As a disabled person, both in the series and the comics, Daredevil is my favourite superhero, the writers have exactly the right attitude to writing a disabled superhero
Same, from the moment in the netflix show scene where Vanessa asks him why he would ever need a painting in his house and he's basically like 'Because I like to fucccccccccccccck' I'm in. I love that first issue of Zdarsky's run which is basically the same deal 'WHAAAA blind people can't be in shady bars' 'Nah, I like it'

Zdarky is one of best writers at Marvel and his Daredevil run is so great!

The temperature of this video is very warm and I love it. The red lights and the brown couch coupled with the soft focus of the camera give the video a very cozy feeling. Also, the audio is very full and buttery. Effortless swagger my friend, ComicPop is the epitome of quality content.

Spider-Man is the Superman of the Marvel's Street level heroes(One of the best parts of Marvel) He has all faults of man but still has a code that sticks to that most of us wouldn't ❤💙👍🏾
I love how well written spiderman is in this run, hes treated with such dignity, respect and put on the pedestal that the character should be, its like hes superman with how daredevil describes his unbreakable code and morality and how hes the best of them it nearly brought me to tears reading it for the first time
Any chance we can get another Back Issues for Daredevil? Maybe more stories from runs like Frank Miller, Brian Michael Bendis, Ed Brubaker, and Mark Waid?

I've never been a Daredevil reader, though I enjoy all of his Back Issues episodes. And I've almost bought the Miller run a few times, but just never have. This story is the one that did it. Here we go! Thanks, Sal
The miller run while great isn’t needed for modern Daredevil. Id actually say read Guardian Devil, Then Bendis’ run, Waids run, soules run, and then this :) thats what i did
They also did the sight thing in the 80s where the Beyonder wants to put Nelson & Murdock on retainer to legally take over the world; he gives Foggy a million dollars and Matt his sight back. Matt reneges on the deal to get his sight back because of his sense of justice and integrity.
Daredevil is my favorite marvel character, this video was awesome.

I love the fact that Frank Castle saved DareDevil due to a misunderstanding that he believed Double D had started killing criminals.
Also, I’m convinced that Castle is similar to the Joker in the sense that he believes other heroes will be Iike him if they just had that one bad day.
Dudes this may be my favorite episode and I'm not even a huge DD fan. What a great story

Imo while I’m definitely biased as I’m a huge DD fan, but Daredevil is one of the most consistently well written characters and Chip’s DD run is one of the best runs we’ve had in a long time. That’s not taking away from Soule’s run, but Chip’s run is fantastic

“It’s possible Matt has never known what Punisher’s whole esthetic is” was the funniest twist in a comic I’ve heard in a while
Just picked this trade up at my comic shop because of Sal’s recommendations. Zdarksy has somehow gotten me more interested in both Howard the Duck and Daredevil.
Sal, as a native of Chicagoland, your "I dont want a whole meal from one slice of pizza" line had me laughing for five minutes.
This isn’t actually the first time Matt has taken a life in canon continuity. In Miller’s “Man Without Fear” he killed a few thugs and he killed again in “Born Again.” I believe Zdarsky even has a small dialogue reference to this in either volume 1 or 2, with Matt saying he made some mistakes in his past or something along those lines.
Wait who did he kill in Born again? Cause the Patriot guy (forgot his name) is still alive.
James C If I’m not mistaken he was directly responsible for the death of the helicopter pilot that was flying Nuke around.
Superhero Edits oh shit maybe i know miller had matt kill a guy in man without fear and in Yellow he killed a guy by giving him a heart attack. But its so strange cause those are two different origins and now with “one more DD-day” we have a third origin

At this point i dont believe daredevil could ever be mortally wounded...the man was dragged from a sickle and chain...through the chest! Thats on jason vorhees level.

Great vid. The Daredevil books have been so good but this run is so good it makes it easier to forget Season 3 ended 2 years ago. Hope Daredevil and Charlie Cox get to join the MCU in Spider-man 3

The Punisher issue is phenomenal, I don’t read Daredevil but I’ve seen the show and I loved the episode on the roof.
I wasn't the fan of him killing someone but the execution was perfect
You've read my mind with this. Im currently rewatching the netflix series and about to start this run.
As far as I can recall, the only people Daredevil has ever killed were those guys in the helicopter during Born Again and Bullseye during Shadowland. The helicopter scene was a very special situation and Matt didn't intend to kill anyone but had to stop nuke and the Bullseye kill wasn't even him. So this book very well may be the first time Matt has actually killed someone which is really impressive considering he debuted in the 60s.

Well there is the Man Without Fear mini by Miller/Romita Jr, when he did kill someone in self defense and acidentally another. But that mini's place in canon has always been iffy.
I knew I would love this story I can't wait to but this freaking book I cheered out loud multiple times during this episode thanks for another great recommendation 🙌🏻🙌🏻

This is my favorite Marvel title currently on the market. Chip Zdarsky might just be the best writer Marvel has right now.

This current run of Daredevil and Spider-Man are the best things Marvel has put out in years. Only two books worth reading right now in my opinion.
I’m sure it’s a great run and I’ll check it out when it’s finished and all in trades, but we need more runs like Mark Waid’s imo

That breakdown of who Spider-Man is in Daredevil’s eyes (so to speak) is AMAZING! Spidey is my #1 favorite hero and that was so dope! Spider-Man is so dope!
I like how the author remembers that Kingpin is a Spider-Man villain so came up with a way to have the Kingpin target him but also not affect the main Spider-Man comics.

I am a longtime DD fan. This run has been able to challenge Matthew in ways that do not make him act outside his character while still giving a new and exciting status quo. I am having a blast reading through it and watching this video. I hope there will be more.

But here’s the thing Matt, has killed someone before it was indirectly but he still caused the Fixer to have a heart attack when Matt was a child and it didn’t effect him, just a minor thing I saw maybe he could have used that in this issue but eh, still a fantastic issue and run
