VW /Skoda doesnt need turbo engine both the Cars have excellent stability/Handling which other Cars like seltos /Creta have worst stability . Even handling is an issue in Creta/Seltos . What is use the If u have all disc brake in Hyundai Tucson if apply very sharp sudden braking , vehicle will wobble /it may topple . Worst stability in Hyundai/kia . This fellow is crap

Maine kal hi nai Kushaq 1.5 DSG ghar lai. Yeh meri first car hai. I made my decision after watching all your videos and felt confident to go ahead and purchase. Lately I realised that driving dynamics and engines should be the first priority.
I guess that is why the customers are increasingly choosing to run after tin can cars with naturally aspirated engines instead of Turbo charged engines, sorted dynamics, best in class safety and maximum wheelbase.
@@JainArpitPeople don't trust Skoda-VW. They have great products but their reputation is in the gutter. They're known for unreliability and bad customer support. I'm not saying VW has those issues but that's how the brand is perceived in India. They also have limited reach so a lot of people who don't have a VW showroom nearby would never consider their products simply due to horror stories of unreliability.

Their imported vehicles are imported parts and there was a delay in fetching the parts upon their breakdown. There wasn’t any other concern or any bad customer service on offer. In smaller towns, even Maruti takes 7 to 10 days time to fetch the spare parts. Don’t go by what the popular influences Are saying about the old forgotten things. Apply your mind and understand. These are just the negative market forces at Play.
I agree to the point you mentioned about size…Taigun/Kushaq looks and feels closer to sub 4m segment rather than above 4m, dimensions should be fixed immediately, also other high selling points can include panoramic sunroof and a good audio system with 360 camera…customer can’t compromise on these basics…everything else is sales multiplier
vw/skoda needs some updates but i think their primary focus is good drive + great build. the market sentiment here focus i think is more on feature/gimmicks or mileage which is why kia/hyundai/maruthi are successful despite of questionable build qualities. on the other hand tata and mahindra build quality is great and engines are decent too…so id compare vw/skoda to them. Having said that, yea reasonable updates to some features would make their price point more attractive

I have bought Kushaq 1.0AT last year and driven 16k km till now. Car is fabulous but given a chance to buy again for same cost I would chose Elevate today. Reasons 1. Air leakage inside cabin, even when AC is OFF 2. AC performance in peak summer 3. Rattling and squeezing noise 4. High assesories and part cost 5. Low resale value 6. AC touch panel is risky to operate while driving. 7. Interior doesn't look premium 8. Look small on road 9. Manual gearbox isn't smooth

Very true “kuch chije zaroori nehi India hai toh India jaise he ho”. India market is demanding and competition is growing if VW wants to be in the market they have to give more good feature. In t-roc 2021 they removed lot of good feature which are now in almost all Indian Cars. I feel sad that those features were removed by saying this is not used in India market and are not required on Indian roads. But I am still happy with my t-roc because of its practicality some features are missing but still I am happy.
My wishlist: 1. They should provide colour changeable ambient light and virtual cockpit. Infact virtual cockpit colours are changeable through coding so whats stopping vw to just enable it through software. 2. Hardware AC controls are available in T Cross (taigun) in foreign markets. So they can just lift the hardware from there at no extra cost. 3. They should raise the seat belt receiver unit. Its very hard to put on seat belt for heavy passengers. 4. They should try to develop an ecosystem for accessories. They should launch accessories store through their website where consumers can directly purchase the accessories. Indian love accessorising their cars. It will provide an additional marketplace for skoda/ vw too. 5. They should add a padding at the corner of rear seats just like they provide in Skoda Kamiq in europe. It would provide a little more confortable seating to rear passengers. 6. They should provide LED setup in fog lamps too. Yellow fogs although are better for sure but it just downgrades the front modern look of kushaq. They do provide white fogs in Kodiaq. 7. They can provide autonomous self parking in these cars. It would really differentiate them from the segment and add that wow factor too. Lastly, I just hope the retrofitting culture like polo starts in kushaq/ taigun too so that current owners have option to add latest features as per their wish.

