in how he performs in the ring. In NJPW even his marathons looked like sprints with how hard he went. But in AEW a lot of it has a more deliberately indie feeling with the workrate taking a noticeable cut. It wouldn't surprise if Kenny in WWE looked like something completely new.
THIS. Idk why its so hard for people to understand this. Im not a big Kenny fan either but a lot of that has to do with his presentation. Having him be corralled in a little and maybe given a gimmick/direction could lead to new fans including some of us who arent on board yet
Have you actually even watched his matches though? Probably not.
WWE wouldn't bother with Kenny cuz they believe they have guys with much better character development (they're not entirely wrong). Also read that they think he's already too old and they have guys just as good as Kenny already. He wouldn't be appreciated in WWE we all know that. He also talks like he's done trying to be the "ACE" and chase title after title. He's checked off all his boxes already he's ready to aid new talent. His body is breaking down and he's ready to slow it down.
WWE will never let Kenny ....be Kenny. The Kenny we like in NJPW or even in AEW.

Haters typical answer, clueless about wrestling. Kenny will stay in AEW thought but one of the worse answer i've ever seen.
@@AoWgoldsteel True, but how much of his history has factored into his WWE tenure? He's on the same roster as guys like Nakamura Shinsuke and Prince Devitt/Finn Balor, he's even wrestled the former on WrestleMania for the WWE title. Was it ever mentioned anywhere they had history before that match? On a substantial storytelling level? No.
Kenny Omega's story is intertwined with that of a bunch of other wrestlers, most explicitly the Young Bucks and Ibushi Kota. Without that backstory, Kenny Omega's character loses a lot of its strength. Sure, he'd still be great, but it would be nowhere near as compelling as he is outside of WWE.
Don't get me wrong, I'd like to see Kenny in WWE, and have at least one run with the WWE title. But only if the continuity of Kenny Omega isn't compromised.

@@christophermarriott1681 not crying just stating my hope you have your opinion I have mine and apparently many agree with me, considering how many thousands of people tune out when they come on TV that is not my opinion that is a fact if he doesn’t go to WWE that’s fine but the ratings aren’t going to get better until they find someone that knows what they’re doing when it comes to booking and stops listening to the high schoolers I really like AEW and I want them to succeed but with those three as EVP’s it’ll never be anything but an independent wrestling show with money

Kenny Omega is looking at what was chatted about decades ago when WCW was still around but then it never happened cause of private rich businessmen bought into the industry & it’s been a none stop rotation now with Tony Khan & they are what’s bad for business that’s why AEW are suffering.
The best route for Pro Wrestling is like Football/Soccer works things with a wrestling association that has representation from all company’s & they all work together & Wrestlemania could be used as the biggest event going
The hard fact is the private business owners like Toney Khsn will say no & it won’t work this is why it didn’t happen before cause Ted Turns didn’t want it cause he lost control & money.

That’s the opposite of what happened rollins distracted roman and I wished kenny debuted and helped roman because his heel run in aew was great but now with his shoulder infection, he might not even have a retirement match.
Not a huge fan of Kenny but it's just a taste thing, I'm 42 so I can do without the skipping n shaking the head n pointing n face making n body popping as he sells blows. I have seen him tone all that down n get serious so he's very frustrating to watch but I wish him all the best if he decides to jump to WWE, I'm sure he would be better served just being a wrestler n not EVP

Kenny will debut in the mainevent on WM. Roman will hit the last spear on cody. Before the 3 count sephiroth arrives like WK17 and a Vtrigger hits Roman so hard in his face that he falls down and after a one winged angels a ref comes back in the ring and cody wins it with kenny finally knocking out Roman.
Next night on raw Bullet club Music hits and out comes Finn Balor, then Aj Styles with the OC and a big club flag, then kenny and the new champion cody with the old world heavyweight title from rick flair. They stay in the ring together and announce the last spot in the group, out comes white with his njpw theme song!
They announce a world tournament with all other brands going into Summerslam.

1:42 Wrestling partnerships are not a zero-sum game, therefore it is pointless to worry about the other company getting more out of it. Kenny has a decent head on his shoulders.

If he wants the people to remember him and leave a legacy in the business he needs to go to WWE before he retire either you like or not but WWE is the biggest professional wrestling in the history of business there you leave a legacy it's a bigger platform bigger audience

I’m not a fan of Kenny’s style really but I’ve heard a couple interviews of his discussing the business side of things and I find I like him as a human hearing how he views and discusses things. But the idea of a talent share with WWE has never been a reality and everyone knows that. It’s fun to float that idea but it brings absolutely no benefit to a WWE. The companies that AEW has done shares with are all at a level where everybody wins - wwe sharing talent with a smaller audience and company doing 10% of its revenue really doesn’t pop out as some big benefit to do.

I would like to see him building up as a mysterious opponent to the the tribal chief while building up his own gang in WWE and then it'd be the tribal family members vs Kenny's gang, slowly building up to to Roman and Kenny. Althought Roman is nowhere near a very diverse wrestler Kenny is, he just does superman punches and spears, but Roman has a bigger presence than Kenny

If Kenny joins WWE next year it will be the perfect time to join the company, here's why:
- The Roman mega push that started since the shield break-up is finally over, he has done it all, once he dropped the undisputed title he doesn't need any belt to be the top performer in the card. he can shift the focus from title to actually rebuild his crumbling bloodlines, not to mention there's still that possibility to feuding with The Rock.
- Therefore it opens up a huge possibility for new face on the world title picture, alot of talents that never be their world champ before. Guys like Gunther, Gable, Riddle, LA Knight, Ciampa, Balor and so on.
- It will be the perfect time for Omega to join because he actually have the chance to become the top guy just like everybody else now.
- Not to mention he finally have the chance to face Nakamura and AJ Styles one on one. something he never got to do in New Japan

I think that maybe, there is a possibility of Kenny and The Bucks going to WWE and showing up at Wrestlemania. I think Triple H is more than willing to have them come in, and as far as I’m concerned, Vince no longer has a say. WWE should definately sign Kenny and The Bucks, more so the Bucks because they NEED better tag teams. The USOs have been like the only credible tag team in the past 5 years, so they need more teams.
Maybe WWE should put more effort into creting good teams insted of signing top teams from other companies. It might work out temporarily but it's certainly not sustainable in the long run.
The Bucks will see what FTR has experienced, and move the fk away from WWE.
I can only think of when new day were heels as the last credible wee tag team. And that was like ages ago.
WWE could have The Usos, The New Day, The Young Bucks (potentially), and even imagine Guerrillas of Destiny in WWE
I know Kenny Omega would do incredible in NXT. The main roster...Well it depends where he goes. I feel like he'd be better off on Raw then Smackdown. He could be in the new World Heavyweight title picture. But i dont think him against Roman would work seeing how it went with Cody i feel Kenny wouldn't fair as well especially without his friends.

People keep bringing up that 9 year old thing like it's a slight against Omega. She was leaving the wrestling school to focus on scholastics and the school wanted to give her a good send off. The fact that when these people asked themselves 'who's the best hand we have that could work with a small child, make the kid look good and make sure not to hurt them?' the name they come up with was 'Kenny Omega' should tell you how good he is. I don't like his style of wrestling. He frequently does things that take me out of the match (for example, the hair spray spot in his match with Jericho). But to pretend Kenny Omega isn't one of the most talented wrestlers of his generation is just stupid.
