The power moments in this video (as scribbled in my note pad) for me are: "It's not the length but the depth of content that matters... that's what the searcher intended." (searcher motive?) "Broadness is key for different types of searches people make." "For a brand new website go for the quick wins... go for the less competitive queries." (low hanging fruits, anyone?)

In terms of speed I only partly agree with you guys. Page speed is one thing but page size another. Not everybody has high speed mobile connection and especially if you are not in a developed country (I am in Colombia and mobile connection in some areas really sucks) having a page that sizes 2mb or 0.2mb really makes a difference. Consider also traffic from countries like India where hundreds of millions of people speak English today but as I said, if a mobile page needs 1 minute or 0.1 minute to load, that will make a big difference. So after my opinion, speed will be more and more important in the future and if you have a fast loading page, the consumer experience will be better, they might hop to another post on the page and so on and the chain reaction for you ranking higher starts. Its true that you must not blindly follow the average monthly search that most paid tools give you. In my experience, a keyword that I found had 10 monthly searches, wrote a descent content and was not planning to put huge work on it, now brings almost half the overall site traffic! Every keyword counts - thats what I learned. Keep up the good work guys.

Maybe the best way is to use a not-so-expensive paid program like keyword revealer www.keywordrevealer.com/ jus . Just pay of one month and you can get search metrics on hundreds of keywords.

My top 3 websites are ranked in the top 5 of the front page of Google, 2 of them are position 1. Since 2001 every site I've ever created has ranked in the top 5. I use to work as a human Google reviewer and can tell you they ask extremely detailed questions for specific web sites and search results. They are usually testing a new algorithm and taking a percentage of searches to test which result (side A or Side B) is a better result. Google claims the reviewers do not play a part as to if a specific page ranks or not but rather testing if the new algorithm is providing better results or not. Hope that makes sense 😁
Great content! I've watched a lot of regurgitated bs about SEO. I've spent hours and hours learning the same tricks that don't work, and you can clearly tell that they are just marketing schemes. As a dyslexic blogger I rely on short posts and good images with 50+ blogs producing low income that mount up to 8K to 12K per month with low traffic averaging about 25 visitors per day to 150 per day. Love your content and I am finding it raeally useful. I call my blog marketing blunderbuss marketing, if it works it works even if it goes against the tide of what the experts advise.

Hello guys, I remember some years ago, working in Marketing and just getting to know what SEO was, and giving instructions to the digital agency, that from their 'recommendation on google's suggestions on words" as well as my own search with google's tools that I just thought: HOW COULD THEY KNOW BETTER THAN US WHO TALK TO THE CLIENTS AND SERVE THE CLIENTS? It just goes back to SIMPLICITY. The normal way, the common, regular way in which clients ask questions, claim a service, establish their worries, etc. THAT is what they will be using, any client with thos needs, to search on google. I cannot think of a different way in searching in google than the NORMAL, COMMON words that come to my mind whey I need information. With all due respect, you know SO MUCH and and just so CHARMING ! A question: Why take advantage of "people also ask" if the keyword planner presents a report with all searches related to the context? 1) What different information can I get from there? 2) Are the searches indicated in "people also ask" search keywords? 3) Does the keyword planner list search terms on google or topic keywords?

That 25% is not that important at all. It's no magic formula. Everything is on the internet 1.do topic research 2setup.your website 3.make long form content 4.you won't get traffic for 7 months due to Google sandbox 5.put articles daily.
That’s what we do we make the answer first in bold for snippets also makes the users life easier if that’s all they came to learn. 👍🏻 then we follow with a table of contents with anchors to give Google good scroll metrics if it’s a long article like Wikipedia
When our SEO consultant started talking about open graph or html structure or meta tags during our weekly meetings with the "dot .com staff", all the editors and sales people would excuse themselves and leave the meeting. It was always left to us devs to figure that stuff out so we usually end up winging it.
There information is true for websites in general ,I find that a lot of ranking factors on google are a mirror of UA-cam video ranks , the difference being google requires more time and trust signals to rank than videos.

Hello guys, I remember some years ago, working in Marketing and just getting to know what SEO was, and giving instructions to the digital agency, that from their 'recommendation on google's suggestions on words" as well as my own search with google's tools that I just thought: HOW COULD THEY KNOW BETTER THAN US WHO TALK TO THE CLIENTS AND SERVE THE CLIENTS? It just goes back to SIMPLICITY. The normal way, the common, regular way in which clients ask questions, claim a service, establish their worries, etc. THAT is what they will be using, any client with thos needs, to search on google. I cannot think of a different way in searching in google than the NORMAL, COMMON words that come to my mind whey I need information. With all due respect, you know SO MUCH and and just so CHARMING ! Really, but you do not know that because you are not, like others on the internet, trying to impress anyone, you just KNOW and ARE NOT AFRAID to share. Saludos, this is Maritza from Mexico City !

Why take advantage of "people also ask" if the keyword planner presents a report with all searches related to the context? 1) What different information can I get from there? 2) Are the searches indicated in "people also ask" search keywords? 3) Does the keyword planner list search terms on google or topic keywords?

I’ve been blogging for-e-vah! I’ve had some success. Paid an obscene amount of money for courses. Still haven’t broken the 4K PV mark! Ugh! But yinz two speak the way my brain works, linear and logical. Hubby won’t let me spend more $ on courses. So I’ll just have to put into use what you’ve taught me for free so far. Now that my boys are grown and into the work force I have way more time to focus on blogging. Thank you for these videos!
By the way, for those of us with content already, can you do a video on doing a content audit? I just did a basic one and deleted tons of old content that was just taking up server space. My numbers have jumped since then. Who knew?! Do you ever do this with your sites?

@@digiexploration530 hey bro. The free content in UA-cam is 75% of their course. If you watch all their UA-cam content. You pretty much have learnt about 75% percent of it.
That 25% is not that important at all. It's no magic formula. Everything is on the internet

3.make long form content
4.you won't get traffic for 7 months due to Google sandbox
5.put articles daily.

That’s what we do we make the answer first in bold for snippets also makes the users life easier if that’s all they came to learn. 👍🏻 then we follow with a table of contents with anchors to give Google good scroll metrics if it’s a long article like Wikipedia

Gadget Gists You need to relink it. I had the same issue. Also, if your domain is a redirect, make sure it’s set for the correct domain.
I have the opposite problem. My Google Console shows traffic/clicks, but my Google Analytics shows nothing, zero traffic. I don't know why either.

When our SEO consultant started talking about open graph or html structure or meta tags during our weekly meetings with the "dot .com staff", all the editors and sales people would excuse themselves and leave the meeting. It was always left to us devs to figure that stuff out so we usually end up winging it.

There information is true for websites in general ,I find that a lot of ranking factors on google are a mirror of UA-cam video ranks , the difference being google requires more time and trust signals to rank than videos.
Would you recommend a Wordpress subdirectory or subdomain to start blogging off your existing site?

dont want to mislead the 99% but if you do all this right and follow guys like this and ruan marinho its fairly easy to get on page 1 in less than 4 months...hell even weeks. but the people doing all these things are few and the ones dropping gold nuggets on youtube are like unicorns..maybe more like 4 leaf clovers since 1 actually exists. this is a badass video guys. always eager to learn more, ill be in touch.