Brilliant analysis as usual Paaji 💯🤘🏻 Skoda-Volkswagen both cars from them Taigun/Kushaq no doubt require major upgrade as highlighted. The international face-lift is already out with major upgrade and design change known as T-Cross and interior changes as well. Agreed that they should improve on many quality points in terms of fit and finish especially in interiors. If they do not give ADAS as well its fine but 360 degree camera fit & finish improvement and features of polo that they have taken out should be brought back in. Also now Skoda VW will announce their plan on 27th Feb about their products and plans. They are open to partnership and already Mahindra & JSW are in race for buying stake for EV business. Volkswagen already is working on Low cost EV headed by Skoda. Secondly the sub 4 meter SUV which is being again built on MQB-A0-IN platform I read only Skoda will come in that segment Volkswagen might enter or may not enter that segment. I feel Volkswagen should also enter the segment. And they can also spawn a hatchback. The tax rule in which they can bring in 2000 units of cars from outside India like they brought in T-ROC earlier. I feel they should try to sell Skoda Scala with 1.TSI that would do Amazing stuff for them if the price comes on right point. 💯🤘🏻

Great video Paaji! Absolutely agree with all your points. Regarding 6 airbags, last year while purchasing car, we extended our budget for Topline model. Today a customer looking for sedan might consider Verna over VW twins as the former has 6 airbags from base variant and both the offerings are 5 star rated. (a general person might not have much knowledge about unstable bodyshell)
The only reason I am not wiiling to buy any new SKODA/VW is the Indianisation, It left all the german interior build charm it has in KAROQ which is my daily driver. I agree with each and every point as it is not coping up with the competition, Please SKODA VW listen to him and I will get one for sure.
As a taigun owner, I will add these: 1. Improvements in interior plastic quality and design, especially ac vents. It doesn’t seem upmarket at all. 2. Change in window motors which presently are noisy and slow. 3. Good horn 4. Improved NVH levels (better sound insulation) 5. Powerful led headlights and fog lights.
TBH i wrote and open letter to SAVWI an open letter as a group enthusiast and an existing to owner to let them know that this is what is missing in India 2.0 cars and eventhough i got an acknowledgment but they seem to be not keen with product lineup upgrades. As per me the list could be as below: Must Haves: 1. All Disc Brakes 2. Front and rear sensors 3. Better Plastic 4. Better Boot Carpet Lining 5. In built hood cover (mid to top) 6. All windows roll up down 7. Best in class Headlights 8. Better seats and cover 9. Air bases suspension and not gabriel oil based 10. button based control 11. Underbody cover 12. Blade Wipers 13. Tinted Glass 14. Better Horns Optional: 1. ADAS (practically we don't need for India) 2. 360 degree camera 3. rear sensor wiper 4. headlight washer 5.better alloy wheel design Cherry on cake 1. Great video. On the size comment, I feel there are also a lot of people who buy the Taigun for its current size - small, compact and solid with good ground clearance. This without compromising driving dynamics. The biggest perception issue about VW is their after sales. It's a hit or miss. Either you are lucky or you are not.

I don't know about the recent updates of the car, but I would add another must have feature in this car and that is TPMS (Tyre Pressure Monitoring System) which I think is a must have feature in this segment of car. I hope Vw/skoda takes this man seriously if not other customers. This man single handedly contributed so much in the imoroved no of sales figures of VAG cars in India. Another feature that I would love if vw can give us is the: sun blinds on the rear doors n on the rear parcel tray for the rear windshield n a all beige seat upholstery like it was in the vento. I seriously miss those premium cabin feel.
I drove skoda slavia.. only because of lack luster interior, it doesn't feel premium.Then, I selected Jeep compass FWD diesel automatic. Just loved the overall package.
Planning to buy top model virtus.....but look at top model's price difference... Verna top model with ADAS -2 is 21 lac... virtus top model costs 23.5lac.....without ADAS....both cars have 5 star safety..... Why should I buy virtus over Verna....which is without ADAS and costs me 2.5lac extra??????

