    Thanks for much for the tips Daniel!
    Yesterday I could apply the rotation of the elbow and the little upward motion at the beginning to "catch" the ball. For me in order to catch the ball I actually had to hit the ball closer to my body, that's when I had the most feeling and spin. When I used to hit the ball far from the body, I didnt feel the spin and the rubber "eating/carrying" the ball.
    For me right now, the hard part is during match games to have that patience to not hit too soon, and wait for the right moment so I can get the most spin/feeling, but that will come soon :D

      You are right! And playing closer to your body also means that you are able to wait more and swing at once to give spin. One tip if you want to be able to use backhand loop is to give good space to yourself and try to wait. If you are close to the table, you may end up punching or not be able to wait because the ball is not falling yet. The ball should just start to fall and that’s good contact point to catch to practice!!

      I have the exact same problem. It's so hard not to rush the shot.

    May I suggest a further development of this subject? Could you add a part three in which you deals with a real match backhand loop opening during short pushes on heavy backspin balls? That is the most important challenge for intermediate players. In fact in real match the problem is to open short pushes. Thank you for your attention.

    Hi, thank you for these videos, what I really like about them is hearing you and talking through your methods and the breakdown you give more of that please.
    But would you kindly be able to help a problem I have, I’m told my elbow moves to much through a stroke and it tends to come forward which in turn makes me lift no spin balls and they go long. I’m told to just pivot of the elbow but I find it’s not fast enough to hit the ball and my arm gets to tight as I’m holding the bat at table height. By the way these drills are at the table and no spin. I’m great at lifting of backspin as that’s what apparently my stoke does.
    Any help would be much welcome thanks gary

    Sir, excellent video and thanks, i got the feel now, i tried as suggest in previous video. one question is my shoulder muscles gets tight and how to relax the shoulder muscles and speed is also slow, how to increase the speed. if i tried to increase power then shoulder muscles get tight. please suggest some shadow drive or stand along drill to tune the muscles and increase consistency and increase power. Thanks a lot for your valuable guidance always.

      To move the shoulder, you don’t use the shoulder. You need to use core. Then your shoulder can relax. Shoulder is tense when you forcefully try to move arm

      @@roadtopro3038 good to relax shoulder? In another video you said don't relax muscles too much. But that it should be tension free to induce whip action.

    one more thing, at present i am not using wrist to tune elbow rotation first, is it OK and whether is there any wrist movement then please guide. i had made the tendency of wrist as flexion and extension but i think that is wrong. probably there won't be wrist movement and if wrist movement is to be done then it should be abduction and adduction of wrist. please guide if i have understood wrong.

    • @roadtopro3038
      @roadtopro3038  2 роки тому

      No need to use wrist in the beginning, but focus more on the body to make the swing
