You are supposed to connect the black one to the metal part of the car body and not directly to the battery if you are jump starting with another battery. In the case of a charger, you can connect directly as shown in the video

Sunderdeep Ji, you need to press the Mode button to switch between modes. That way you can select the mode from Bike to Car. I too have this model and it has a system wherein it remembers the last setting. I believe you must have used it earlier to charge the bike battery, so it has kept that in memory and started again in that mode. It is mentioned there in the manual which came with this Battery Charger.🙏🏼😊

I don't know whether mine is faulty, it doesn't around icons. The mode is lighting blue