I got a Skoda Slavia 1.5 MT last month purely because driving dynamics, engine and the fun to drive factor was a priority for me... The only required feature for me was auto folding orvm's and defogger.. But considering an average indian customer, based on the price , the car does miss important features... For someone upgrading from a smaller car, atleast 1. front parking sensors should come as standard, 2. 6 airbags as standard now that it comes in Sonet base models.... 3. A/C controls units should be manual instead of touch... 4. Fit n Finish are still a concern. 5. The service and dealership experience should be LARGELY CHECKED.. I had requested for some minor accessories like aluminium paddle and it's been 1.5 months they still don't have it...

Sunderdeep ji, I have a few points to contribute as a recent Kushaq style 1.5 dsg owner. Driven 5K kms in a span of 45 days and now few things have come to light. 1.Build quality can be great from safety perspective but from day to day driving point of view, i keep getting khach khach sound from door panels and touchscreen area, which is unacceptable from a car of this price. 2. Driver side window up/down is buggy (again a well known issue). Also it makes irritating noise and is very slow. 3. No dedicated call disconnect button, which was present in my baleno of half price. A button which says Button without function on click is a joke in today's world, ideally it should have been user configurable. 4. Car can be locked even if fuel lid is open. 5. As you mentioned, touch panels for AC is very odd coming from a company which focuses on driver safety. Overall i can live with all these, because I simply love driving this car and nothing comes anywhere close to that. But if VAG wants to increase their sales then acc to me, they should focus on fixing all these issues/bugs along with bringing new features.
I wish you should have added the small issues that crop up immediately after buying a Skoda in the "Must" segment.. Am also a Skoda Lover, and to compete here, they shall ensure that all those unnecessary small troubles shouldn't be troubling its customers.
Agree with you. These cars are matchless in their price segment and sheer pleasure to drive. However, public perception focuses more on gizmos. Besides, other manufacturers are tweaking their cars to pass safety tests despite having a relatively unstable structure. SAVW really need an updated, fully loaded top model.
Very well said brother even I am a German car lover specially these Volkswagen and Skoda but they really have to understand that they cannot play with just one one competitive edge which is thier build quality because if you are not giving safety features while driving like adas then it won't really help customers getting diverted towards your brand,No matter how useful adas is on Indian roads but still it gives satisfaction to customers for what they are paying. Atleast basic features a 360 degree camera is a must.

All I can suggest to you sunderji is that you have direct contact with head of VW India, you can pass this information directly to him as user expectations. He seems to be a very friendly and open person. Also there is a taigun facelift already available in European market with loaded features. They can bring/ manufacture here. I am proud owner of taigun and love my car no matter what 😊
Fully Agreed Sunderdeep ji, I already have Skoda Rapid 1.6 now want to change or upgrade BUT bcz of the dimensions of Kushaq and Taigun against Creta and Seltos these look smaller. requesting VW group now its time to increase the size of the Kushaw and Taigun series..Indian customers need this now and I hope huge number of customers are waiting for this change..
Great video! It's unlikely VW/Skoda would listen, though. I might be in a minority, but I like smaller cars because of ease of manoeuvrability and parking.
My Polo GT TDI has lived 10 years, still strong, and because of that I am wishing to get an upgrade from it next. I can't go down from here. I can't leave the features I am already having. Please make this happen VW, please bring the updates to your cars and god promise I will buy new one from you.

