I am a parent who's kids literally grew up through rescue bots. Great show. And it had a different vibe. You get the feeling that autobot chose to fight, and decepticons too. But the rescue bots felt like just run of the mill cybertronians who just want to get back to being regular people somewhere.
I agree, I'm 15 and I still love Rescue Bots! I'm hoping I can get Chase he looks so cool! And I personally love any Transformer that is a type of Emergency responder Like the Rescue Bots are, or Ratchet!
Since Chase got a morden style figure, i'm hoping they complete the whole rescue bots team
Boulder and blades are easy, heatwave would be difficult simply because his legs have to fill out the entire back of the firetruck

Rescue Bots was one of my sons favorite shows when he was younger. I'm a Transformers nut that grew up in the 80s, so I had no problem watching it with him. It's not the best show, but because of the memories of watching this show with my son, I had to pick up Chase. I'll pick up the rest of the Rescue Bots too, if they make them.

Cool review. I completely understand. Although Rescue Bots was an extremely well written show,.if I didn't have kids that were the target audience at the time, I'd never have watched it either. Not all media is designed for all fans, and that's ok.
Exactly my son was 3 at the time and we geeked out DAILY. I ended up loving rescue bots.
This figure to me gives off a very “fighting crime, in a future time” vibe. (Props if you get the reference)

I prefer to think of Chase's light thingies as just lamps. Doesn't feel right giving a gun to a character from a preschool line about saving folks

Rescue Bots were a "Transformers" cartoon aimed at little kids that was aired every morning at Hub network.
Allot parents & teachers at the time thought of shows like "Transformers: Prime" were too violent for 3 year olds so Hub made a non-violent "Transformers" cartoon that's how the Rescue Bots came to be.
The show was allot different than a traditional "Transformers" cartoon there was no Optimus Prime, Bumblebee or any Decepticons at all in the show; all the characters were Autobots like a police car that turns into a policeman which is Chase & a firetruck that turns into a firefighter and they all educate children about lessons in safety like looking both ways before crossing the street, never touch a hot pan on stove without parents permission. That sort of thing.
The original toys for the Rescue Bots were made by Fisher-Price which is Hasbro's branch that makes baby, toddler & preschool toys and they were sold in the baby toys aisle in retail stores next to Mr. Potatohead.
Gonna correct u here season one optimus prime was straight up in it but yes there was no violence now u get into season 2-3 there was violence with a decepticon like foe along with bumblebee pre r.i.d. taking cameos! Very fun show i watched it myself grew up with that on a budget tv broadcasting along with season 1-2 of g1 and transformers prime other characters like grimlock and the dinobots appeared too along with blurr and other characters from r.i.d. as this is apart of the transformers prime universe!
prime and bee both appear throughout the series though? and there was a probably Decepticon aligned minicon not to mention dr. morocco basically filled in for the faction.
My boys love rescue bots. It was their introduction to transformers, they’re now watching Season 3 of G1, Prime, Cyberverse, and RID. But for them it all started with Rescue Bots. So needless to say I got them each a Chase and one for myself and he’s a pretty good figure! I’ll definitely get the others if they make them.
He looks good but this mold definitely lends itself to being a future prime cliffjumper. More I look at it the more I think that lol.

@flamingshowgun9994 Correct. Also...DARN RIGHT. Lol. I wish they would revisit Rescue Bots, and make a version of it meant for older people. It's still a good show, but a lot of people don't give it a chance due to it seeming more childish, which is somewhat unfair. Sure it's goofy at times, but Tf show isn't? Even Tfp has its goofy moments.
Rescue Bots is worth it just for Optimus getting a T-Rex alt mode. Here's hoping Hasbro adapts that into Legacy!

I am pretty much the target audience for this figure lol. I was a little older than who the show was made for but my little brothers watched it and I watched it with them and I loved it, super excited to get my hands on this figure!

One of the easiest ways of describing Rescue Bot Chase:
He is a male version of RiD '15 Strongarm, as he is very "By-the-Book" but more mechanical in personality.
Strongarm is the female version of Chase since Rescue Bots came before RID15
There's really only one thing to say after seeing that one part, that some of you might remember.

What a better way to start the year that with a review of a new toy of one of my favorite TV shows as a kid, I am so happy Hasbro is finally digging into Rescue Bots for generations figures, can’t wait to see what they can do next!
Chase follow by the rules in Cybertonian laws and he is curious of Earth and so on. His human partner is Chief Charlie Burns and one of Heatwave team of Rescue Bots on Earth live with the Burns family on island call Griffith Rock. Hasbro used Chase name from the G1 version Chase turn into a red car in G1 and was in the show only half part of it and G1 The Headmaster. He is one smaller robots call the Throttlebots team, Rescue Bots Chase is the definitive version of characters that fans remember a lot. I do enjoy the show yeah it was for a kids show but reference some Transformers stuff, lores and also that show is part of the Alliance Universe between Transformers Prime and RID2015 as well so yeah. Nice toy can wait for more team members join the United line.
G1 Chase turned into a Ferrari Testarossa, definitely would LOVE a Deluxe of him as well.

