One of my fav UA-camrs in my fav park!! Thanks so much for visiting Lagoon and giving us this video ❤️ I don't get to visit frightmares this year because I am recovering from surgery so it was very nice to see some of what I am missing. Bummer they were being so weird about filming though
I'm just glad we have something in Utah. I also hate the no filming thing, they are very strict. The one good thing is, frightmares isn't a separate ticket, your season pass covers it or your main gate ticket.
The parts you got to show of the Halloween event look really fun. Those bumper cars are practically Mr. Toad cars! And the Dracula's Castle ride vehicle still reminds me of a DeLorean (22:30).
So nice to enjoy the evening out with your Sister & her Husband. Enjoyed seeing all 3 of you along with various areas of the park. Wonderful place. More on a calmer side for a haunt. My last time on the bumper cars, I don't believe it ever went backwards. That was at Kennywood in West Mifflin, Pa. back in 98ish. I really enjoyed meeting your family Adam.
The part of Pioneer Village that you said would be a good scare zone usually is dressed up for Frightmares. The last few years they had a zombie torso that would crawl in the grass near the chapel.
One of the top scariest things you can go through in a haunted house is airbags. The pumpkin patch was cool I love all the designs on the pumpkins and the way it was like walking through a pumpkin tunnel. You know I bet bumper cars would be funner if the cars went faster and the dark ride's animatronics are awesome.
Lagoon’s Wild Mouse is made by Maurer-Sohne, Goofy’s Sky School is a Mack arises creation. Just minor variations in the layouts. It’s been 10 years since I’ve been to Lagoon. This video shows I need to get back soon! Thanks for your great vids. Always fun watching your travels!
I literally live 10 mins away from Lagoon, and I almost went yesterday... I'm so sad that I missed possibly getting to meet you. Dracula's Castle & The Terror Ride are so cheesy but I love them both so much. Glad you had fun. 😊 P.S. the drink place is Fiiz (fiz,) those types of drink shops have popped up all over UT, I'm guessing because so many LDS people here who don't drink alcohol. So according to my LDS friends those are the "Mormon bars" lol.
I think the two rides are soooo cheesy XD (Scary when I was little) but that is why I love them. I think Lagoon has kept them for so long because of the nostalgia...I hope they never get rid of them. yeah you're right it seems in some areas they did well and some areas not so much about the haunted houses . i thought on the 2nd one there would of been a lot more jump scares for how long it was . they should allowed filiming bc it helps promo the event but what you gonna do . i loved all those lit up carved pumpkins hanging and on the walls that was pretty cool . all my life ive never seen classic bumper cars before that was different . the dark rides were pretty awesome . its the sales deal fine $299 makes people think "well at least it wasn't $300" 😆 . I lost 2 of my only siblings, my little sister and Brother, you're correct on the bond, i miss them very much, plus i lost my Mom in 2021 and my Dad in 2008... have a wonderful day, and please for me, enjoy your siblings and see them as much as you can and say love you, all the one's i lost either died in their sleep or died instantly.. i never got the chance to say love you one last time..

When Adam was first at the skyride looking at the used plot, did anyone notice the dangling legs float by and wonder what kind of decoration/prop it was, only to quickly realize it was someone on the skyride?
I work as a face painter at Lagoon. Everywhere except the kid's area, Kiddie Land, is technically the scare zone. Some years have more prevalent scare actors than others, it seems. One year my sister almost threw hot chocolate in an actor's face over by Colossus. But maybe they had a harder time hiring this year?
So either they don’t allow filming because they’re afraid of being copied or afraid people won’t come out if they see it online. Either one seems a little suspicious. Probably just doing it to do it. :-/
That place reminds me a little of Dollywood. The Halloween decorations are pretty similar. They don’t have a scary event, just a kids friendly type of event there. That house with all of the fog probably would have scared me pretty bad. I would have been screaming a lot. Lol.
They changed the Terror Ride, I remember it used to be kind of lame. I went recently how it is now. Now it is one of my favorite rides. My top 3 have to be 1. Cliffhanger 2. Colossus 3. Wicked

99% of Lagoon employees are under 18 so you can’t film them which means no filming shows or houses. Sometimes you can get a cool employee that doesn’t care if you film on rides but they’ve had a lot of people lose items on the rides so they’re pretty strict about it these days. Fun fact the rat in Terror Ride was put there by my dad when it was built he thought it was funny to place the rat there and they’ve kept it all these years later 🤣 gives our family a chuckle every time we ride through it
I would imagine that there is some other statute stipulating that fines for the class of misdemeanor that spitting or throwing stuff off the ride would be have to be under $300, so they’re fining the maximum amount they can in other words

Question: Every part of the wooden roller coaster has been replaced, a section every year, including the track, and all the cars. Is it still the same coaster?
