I think it is a replica of what they think it looks like. IIRC; there are none from that era that still exists.

Well, sort of. It began around roughly 800 AD, in China, where early printing techniques involving chiseling an entire page of text into a wood block backwards, applying ink, and printing pages by pressing them against the block. I’m not sure what prompted for it to be invented.

Today, Digital Printing is done using inkjet and laser printers. There are no set-up costs apart from buying a printer and toner cartridges.

Do you plan to publish it (as on UA-cam or Vimeo)? Or just show in class. Also, how much time do you plan to use? If it is just for school, you are welcome to use it, if you plan to publish the video on UA-cam, I just will need to know how much you plan to use. If it is short, it is not a problem, but if you plan to use most of the footage, probably not.
You take some gooseskin left over from one neighbour from making fois grass, another neighbours winepress, some stamps for each individual letter, add some paper and ink, and you are in business...

Do you mean what was the first thing printed on the press? The first major project was the Bible. Gutenberg did a few small prints of leaflets and such as a test, but the Bible was the first real project.

@@al_cuber Printing type was invented by others, that is correct, but the press (which is really what made the system work so well and made it so successful) was invented by Gutenberg. No one had come up with an idea like the press, and that was what made it work.
One thing ....how he has just printed d words on wooden blocks ....? it was also time taking guys......to print d words on wooden blocks.
