BYU player was about a mile and a half offside coming back for the ball. She's literally standing on the end line at 4:58. If she had just let 13 keep dribbling instead of taking it off her feet...coulda had a chance. Stole it right from her teammate from an offside position. Good job by the AR though!
4:59. Do you not see the Y player offsides? I do. Ideally plays like this should get video reviewed for surety. But it looks like right call to me. That’s the girl that took initial shot-offsides was called then, not on the rebound; watch for when side judge raises the flag. Sorry BYU. Bummer to end that way. But it looked like the right call.
You can’t see from that camera angle if the ball was touched a second time by a byu player allowing the previously offside shot maker to be onside at the time of the pass. Guess the AR had the better view, but it is hard to tell from the video if offside is the right call or no.
It's hard to see because the ball is hidden behind the scrum of players, but at 4:58 the ball is played a few yard sideways toward the far side of the field, and the attacker on the goal line (in an offside position) runs back to get it and shoots it. She was very much in an offside position when it was last played, so was guilty of an offside offense.

BYU commentator be trippin. The player was 2 yards offside. Not even close.

Proper video review requires a lot of camera angles, this was pretty obviously the correct call except to the commentator apparently.
Wow! I didn’t see an offsides on BYU we they kicked the tying goal. Bad call and sorry for BYU.

Fue posicion adelantada, no hay var 🤔
I don't understand why the goal was not allowed
It's because she came from an off side position and then touched the ball when she came back into the play

Crap call. Should have had a video review and been overturned.
