Just scored one of these decks off eBay got like three others plus envelope (I just ordered the 2.O last week but figure I can give the eBay score to a friend) and panic for $20!
Never used a mirage deck before though thanks for enlightening me.

I own a few different types of forcing decks and I really like this one but I’ve misplaced the instructions so I don’t know if you can answer this question or if it doesn’t really matter. If the deck falls and cards go everywhere do I need to have one of the forcing cards on the top of the deck when it’s turned to the back up position?

I don't see any difference between this and a Svengali deck...why get this if I already have a Svengali deck (which I love)?

you don't need to -only buy what you love

With a Svengali Deck you can't fan the cards. He pretty much gives away/describes the principal if you know how an invisible deck works it is the combination of the two. Only instead of blank cards you have force cards. If you don't have an invisible deck you should get one of those too. While you're at it throw in a brainwave deck.

Is this the same as the popper deck?

It's identical to a Mirage deck, and uses the rough/smooth principle, but doesn't have the long/short Svengali element.

This looks like a Spend galley deck that has been rough and smooth, correct?

I believe you meant a Svengali Deck.
