Thank you for the Video. I started with Juki heavy duty sewing machine to redo my boat upholstery and it did a great job sewing vinyl with heavy duty thread, but it was too big with the table that came with it, so I gave it away to buy a recent singer so called heavy duty, but I'm far from the result that I had with my Juki. So a friend gave me the same as the one you showcase in your video, and I'm so happy I found that video because it seems to be the only one with this model of machine. Now I just got it and didn't start it yet as I need to replcathe belt, it will probably blow at the first attempt, the question that I have is: Do you think this machine will handle the thick thread and vinyl ? based on what I see on the video it seems like it will, as your thread look big too. Again thank you for your video.
@@bondmachines Thank you, I'm trying to actually find the real model name with the serial number and I'm also trying to find the age of this baby. Last think would be to know where I could find a belt, mine is all worn out and doesn't really work, it slips while turning. It seems to be a 15" but couldn't really find the same model on Amazon.
I'm looking to buy a sewing machine, don't have a lot of $$, I want to start making my own alterations and some custom made items. Is this a good machine for a beginner?

I don't know how old.. mostly brother pacesetter manuals are difficult to find. Especially the vintage ones

The machine will do just fine.... It uses metal gears and so can handle it

Yes it's a good machine for beginners, not too complex and easy to use
