Well you should have gotten educated enough not to come in this game at the worst time and thus continue to contribute to awful rates and earners vs the past. Now Company jobs are paying better than what many of you earn in a year minus expenses with less responsibilities

I'm so happy for you. I myself purchased a tractor and a trailer in April. The only difference is mine is a 2016 Freighliner Cascadia and my brother will be my driver. One time for all the ladies out here in a heavily dominated man industry. Good luck on your journey.

I've owned and operated 5 trucks in my 11 years so far. The truck doesn't matter if you're just hauling a dry box or reefer, now if you decide to switch to open deck then yea get a different truck, but your international is fine for your first truck.
Whenever negativity you get .. keep stepping forward .. You are ahead than most .. keep grinding

Hi just seen your channel. Congratulations on your truck. I heard you say your thinking of getting a dash cam. Yes. Get at least 1 immediately! No joke on this. People will try and break check you for no reason or for whatever other reason that could cost you thousands. Im just a company driver the day I got my dash cam a guy deliberately cut in my lane and brake checked me. I hit him. He had a Corolla. It was a tap to me but his car was wrecked. The cop saw my cam and let me go NO ticket!! He tried sueing me for injuries again the cam saved me. So yes please get a cam asap. Drive safe.

It’s the engine that matters most and Cummins is a good engine, freightliners can have them too, that’s why I’d go freightliner or international before kenworth or peterbuilt, paccar engines are junk and parts are expensive, you made a good choice

Yes, I’ve heard that about internationals but I got what I could. Hopefully, everything works in my favor and don’t have too many breakdowns/issues. I have a warranty so I should be ok.

Those single tires can be run over the DO😊t Scales with 40 psi with out them looking flat carrying a load. That's why I like em

As a mobile semi tire tech wide bases are a terrible tire to run there only honestly good on a trailer 295/75/22.5 would be your best bet or 11r22.5

P.S. if you lease on to a trucking company or get brokered loads from a load brokerage firm,make sure they don’t short change you on your pay bcuz any chance they get,they will,I tried being a Owner/Op about 12 yrs ago & lost my ass financially from a crooked boss to where he put me in financial ruin so bad I lost my home over it which made me homeless & I’m still trying to recover from that mess,& make sure you have good financial backing that you don’t put yourself in a bind and lose your truck,as I said in the first comment good luck & keep safe,stay blessed and beautiful young lady
Congratulations. I'm currently driving a 2018 international. Yes it gets a bad rap from most truckers but I like it. Haven't had any issues with it. It's a truck I'm borrowing until I get my own truck. Just waiting for the market rates to increase. How much are your truck payments? Are u leasing onto a company or getting your own authority? I've been with landstar for 3yrs. Doing ok in this low rate market.