I love there design I still loves rapid although I have slavia 1.0 style NSR but whenever I see rapid on the road I just love it and as the slavia came it just becomes a hit. Those who goes for funky design cars, then Germans are not meant for them. The true Škoda VW lovers wants a timeless design and an update after 5-6 years. My slavia turned 2 years now and I think it is beautiful than all other cars verna, city, seltos etc. I just love them and with this design and features I am ready to spend another 5 more years.No need for ADAS now. I just love my slavia as it is
they should have localised a car like Skoda karoq which looks muscular and a proper suv personally i think taigun looks like a jacked up hatchback. other factors like panaromic sunroof which people like should be given and indian people go with engine size ki bo kitne CC ka hai lay man does not get how the turbo performs against more displacement they should give the old 1.2 tsi or 1.5 mpi and also the epc error in beginning made people reluctant do go with the brand
Very valid point about a top top variant to raise the bar. The ₹1.5L premium might be music to their ears and yet they will have their ifs and buts manifested as not doing a thing! In fact, to your point about a highest specced variant, my personal experience of a Kushaq 1.5 DSG Monte Carlo is that it can be built much much better. So don't just be receptive to customer demands/tastes for a refresh, but also stick to your DNA of build and safety (4 disc brakes) at a minimum. Much desired!!
I bought taigun comfortline recently truely a great car..yes there are some cons like suspension is not so smooth. My rear shocker is already creating a noise so there is downgrade in quality not much but lil bit. Still better than the koreans, built quality feels so heavy in vw
Very true point paji, Even I am old user and missing waoo feature which earlier vw gave, specially one touch windows up and down, anti pinch in all, remote opening windows. Specially which no others brand was offering even earlier. MUST NEEDED Signature horn required must. 360 degree camera must Hood insulation sheet, Green tint glass, defogger in outside rear view mirror And trully said by Sunderdeep ji beige interior MUST. These are minute change and basic changes with low cost increase will put impact in market.. Hope vw listen on these facts
Adas I can't comment on, but 6 airbags as standard, rear disc brakes, tint glass (GV top variant has this I guess) and rotary AC knob should be definitely given. 360 degree camera can be an accessory I think because you already have the button for it. Hood insulation and underbody cover together will cost under 5000 bucks. They are not even selling it as an accessory. There's one small game changer I can think of: How about instead of goodyear and MRF tyres, VAG gives an option to upgrade to atleast a brigestone turanza (awesome grip, but noisy) or some Michelin?
great observations and even better how you have concised the needs , as an owner of virtus gt i agree with 99 % of the demands apart from the ADAS one , plus better storage spaces and cup holders , slightly more powerful headlights atleast in top variants , and option to get subwoofer as accessory in older models and if possibe the illuminated VW Logo
Must have feature : fully digital instrument cluster from higher trim international polo / T roc with navigation option . What they are offering in India is a low line unit.
I wanted to buy Taigun. Went to showroom for a test drive after taking an appointment. They did not have the car and promised to send it next day to my house. Did not get the car for test drive for 2 weeks. Booked Elevate with test drive next day after visit without appointment. This was Faridabad VW. So there is more problem besides features.

Bro, I was so in the market for vw taigun/virtus, but being middle class, my mind told me to go with Honda City gen5, as the after sales and maintenance (of taigun/virtus) would put holes in my pocket. That is the only reason, I guess most middle class people don't go for vw/skoda even today.
I owned VW Vento Tdi 1.6 Highline and am completely spoiled by One Touch Up-Down Anti-Pinch All four Power Windows. I didn't find it easier to switch to new VW's without this one feature. Vento is even today no match for Virtus but top notch product

360 degree camera, all wheel disc brake is must. I was told at dealership that after March24 they will be bringing VW branded 360 degree camera as accesories. This emotional appeal should be heard by VW to remain relevant in Indian market.
Good list. The dummy sunglass holder and the dummy headlamp can be replaced with real things. Also even there is manual handbrake, the design could be sleeker and stay horizontal when disengaged.
It is not easy to make a car popular. But once you make it popular (to some extent it is now true for Kushaq, taigun, slavia and virtus), you hold on to advantage and not squander it like Duster (Renault) and Ecosport (Ford). VW/ Skoda are at the inflection point from where they can either further consolidate their market or just squander it. As a Kushaq owner, I hope and pray that former will be true.
Much needed Video, Hope VW top brass are listening, the only reason I am putting off my purchase of kushaq/virtus is due to lack of perceived quality. Needs more improvement to be VFM. Specially the interiors.

