Hi coach Daniel, I am from Turkey and found you after many search on internet. I almost watched all of your videos and completed them all. I wonder why you stop publishing new videos? They were very useful and i couldn't find as useful content as yours so you please continue creating new content. Thank you very much..
thank you so much coach, I've been playing for 3 years now, and i was still doing the dumb thing popping it up high with backspin. Now i know how to drop short and keep back spin on it, had no idea that i had to catch it earlier on the bounce.
Hi Coach 5 mths ago you did a vid on tricky serves..where the ability to pick the top and under is very difficult..I dont think there is another vid on the web sharing this info . I asked you then to another showing close ups as the present vid is too hard to pick the minute adjustments ..Can you PLEASE do it again sharing this precious knowledge ..Thanks for sharing 🙏j
@@roadtopro3038 How does that discussion apply to defensive choppers ? It seems as though, the chop a lot when the ball is in the falling phase of the ball. Are the dynamics the same as for a push ? You would think that it would be safer for choppers to chop on the rising or top when the ball is slower, but I guess waiting gives more time, and the accelerating falling ball helps get chopped ball bounce higher and over the net.
In my forehand loops there's always much sidespin. I tried to change the racket angle and to stand lower, but I cant play a loop with pure topspin. What can I do?
It’s actually not that easy to create pure topspin but if you understand the angle and the contact point, it’s not too hard to do so. Like soccer, it’s not easy to not put any sidespin but if you know how to, you can. I will try to go over this topic in a separate video.
Hi coach! sorry if i shouldn't post here but i don't know where. i really appreciate your video. and i would ask if you can show how to beat long pimples ( blocker and maybe chopper) because simples tactics dont' work for me even i watch many video. anyway thanks for your videos.
Just for inverted rubbers have its ways, we understand how the rubbers work and learn the techniques. Therefore it’s important to understand how the long pimples work and learn the techniques and practice first. Once you acquire the necessary skills, then the application comes. For the long pimples, in general you can think few things, 1. Topspin comes back as underspin. 2. Underspin comes back as topspin 3. Always go to their long pimples side as they can’t create strong spin therefore they can not initiate the topspin attack. 4. So, because they can’t attack, don’t try to use power too much where you can make mistake. Rather, use spin to find a good opening. These are first few rules that you need to understand and practice. Good luck.
@@roadtopro3038 thank you for your reply. when i push, the pimple player has this famous attack on backspin ball then the ball go very fast ( may be no spin but very fast) and i cannot catch. of course, he will smash on high ball. so , should i serve no-spin ball? long or short ball? very spiny or light spin? for my play. regards
@@darkenloom1943 long fast topspin serve to long pimples. They can never return topspin, they will always chop. If you give underspin, they can vary the returns, which may give you more difficulties.
@@roadtopro3038 hi daniel! hope you are doing better. it was said that long pimple likes to confuse (ball floating and moving) when playing with sidespin. then his serve has al lot of sidepin ( side-back and side-top). so can I neutralize the sidespin effect from serve?. thank you very much
Hi Coach can I ask about returning heavy side spin serves? I've really been struggling with players who serve heavy side spin serves. When they serve it short my pushes go off almost 90 degrees off the table and when they serve mid long to long I can't control the positioning of my return at all. Any tips/training drills I can use to practice how to play against side spin?
If you do a more offensive push that will end up going further off the table then can't the opponent play more of an offensive loop even if it does drop?
The long deep heavy backhand spin push is very difficult to loop. Usually players have better forehand loop then backhand so if they end up pivoting to loop, just block it back to their forehand. If they don’t loop, they will 99.99% push probably not heavy spin but long which is perfect to attack.
@@Человекмира-у8с whether it’s low or high, you can push right off the bounce to be efficient or at the top to maximize the input energy (converted into spin).
@@roadtopro3038 what you think, when I make backhand topspin on underspin after lifting ball must I press down ball use fingers? Or I make banana on underspin must I make this thing? I many practise multiball and I want to increase my quality
So much valuable information in one video. This video is not only about how to push but the strategy, consequences and physics 😮. Thanks!

can this work vs side spin serves ?
Yes, just change the angle to counter the spin

If serve long, we must long push earlier or top point?
Either is fine when it’s long. But if taking at top, must give strong underspin.
