- The Checkmate HD from Griffin Armament isn't afraid to do things differently that many of the competitors on the market. Is that a good thing, or a bad thing? The answer depends on what your needs are.

I ordered one on Griffin’s GI Program using their ship to your door option. Should have it soon! One of my selling points was the EZ Cam-Lok so I can easily swap it from pistol to rifle.
Another good suppressor option!
Their ez lok system is more for it not to loosen up while shooting. Less chance of a baffle strike.
Good review, I never really considered suppressing 22, but honestly why not right.
If you want to direct thread, you don't need the direct thread adapter. You can just thread the ez-lok muzzle device into the can, and snug it with a wrench. You now have a direct thread can😉
That’s fair
I'll be picking one of these up once it reaches my work. I'm also running the griffin ez lok on my cgs mod9sk for both my 75 sp01 and p10c. Work great and satisfying when swapping from gun to gun.
Have you had any issues with the ez lok coming off?
@@OreGear I haven't had any issues with the mounts coming loose while shooting. I have had issues with the barrel mount coming off when I try to switch hosts when hot. But I recently started using an o-ring and tightening it with a wrench. It's given me good results without baffle strikes.
I would compare it to a smaller version of a xeno mount which I also use for my resonator k. In which I found I need to wrench the suppressor on for it not to loosen up. Besides it normally stays on one rifle.
Griffins customer service has been amazing.
Thanks for the review! What bolt gun is that? I like it! Also how did you mount it to that oversized barrel on that bolt gun?
This is a Bergara B14R and it’s still 1/2x28 even with the heavy barrel
@@OreGear I checked out your competition video after I asked. Very cool rifle and some good shooting. Hope you figured the mag issue out haha! I want to see some more videos featuring this gun, competition or just fun!

My personal favorite to suppress.
It’s definitely one of the most satisfying calibers to suppress
@@OreGear i love my 5.7 suppressed so might need to try it on 22. Well if will work on my rifles.