I agree definitely with must have features, 4 disk+ parking button is a must, or else they will just add a drum brake within rear disk just to save money and make it complicated futher , instead of lever. Sounds with 4 tweeters and 4 speakers are doable should be 50w a pair.
Great list of points. But whatever be the case. Have driven a Vento for 6 years and Now a Taigun Topline for 6 months or so. Will never buy a car apart from a Volkswagen. Drive quality, refinement and driving dynamics are unmatched

Will buy Taigun top model today, if they have better reverse camera, ADAS, dual zone AC controls. It should get a facelift as soon as possible. I am fan of VW’s build quality, handling and engines so waiting for its upgrade
I think with features they will have to increase prices, maybe something better would be to reduce the price of base model to be more competitive? Also your autofocus is messed up, if you are using a DSLR you can set fixed focus or use a good autofocus camera

@@JainArpitPeople don't trust Skoda-VW. They have great products but their reputation is in the gutter. They're known for unreliability and bad customer support. I'm not saying VW has those issues but that's how the brand is perceived in India. They also have limited reach so a lot of people who don't have a VW showroom nearby would never consider their products simply due to horror stories of unreliability.

Their imported vehicles are imported parts and there was a delay in fetching the parts upon their breakdown. There wasn’t any other concern or any bad customer service on offer. In smaller towns, even Maruti takes 7 to 10 days time to fetch the spare parts. Don’t go by what the popular influences Are saying about the old forgotten things. Apply your mind and understand. These are just the negative market forces at Play.
I agree to the point you mentioned about size…Taigun/Kushaq looks and feels closer to sub 4m segment rather than above 4m, dimensions should be fixed immediately, also other high selling points can include panoramic sunroof and a good audio system with 360 camera…customer can’t compromise on these basics…everything else is sales multiplier
vw/skoda needs some updates but i think their primary focus is good drive + great build. the market sentiment here focus i think is more on feature/gimmicks or mileage which is why kia/hyundai/maruthi are successful despite of questionable build qualities. on the other hand tata and mahindra build quality is great and engines are decent too…so id compare vw/skoda to them.
Having said that, yea reasonable updates to some features would make their price point more attractive
Maruti is not successful because of features. They are successful because of the reliability, ease of service all over India.
Taigun, Kushaq look like they're competing in the Brezza segment but they're charging prices of Scorpio N. Of course they're gonna sell low numbers.

I have bought Kushaq 1.0AT last year and driven 16k km till now. Car is fabulous but given a chance to buy again for same cost I would chose Elevate today. Reasons
1. Air leakage inside cabin, even when AC is OFF
2. AC performance in peak summer
3. Rattling and squeezing noise
4. High assesories and part cost
5. Low resale value
6. AC touch panel is risky to operate while driving.
7. Interior doesn't look premium
8. Look small on road
9. Manual gearbox isn't smooth
I haven't met many who want adas. Most cars of my family and friends always switch it off. But hybrid is what all they want and paid for that.

Very true “kuch chije zaroori nehi India hai toh India jaise he ho”. India market is demanding and competition is growing if VW wants to be in the market they have to give more good feature. In t-roc 2021 they removed lot of good feature which are now in almost all Indian Cars. I feel sad that those features were removed by saying this is not used in India market and are not required on Indian roads. But I am still happy with my t-roc because of its practicality some features are missing but still I am happy.
My wishlist:
1. They should provide colour changeable ambient light and virtual cockpit. Infact virtual cockpit colours are changeable through coding so whats stopping vw to just enable it through software.
2. Hardware AC controls are available in T Cross (taigun) in foreign markets. So they can just lift the hardware from there at no extra cost.
3. They should raise the seat belt receiver unit. Its very hard to put on seat belt for heavy passengers.
4. They should try to develop an ecosystem for accessories. They should launch accessories store through their website where consumers can directly purchase the accessories. Indian love accessorising their cars. It will provide an additional marketplace for skoda/ vw too.
5. They should add a padding at the corner of rear seats just like they provide in Skoda Kamiq in europe. It would provide a little more confortable seating to rear passengers.
6. They should provide LED setup in fog lamps too. Yellow fogs although are better for sure but it just downgrades the front modern look of kushaq. They do provide white fogs in Kodiaq.
7. They can provide autonomous self parking in these cars. It would really differentiate them from the segment and add that wow factor too.
Lastly, I just hope the retrofitting culture like polo starts in kushaq/ taigun too so that current owners have option to add latest features as per their wish.
8. They should provide remote start too. It would be easier during cold start.
9. It should enable auto closing of sunroof when car is locked.

