Appreciate the openess of this episode. Real people talking about real issues. I haven't experienced much of this stuff, however I have ppl around me who clearly have mental health barriers they need to deal with, but because of the stigma of mental health issues they don't get the help they need. This is especially true for the hispanic community who stigmatized the fuck outta mental health with thier oversimplified logic, " eso e loquera" , " ese ta loqutiao" . Maybe they just need someone to talk to jeez. Anyways excellent episode and content as always keep up the excellent work. This is probably the most important one thus far, blessing to both of you.
Of course, and it’s sad how we suffer in silence because we don’t want to be labeled as crazy or how we are unable to speak to our families about the things that we are dealing with. We have become afraid to open up to others and seek for help which is why it’s so important to speak about this topic. Thank you for watching 💖💖
This is a very serious topic, anxiety is also pushed aside in the black community, especially in caribbean islands. Here in jamaica, you don't really hear about people suffering from anxiety or depression, though it is a major play in a lot of persons lives.
You know what’s even more sad? That we tend to suffer the most because we don’t have the resources and since we don’t speak about it we don’t know what we are going through or experiencing. Which is why I always say be kind to people you never know what they are dealing with 💖
LOVED THIS!!!! SOOOOOOO MUCH
I am so glad to hear that, I truly hope that you enjoy all of them.. Thanks for watching !!! :-)
