I absolutely LOVE that Infinity Stand! Great job Sara and Method! And great video covering all of the features! The price does give me pause though.... So while I would have jumped at this stand for another price point, where it sits right now, I'll definitely be holding off.
I'm not used to using my iPad very often in my work setup, but I admit that this is a gadget that looks good and adds a lot of style. Above all, it seems to be very useful. It will probably work great on my Protractor desk from Manhattan Home Design. Thanks for the review! It's always good to know this kind of thing.
It's almost perfect as far as the iPad stand. My only wishlist feature would be that it could be a connection hub as well with SD card slots etc, like the Anker one. Sara should do another collab with Moment and Anker lol, then it would check all the boxes.
I am really like these stands and the case that they came. I am also loving your office setup. Always enjoy your video content. Thank you for everything.
1:59 height, angle, rotation, fairly less wobbly because of weighted base. Hmmm? 3:59 rotates 360 degrees. 5:44 how would you lock it down, as a payment stand. I like the front grooves that allow full forward for iPad to flat.
I wish there was a charging port in the base of the ipad stand and they utilized the 3 dot charging on the pack of the iPad. Having a floating cord for longer sessions feels weird. Especially for the price.
Could someone tell me if the ipad stand would work with a case on? Such as the Logitech keyboard case? Creators always ignore case compatibility for some reason, I would think that’s a very important feature to include on a review video
Love it! Wish I could get it right NOW lol. I hate waiting. I like the weighted option and the portrait option all in one. I also liked how you showed how you use it in addition to your monitor. Sometimes I don't know what to do with it.
Cool. I got the MagFlött Stand because of one of videos and it's been great. This is more aimed for drawing professionals rather than coders like myself since the height is pretty short but looks well built.
Yeah I have seen lots of different iPad stands on UA-cam but this one is very unique and all the use scenarios you used are very helpful in our day to day life to anyone who owns an iPad. I think it’s a little too pricey for a stand without no ports…Great Review! 😊
That was my main concern. If this was like $70 or maybe $80, I’d be tempted, for almost $200 though regular price and $150 special pricing, I want ports.
Curious about how stiff the stand really is, I’m guessing it could be your desk has some give but throughout the video I see the iPad wobble and it is most apparent at 5:31
Love the iPad stand - but why isn't there a single stand that can charge the iPad via the smart connector? 😭 Is this so difficult for third party manufacturers to implement?
Thanks for this video. What is your take on the CharJen MagFlott stand as an alternative? While it isn’t as adjustable as the Lab22, it has a smaller footprint and raises the iPad up higher so that the USB-C cable can still connect to the external monitor from the bottom edge. This means the iPad selfie camera will remain on top-wouldn’t this make more sense for properly centered zoom calls? Especially since video calls on the iPad still don’t support an external monitor webcam. Curious your thoughts.
I have the Magflott for over half a year. It's the best stand I have purchased. I'm not sure if you meant the new height adjustable Magflott that is coming, but to your point, my Magflott includes a curved cable, so it doesn't hit the top of the base when in portrait mode.
Great review, Chris. Really appreciate your videos as a tech looking to transition away from a 9-5 . Question for you... How does this Moment Lab22 stand compare to the Anker 551 in terms of drawing mode reliability? This Moment stand seems perfect based on your video. Obviously, there is a height difference, but would you recommend this Moment Lab22 stand over the Anker 551? Or, would you recommend pairing this Moment stand with an Anker 541 USB-C Hub for people that want to use a stand but need to connect other accessories? Curious to hear your thoughts, as well as others. Sucks this Moment stand isn't dropping to 2023. I use a Moments lenses and love them with my Pro Max 14 for film and photography.
Can you fit a Mac mini in between the two legs that hold the iPad up on the InfinityAdjust stand? Or more precisely, is it equal to or wider than 197 mm?
I have the MagFlott, which really felt like a very good idea at first, but then I realized it is just too low to be ergonomic. It really needs to be on a monitor arm to be ergonomic as a side monitor, plus MagSafe capability (i.e. charging via the back connectors and external monitor link via the USB-C port). I'm hoping to see something like this that will attach to a VESA monitor arm, now that external monitor support for iPad Pros is available. Also, I feel that these stands that can fold down for drawing and writing just don't feel "right". Moving that whole stand just feels so make-shift. Ultimately I think all I need is a block of silicone that spans the width of my iPad Pro, with one side at 5cm high, another side at 10cm, so I can just "roll" it over for a different height. This would be much easier to move around when drawing, and I could just throw it into a bag when I go out. If I want to be picky it could come with a shorter L shaped strip to protect the bottom edge of the iPad Pro when I have it propped up for drawing.
These are cool, but only pre-order for Jan 2023 delivery. I will look again when in stock as a lot of these are coming out. So far, this would be a purchase for me though. Cool review
🤗😎💡🤷♂️CHRISTOPHER ,A GREAT IDEA FOR WORK AND PLAYING WITH COOL 😎 FEATURES… and I am retired and the budget does not allow it 😢, but it’s GREAT 👍 for those who can 💚💚💚
No, that was just because I got them early for a review and they didn’t have final packaging at the time. I Thought it would be fun to incorporate that into the video
@@ThatMarkGilroy I’ve got the impression that Sara doesn’t communicate very well unless your name is MKBHD or Peter McKinnon. Functionally the stand looks great but send massively over priced.
This first prototype is perfect. In a world of connectivity and productivity, a base that sturdy could benefit from a few ports and HDMI. Perhaps in the future. In the meantime, that apple pencil ✏ drawing angle is unmatched. That low angle is perfect for cooking and UA-cam so you don't need to look up and down since you're always looking down at the pots
I feel like $150 is pretty substantial. I have a $20 with a weighted base and does everything the same except swivel to portrait. That is cool. But I'm glad you got some points with rymes with Peachy.
While all these adjustable stands look great, I wish for once someone would take into account that not everyone takes their iPad out of their protective cases to use it. I never do and I am sure most people that have protective cases don't either. I want to keep my iPad fingerprint and scratch-free so I can get the maximum trade-in value when it reaches its end of life for my workflow and use case. The iPad is a fragile device. One drop and it's all over. I guess I'll just have to keep waiting.

