I chose grass because turtwig was my first partner pokemon. First pokemon game I ever played was platinum. Since then I've always chosen a grass type starter.

@@larahaslach6487 Because people can be really passionate about their teams, just like with sport teams in real life the people watching aren't losing or gaining anything they really like their teams, and for the players the same can be said too as they still get paid the same amount, they just can't bring the championships home.

Fire is my favorite typing, Im choosing sprigatito for scarlet and violet, and the starter type i've chosen most often (and has my favorite starter) is water. Choosing a team was a big internal conflict, at least for me.
Same except I instantly chose Fire and had no regrets
I was in between Grass and Water (grass is my second favorite type and has a lot of very cool Pokémon, plus my favorite pkmn being Decidueye but I love a lot of the water starters like gens 4-6 & 8s and plan to go with Quaxly in Violet) but ended up choosing grass when I saw all the fully evolved starters on the team picking screen bc of the owl archer
I'm with burk, Fuecoco's enough reason to go Team Fire.

That the whole reason I chose fire, I was planning on water because I loved Mudkip but there was Fuecoco and he was enough for me to go with that team.

the only times you could use grass to commit arson is if you either scatter seeds across a golf course to make it overgrown and unusable or if you use really tough grass to start a fire(which could happen, one time i tried to use a rock to cut a plant and it started eroding the rock). however, just one small flame and half of chicago is gone, one large flood and an entire coastal community is destroyed

I chose team water cause i thought it was their 2nd choice, he wanted fire and i wanted grass, but after i chosed water he told me that he didn't mind anything g between water and grass, so he just told me '' so we picked none of our first choice ?''