Brilliant analysis as usual Paaji 💯🤘🏻 Skoda-Volkswagen both cars from them Taigun/Kushaq no doubt require major upgrade as highlighted. The international face-lift is already out with major upgrade and design change known as T-Cross and interior changes as well. Agreed that they should improve on many quality points in terms of fit and finish especially in interiors. If they do not give ADAS as well its fine but 360 degree camera fit & finish improvement and features of polo that they have taken out should be brought back in. Also now Skoda VW will announce their plan on 27th Feb about their products and plans. They are open to partnership and already Mahindra & JSW are in race for buying stake for EV business. Volkswagen already is working on Low cost EV headed by Skoda. Secondly the sub 4 meter SUV which is being again built on MQB-A0-IN platform I read only Skoda will come in that segment Volkswagen might enter or may not enter that segment. I feel Volkswagen should also enter the segment. And they can also spawn a hatchback. The tax rule in which they can bring in 2000 units of cars from outside India like they brought in T-ROC earlier. I feel they should try to sell Skoda Scala with 1.TSI that would do Amazing stuff for them if the price comes on right point. 💯🤘🏻

Great video Paaji! Absolutely agree with all your points. Regarding 6 airbags, last year while purchasing car, we extended our budget for Topline model. Today a customer looking for sedan might consider Verna over VW twins as the former has 6 airbags from base variant and both the offerings are 5 star rated. (a general person might not have much knowledge about unstable bodyshell)
The only reason I am not wiiling to buy any new SKODA/VW is the Indianisation, It left all the german interior build charm it has in KAROQ which is my daily driver. I agree with each and every point as it is not coping up with the competition, Please SKODA VW listen to him and I will get one for sure.
As a taigun owner, I will add these:
1. Improvements in interior plastic quality and design, especially ac vents. It doesn’t seem upmarket at all.
2. Change in window motors which presently are noisy and slow.
3. Good horn
4. Improved NVH levels (better sound insulation)
5. Powerful led headlights and fog lights.

Great video. On the size comment, I feel there are also a lot of people who buy the Taigun for its current size - small, compact and solid with good ground clearance. This without compromising driving dynamics. The biggest perception issue about VW is their after sales. It's a hit or miss. Either you are lucky or you are not.
Hi @Sunderdeep sir. After following your channel, I have purchased Skoda Kushaq on 17th Aug 2023, 1.5L Automatic Style variant and I am very happy with the performance of the car.
I don't know about the recent updates of the car, but I would add another must have feature in this car and that is TPMS (Tyre Pressure Monitoring System) which I think is a must have feature in this segment of car.
Rest I really love your channel and because of you I was really determined to buy a Skoda Kushaq.

Another feature that I would love if vw can give us is the: sun blinds on the rear doors n on the rear parcel tray for the rear windshield n a all beige seat upholstery like it was in the vento. I seriously miss those premium cabin feel.
I drove skoda slavia.. only because of lack luster interior, it doesn't feel premium.Then, I selected Jeep compass FWD diesel automatic. Just loved the overall package.

I got a Skoda Slavia 1.5 MT last month purely because driving dynamics, engine and the fun to drive factor was a priority for me...
The only required feature for me was auto folding orvm's and defogger..
But considering an average indian customer, based on the price , the car does miss important features...
For someone upgrading from a smaller car, atleast
1. front parking sensors should come as standard,
2. 6 airbags as standard now that it comes in Sonet base models....
3. A/C controls units should be manual instead of touch...
4. Fit n Finish are still a concern.
5. The service and dealership experience should be LARGELY CHECKED.. I had requested for some minor accessories like aluminium paddle and it's been 1.5 months they still don't have it...

