Happy to know that they chose not to do that and realized what the show should be. They actually confirmed, that both Karen and Foggy are gonna be in the show and they hired some good people. They actually have a showrunner, they got the directors of Loki and more. Here is joping it's gonna be great
I want Karen to come back. Her and Matt's chemistry is unmatched and her eventual death is what propels Daredevil's story to even greater heights. That period in the relationship needs to be covered in the live-action.
Also they need to being back Wilson Bethel as Bullsdye, that was godtier casting
No, I hope they don't recreate any of their deaths in the live action series. They should come up with other creative ways to propel him to greater depths.

Man I am sooooo glad they cancelled it, most of what you outlined sounds assssss. It makes me optimistic for Born Again bc the fact that they were willing to rehaul the show and scrap so much of what they already shot shows they actually care about quality here, which is a relief to me. I know Jon Bernthal said he'd only return if he feels the Punisher is done right, which also is a win for me. Ngl tho, I have a lot of trepidation based on the fact they haven't said Foggy and Karen will return, and they were so central to Matt's character in the Netflix series.
I first subscribed to you back when you posted that video about your convo with Charlie Cox saying that he'd be in NWH, and at first I thought "oh, this guy is just saying all that for veiws, no way this actually happened," but then I watched NWH and was like "oh that guy is legit!"

I hope it means they are bringing back original actors that were reportedly recast like Vanessa and Elektra.
Saw all episodes of Echo. I give it to MCU. With Echo, the cinematography, framing, pacing and fight sequences felt almost like Netflix Daredevil series. But what is really lacking is a gritty screenplay. And Disney's influence is still there, especially in the final episode. I mean, when you are making an adult series, make it 100% adult. Don't add unnecessary children pleasing elements. Echo season finale clearly shows why DD Born again was cancelled and reshot entirely.

The original idea for the upcoming series would have made it more like Matlock instead of Daredevil.
From what I heard; Feige wasn't a fan of the Marvel Television stuff. He never considered any of that canon. He was just going to use the same actors but reboot everything. If they are making them canon now, it was a last-minute thing.

I know we all love Vincent Donofrio, but i feel like the show needs to move on from Fisk. The Entire 1st and 3rd season revolved around him and they finally took him down and sent him back to prison. If he escapes a second time and this reboot is mostly about him it's gonna start feeling EXTREMELY repetitive. And that would also water down season 3's ending.
I'm curious about something. How is this canceled it hasn't been aired yet and as far as I know when I Google it it shows that it's being filmed presently

I for one wouldn't mind the wait. I would want to binge the first 9 episodes in one day and enjoy it, end on a cliffhanger, then experience a wait to build excitement for the last nine episodes to binge all at once. Like what Netflix did with Lucifer.

I want just MCU movie with Cox Daredevil, give him honest to God tight all red suit (or maybe it becomes yellow and red under bright bright lights), give him high tech billy club like in Stan Lee OG canon, Foggy, Karen, all gang is there, it is kinda reboot and kinda all N things kiNda sorta happened maybe. And be more serious than average MCU thing but maybe less edgy than N show or maybe some risky thing of it being fun and edgy but also self serious, just Waid inspired or really a culmination of Daredevil canon into singular thing. Meaningless (in terms of stakes) mid or high budget Daredevil movie in the vein of GotG 3 would be great, especially if without all fakeout deaths bs, just some fun with some stakes but keep it safe and without Rick and Morty style writing, how hard can it really be.
And realistically they have no other hero besides Spider-Man that people ctually would go to see in theaters. Just give up and give people fun stuff finally.

I'm confused. I literally heard something a long time ago about a lot of this was going to be more like a legal drama. But they had filmed Nine episodes how do you scrap something after filming Nine episodes? That's like them spending years trying to hide the Star Wars Christmas Special.
I know for a fact there is a bootleg GI Joe movie as an example it kept turning up on eBay about 14 years ago on VHS I don't know if it was done by a bunch of film school students or what but it was bad it looked like a bunch of people from a comic book convention dressed up as the characters from the cartoon and it started turning up on eBay long before they ever did a live action movie.
You're telling me there's Nine episodes of this thing filmed and they're just going to dumpster it and hope nobody ever finds those episodes and releases them on the Internet? Do you know how many Marvel disasters there are that have repeatedly made their way on to the internet and then been deleted the very first Fantastic Four live action movie as an example. I keep hearing rumors of their being a very very very very very bad horrible Batman movie that people have seen pieces of where it made its way onto the internet on various pirate websites and got yanked that was filmed somewheres after the 1989 Batman some of the rumors are the movie was unfinished and what was filmed got released on the internet a few times. I still remember the Star Wars Christmas Special being practically an urban myth till I seen pieces of it myself aired at a convention a few years ago and people telling me lucasfilm had been fighting to keep this off the internet and anytime somebody would upload it on UA-cam it would very quickly get yanked. I thought it was literally something some college students had done in the 1970s till I seen Mark Hamill and part of it and I was like oh my God this was actually done by a television network and they got away with it and even had Mark Hamill in it. There's been a handful of Justice League live action television series by the way that anybody reading this would tell me don't exist and I don't think they're even on UA-cam they were done on small time American television networks in the 90s the shows were about the Justice League and Superman one of them was called young Superman or something like that it had like 9 or 10 episodes there was a really bad Justice League series that had at least six episodes that I know of back in the early 90s then there were television series like mutant X birds of prey, Nick Fury agent of shield the movie, the very first live action X-Men movie yes there was a live-action X-Men movie several years before the one everybody knows about it even got out on VHS at one point I have a VHS copy of it around here somewhere is from Fox. Fox did a series of live action Marvel movies that were made for television in the early 90s one of them was fantastic for from what I understand the Fantastic Four one was never even intended to be publicly released and it's surfaced on the internet several times the Human Torch was only in the movie for like 2 minutes or less in the entire movie it was that bad. I've seen chunks of that movie but never seen the whole turkey. I think it even had the Silver Surfer ironically despite being horrible. I've seen like I said the very first live X-Men movie and Nick Fury agent of shield which stirred get this David Hasselhoff as Nick Fury let that sink into your brain for a minute David Hasselhoff as Nick Fury I'm surprised there wasn't any cameos by kit the insult injury is the movie actually wasn't bad and was meant to be a pilot for a series that never got picked up. Can you imagine what kind of Bizarro Universe we'd be in today if there was a Marvel Agents of Shield with David Hasselhoff as Nick Fury.

now the reshoots makes sense, and i think i will be trash, they filmed scenes with karend and foggy and a probably "foggy death" by bullseye, they already said that they will use old scripts and material that they already filmed, looks like the first three episodes will be the reshoots, probably good material until everything goes to shit when they use the material that they already have.
The original Vanessa was brought back and Murdock Associates was completely dropped. They are going to mix the old and new material. Im guessing Foggy will be injured, but I doubt dead. He’s an important character to Matt.