Chris!!!! Omg thank you so much for showcasing LAB22 in such an amazing way 🤩🤩 enjoy!!
Thank you for sharing them with me! 😁👍
Sara, you smashed it with this stand! I intend to buy one. Thanks for showcasing it to me, Chris!
Just got one 😅
I LOVE the way they all look aesthetically as a set!
Right!? They look great!

The stand for the iPad is indeed one of the most sturdy and functional stands out there, good product, cheers!

iPad stand looks great - I've not used one that's good for drawing / note taking before so this looks great for that!
It really is!
Hey it's Chris! Nice video.
Hey it’s Chris! Thank you!!
Heck yeah looks fantastic. Can’t wait for my kickstarter backed versions to ship
Also thanks for chatting about wobble with the iPad setup or I should say lack of
It's so good!!
Best puff piece I’ve seen on Lab 22 so far.

You should check out Magfit, they have been offering products like the one you mentioned for a long time.
2:10 wanna try removing the iPad without holding the stand from falling over 😂😂
Does the 12.9 iPad stand fold completely flat for transportation?
Would this stand work with a thin case on the IPAD? I have a nomad leather case and don’t want to take it off every time I want to use the stand.
Wireless headphone charging idea has been my quest for a decade. Also perhaps having an m1 iPad Pro we could get a Blender 3D option.
I am really like these stands and the case that they came. I am also loving your office setup. Always enjoy your video content. Thank you for everything.

Thanks for sharing. Blessings on your day 👍🏻
Love the aesthetics, could def see this in my workflow.
Finally got mine. Love it.
Thank you for posting this video. You have a new subscriber. Keep up the great work. I love ❤️ this. I really want one..
150 for a phone stand? i really like it, but my god...
Nice stand, but at 1:47 the ipad smacks into the base if you try and rotate it when there is no tilt on the stand.
Hope to see that improved
There is tilt adjust, I just didn’t tilt it enough in that shot.
Could someone tell me if the ipad stand would work with a case on? Such as the Logitech keyboard case?

Hey Chris! Can you do a iPad Stand comparison video? Like all the different ipad Stands you tested and rank them?
Got my amazing magnetic iPad stand on amazon for $80, all metal, feels amazing, infinity angle also…
This is really intriguing.
All these iPad stands look great.
But can someone PLEASE make one that has Smart Connector pins and a USB-C power input on the back?
Can you get these in the uk ?! I love this whole set ❤
At 01:47, I noticed that iPad Pro rubs against the metal base. Is that how it it is?

Ever tried a magnetic monitor arm for ipad? Curious. To move and head height and less space. And to try write on? Curiosity

can anyone compare to the charjenpro? torn between the two and charjenpro seems like it has a much smaller footprint. which is sturdier?
Another excellent review! Going to check out the phone and iPad stands. The new 16" iPad? Thanks!
Is it true that the magnets these LAB22 iPad stands when the IPad is used vertically?
Definitely getting this!
Nice keyboard what's it's called?

Hi, it exist, verify Herman Miller VESA arm with tablet support. It is really nice and useful.
The new PlayStation Plus Ellie headphones has a charging port in the headband now! I guess you called it

Great concept and presentation one question is does the fact that stand is magnetic does it have any ill effect on the ipad's circuitry etc?
thnbaks for the concept i will print it

No compatibility for iPad 10th Gen?
Why not for the ipad 10.9 inch 10th gen ( --> NOT AIR )? Are the placements of the magnets different? Will it not stick? Thanks :)
Will this work well with samsung ultra tablet?
I’m a kickstarter backer for these and updates/support from the developers has been severely lacking. If I could have removed my pledge I would have.

would using a Pitaka Mag Ez on my ipad prevent it from sticking to this?
Why are the 11” ones the same price as the 12.9” ones?
What mouse do you use for the ipad? Mine is very sluggish on the screen and I can’t figure out how to speed up the movement.

🎉🎉🎉WoW awesome

there @1:47 looked like you hit the corner of the iPad rightly hard on the stand trying to rotate it. that's not great for the price
Please link out to ways to purchase these things. Ps are you defaul Apple guy. Apple Maps and Apple Mail and Apple reminders.
I just wanna know the widgets and tabs you have on your home screen 🤤
If the items are made in USA and quality is optimal is worth the price
cool i will print it in 3d model
I think my only complaint with it is that there is no laser etched peach on the base.
Honestly valid.