Sunderdeep ji, I have a few points to contribute as a recent Kushaq style 1.5 dsg owner. Driven 5K kms in a span of 45 days and now few things have come to light.
1.Build quality can be great from safety perspective but from day to day driving point of view, i keep getting khach khach sound from door panels and touchscreen area, which is unacceptable from a car of this price.
2. Driver side window up/down is buggy (again a well known issue). Also it makes irritating noise and is very slow.
3. No dedicated call disconnect button, which was present in my baleno of half price. A button which says Button without function on click is a joke in today's world, ideally it should have been user configurable.
4. Car can be locked even if fuel lid is open.
5. As you mentioned, touch panels for AC is very odd coming from a company which focuses on driver safety.
Overall i can live with all these, because I simply love driving this car and nothing comes anywhere close to that. But if VAG wants to increase their sales then acc to me, they should focus on fixing all these issues/bugs along with bringing new features.
I wish you should have added the small issues that crop up immediately after buying a Skoda in the "Must" segment..
Am also a Skoda Lover, and to compete here, they shall ensure that all those unnecessary small troubles shouldn't be troubling its customers.

Agree with you. These cars are matchless in their price segment and sheer pleasure to drive. However, public perception focuses more on gizmos. Besides, other manufacturers are tweaking their cars to pass safety tests despite having a relatively unstable structure. SAVW really need an updated, fully loaded top model.
Very well said brother even I am a German car lover specially these Volkswagen and Skoda but they really have to understand that they cannot play with just one one competitive edge which is thier build quality because if you are not giving safety features while driving like adas then it won't really help customers getting diverted towards your brand,No matter how useful adas is on Indian roads but still it gives satisfaction to customers for what they are paying.
Atleast basic features a 360 degree camera is a must.

All I can suggest to you sunderji is that you have direct contact with head of VW India, you can pass this information directly to him as user expectations. He seems to be a very friendly and open person.
Also there is a taigun facelift already available in European market with loaded features. They can bring/ manufacture here.

Fully Agreed Sunderdeep ji, I already have Skoda Rapid 1.6 now want to change or upgrade BUT bcz of the dimensions of Kushaq and Taigun against Creta and Seltos these look smaller. requesting VW group now its time to increase the size of the Kushaw and Taigun series..Indian customers need this now and I hope huge number of customers are waiting for this change..

My Polo GT TDI has lived 10 years, still strong, and because of that I am wishing to get an upgrade from it next. I can't go down from here. I can't leave the features I am already having. Please make this happen VW, please bring the updates to your cars and god promise I will buy new one from you.
I agree with Sunder ji. I recently visited vw and few other car brands. VW needs to upgrade the product line. Forget korians. Tata\Mahendra are uplifting the games.
I love there design I still loves rapid although I have slavia 1.0 style NSR but whenever I see rapid on the road I just love it and as the slavia came it just becomes a hit. Those who goes for funky design cars, then Germans are not meant for them. The true Škoda VW lovers wants a timeless design and an update after 5-6 years. My slavia turned 2 years now and I think it is beautiful than all other cars verna, city, seltos etc. I just love them and with this design and features I am ready to spend another 5 more years.No need for ADAS now. I just love my slavia as it is
they should have localised a car like Skoda karoq which looks muscular and a proper suv personally i think taigun looks like a jacked up hatchback. other factors like panaromic sunroof which people like should be given and indian people go with engine size ki bo kitne CC ka hai lay man does not get how the turbo performs against more displacement they should give the old 1.2 tsi or 1.5 mpi and also the epc error in beginning made people reluctant do go with the brand

Very valid point about a top top variant to raise the bar. The ₹1.5L premium might be music to their ears and yet they will have their ifs and buts manifested as not doing a thing! In fact, to your point about a highest specced variant, my personal experience of a Kushaq 1.5 DSG Monte Carlo is that it can be built much much better. So don't just be receptive to customer demands/tastes for a refresh, but also stick to your DNA of build and safety (4 disc brakes) at a minimum. Much desired!!
I dropped my plan to buy Virtus just because of these reasons. I have my own list that this video doesn't have though. I already have a Vento.