My son loved rescue bots. Sadly emgo, it was a bloosh free show. Their drama consisted of rescuing humans. No decepticons.
Just because you don't know his character, he's a practically by the book, all law memorized, and full on and full time cop type of character that does allow himself leeway for learning and gaining new experiences and he doesn't like a cat that always makes a mess in him.
I like the figure and can see him being remolded into Prime Universe Cliffjumper and Throttlebot Chase, we need updated versions of the Throttlebots.
I love Rescue Bots and Chase is spouse to be a Homage to Prowl

I know of the character but nothing about him. Still I'm kind of digging getting "big kid" versions of some of the more kid friendly franchise characters. Like Strongarm last year. As a big Gee-Wun guy I'm loving all this alternate universe love we're getting. Had to add a shelf just for the Unicron Trilogy, Animated and ETC. stuff we've gotten.
Basic rundown is that he's largely a by the books cop who takes his job a rescue worker seriously. He's also not big on humor but he works on it, also he's a triple changer (he can become dino)
I can see ToyHax making this a cartoony TLK Barricade with some some face, window, & faction insignia decals.
The hand joint may be part of the pre-tooling?
Whether it ends up being Prime Cliffjumper or some iteration of Lockdown.
I've found after getting him that the fiddly windshield transformation bit is actually mitigated a bit. There are tabs in the windshield that sit in slots on the arms, so if the windshield moves out of place while putting the arms in, it will usually reset itself once the arms are in place, with only minor manual movement.
I never get sick of the bloooosh. Cracks me up every time

I think Chase is pretty solid! He looks pretty good! & I've watched the 1st 2 eps of Rescue Bots somewhat recently & I was pleasantly surprised. The show is by far not for me & I'm not sure if I'm gonna continue it, but for a show targeted towards younger audiences, its a surprisingly competent show. Its not for me the same way as TFP, TFA, G1, BW, etc etc are, but its actually pretty good for what it is! I hope we can get the rest of the main Rescue Bots to go with Chase here, especially Blades, who is my top fav character from the show, mainly from design alone. I just love his design! Rescue Bots has alot of banger designs! Blades could easily be a Deluxe, while Boulder & Heatwave can maybe be Voyagers, cuz of their alt-modes (firetruck & bulldozer). I can just see them both being Voyagers. & Chase is the 2nd RB character in Legacy, the first being Medix. & Emgo, I recommend watching at least the first 2 eps of RB just to get a better idea of the show & characters, even if it might only help a little. & again, the show isn't that bad for what it is.
Another thing, Rescue Bots literally has ZERO right to have an intro that is THAT catchy! Seriously, its super catchy!

I personally find a bit weird that the package says that Chase is from the Rescue Bots universe when it should say that he's from the Prime universe, sense Rescue bots and Prime are settle in the same universe.
Maybe they're counting the aligned series separately? Like by your logic strongarm should also sport prime universe
They are counting separate shows frkm the same universe separately. We have gotten both Armada Universe and Cybertron Universe toys in Legacy already, and they are releasing an Energon Universe Megatron.
Isn't war/fall for cybertron supposed to be aligned too?
@@gabrielchee8470 I personally don't count RID15 as 100% canon to TFP, only partially canon. So, I'm fine with Strongarm's box not saying Prime Universe.

I not nothing bout RB but I do know a neat transformation scheme when I see one & this guy certainly has one.
Also, Emgo's MASK comment made me realise that Stealth Force was just MASK with a TF paint job, man those were neat, had a couple including the big Prime
If ur not 18+ i would def suggest watching it season one gets a bit boring but action does appear season2+ ! I severely enjoyed this show while i was younger and sadly never got too finish it planning on rewatching it soon as this reminded me of the show

My son grew up with Rescue Bots, and still has all of them, but he's 12 now and he was excited when I told him about this. It finally came and he loves it! But I liked Rescue Bots too, so I just got one of my own, and it's cool. But did you find that the shoulders were loose? They were on mine, so I tightened the screw in his chest (it was really loose!) and now they're much better. Not perfect, but better.
Now they need to make the Others Rescue bots.

I did see a few episodes of Rescue Bots, but no, I was no fan either, too juvenile for me. But I did like the musical episode, it had some interesting songs on that one.

I cant wait for this to be retooled into somebody cooler. Lockdown, Cliffjumper, whatever they do. Great mold, no connection to the character.