I bought taigun comfortline recently truely a great car..yes there are some cons like suspension is not so smooth. My rear shocker is already creating a noise so there is downgrade in quality not much but lil bit. Still better than the koreans, built quality feels so heavy in vw

Adas I can't comment on, but 6 airbags as standard, rear disc brakes, tint glass (GV top variant has this I guess) and rotary AC knob should be definitely given. 360 degree camera can be an accessory I think because you already have the button for it.
Hood insulation and underbody cover together will cost under 5000 bucks. They are not even selling it as an accessory.
There's one small game changer I can think of: How about instead of goodyear and MRF tyres, VAG gives an option to upgrade to atleast a brigestone turanza (awesome grip, but noisy) or some Michelin?

Must have feature : fully digital instrument cluster from higher trim international polo / T roc with navigation option . What they are offering in India is a low line unit.
I wanted to buy Taigun. Went to showroom for a test drive after taking an appointment. They did not have the car and promised to send it next day to my house. Did not get the car for test drive for 2 weeks. Booked Elevate with test drive next day after visit without appointment. This was Faridabad VW. So there is more problem besides features.

Bro, I was so in the market for vw taigun/virtus, but being middle class, my mind told me to go with Honda City gen5, as the after sales and maintenance (of taigun/virtus) would put holes in my pocket. That is the only reason, I guess most middle class people don't go for vw/skoda even today.
I owned VW Vento Tdi 1.6 Highline and am completely spoiled by One Touch Up-Down Anti-Pinch All four Power Windows.
I didn't find it easier to switch to new VW's without this one feature. Vento is even today no match for Virtus but top notch product

360 degree camera, all wheel disc brake is must. I was told at dealership that after March24 they will be bringing VW branded 360 degree camera as accesories.
This emotional appeal should be heard by VW to remain relevant in Indian market.
Good list. The dummy sunglass holder and the dummy headlamp can be replaced with real things. Also even there is manual handbrake, the design could be sleeker and stay horizontal when disengaged.
It is not easy to make a car popular. But once you make it popular (to some extent it is now true for Kushaq, taigun, slavia and virtus), you hold on to advantage and not squander it like Duster (Renault) and Ecosport (Ford). VW/ Skoda are at the inflection point from where they can either further consolidate their market or just squander it. As a Kushaq owner, I hope and pray that former will be true.
Much needed Video, Hope VW top brass are listening, the only reason I am putting off my purchase of kushaq/virtus is due to lack of perceived quality. Needs more improvement to be VFM. Specially the interiors.

Improved Hp & torque in 1 L engine at least 134ps 200NM if not possible bring back 1.2 TSI. and NO complaints with 1.5 TSI
Ability to change the dash & ambience light
Sun glass holder
And yeah lastly 360 Camera
I agree definitely with must have features, 4 disk+ parking button is a must, or else they will just add a drum brake within rear disk just to save money and make it complicated futher , instead of lever. Sounds with 4 tweeters and 4 speakers are doable should be 50w a pair.
Great list of points. But whatever be the case. Have driven a Vento for 6 years and Now a Taigun Topline for 6 months or so. Will never buy a car apart from a Volkswagen. Drive quality, refinement and driving dynamics are unmatched

Will buy Taigun top model today, if they have better reverse camera, ADAS, dual zone AC controls. It should get a facelift as soon as possible. I am fan of VW’s build quality, handling and engines so waiting for its upgrade

I think with features they will have to increase prices, maybe something better would be to reduce the price of base model to be more competitive?
Also your autofocus is messed up, if you are using a DSLR you can set fixed focus or use a good autofocus camera

No result after making a complaint to the dealer and VW .
My suggestion is to please this issue before buying
