Bryan, may I have a cast suggestion? I feel Cailee Spaeny would make a great modern Alice Cullen. She is somewhat unknown besides Pacific Rim: Uprising, and most recently with The Craft: Legacy, (an awful film,) but she was the best part in that film as her acting was the most in depth. But I feel she had that bubbly, optimistic, and supportive, personality with the short hair and gothic fashion that Alice was described in the book. (While Alice was 4'10 in the book, and Spaeny is 5′1, she's still kinda short if you line up with others you'd cast.) I also recommend her other films like Bad Times At the El Royale, On the Basis of Sex, and How it Ends. But it's just a thought; with Cailee Spaeny as Alice Cullen. 👍
Great video. Always wondered if you’d ever do a Twilight recast lol. Love your picks. I remember doing a slight Twilight recast a couple months back. Let me know what you think of my picks: Edward: Nick Robinson Bella: Kaitlyn Dever Jacob: Forrest Goodluck Charlie: Josh Duhamel Carlisle: Ian Somerhalder Esme: Kirsten Dunst Alice: Margaret Qualley Jasper: Nat Wolff Rosalie: Samara Weaving Emmett: Noah Centineo Sam: Jordan Connor Victoria: Katherine McNamara Aro: TOM HIDDLESTON
Reservation Dogs is ending this year. So it’d be perfect for D’pharoah Woon-A-Tai to transition to this and who knows maybe he can get his co-cast jobs on the show. Like K. Devery Jacobs would make an interesting Leah Clearwater. Oh and I don’t make the rules but Zahn McClarnon as Billy Black.
They should continue on from where it left off .and like Edward was when he saw Bella in the classroom . They should do same thing with renesme meeting a boy. But after that go into more different stories 🎉
The Batman Sidekick,Villains Cast: Dick Grayson/Nightwing Barbra Gordon/Batgirl James Gordon jr. (maybe have him slowly become The Madman, like maybe first see him as a nice and sweet kid and then see his life go spyro down to hell and been tortured by The Joker🃏) Professor Pyg The Owlman (who I can see him as The Leader of The Court of Owls🦉, and Batman’s Long Lost Brother) Scarecrow Bane Poison Ivy
the twilight movies are definitely period specific and would be so excited to see the remade, more so as a tv series than movies. I definitely think that similar to the Immortal Universe on AMC (Interview with the Vampire and Mayfair Witches), things an be changed and updated. I really think Charlie and Jacob get the short ends of the stick but Billy Burke did so much with what he was given. I saw someone throw out a suggestion for twilight in the 90's (which I would love to see) but I wouldn't mind the characters aged up to their early 20s. I think a lot of people are looking to the 20s-30s range of YA rather than the 16 year old doing crazy things and no parental presence. It would still make sense for Bella to go to college in WA so her mom and new husband could travel, hell, throw a younger sibling in to the mix. I really enjoy the casting choices, I have a couple alternates but I really like these choices and they would work out great for TV as well. We could go deeper into characters like Charlie and Jacob as well as one off episodes/flashbacks specifically about the rest of the Cullen family. Will you be recasting the Volturi and other characters as well?
When the Twilight movies hit Netflix not too long ago I had never seen them so I decided to take a look and uhh…the first obvious problem they have is that the cgi only keeps getting worse as each film goes by also New Moon and Eclipse are colossally boring I’ve never been a fan of vampire media but I will admit the movies did have moments that resonated with the entire concept of vampires I’m keeping my expectations extremely low on the Twilight reboot though and believe it or not I actually watched the movies with an open mind and it just wasn’t working hopefully the reboot changes my perspective
Yeah, i do agree ieth all chocies. I would add up that for me Bella has brown eyes and as long as the actress wears contact lenses, i think all choices are perfect and great here. I would LOVE to see the resto of the Cullen family and cast choices 😁
I will always stand my opinion that Long books series like Twilight would be way better as tv show because then they can flush out a lot more of the characters and there backstory's. I ain't saying movies are not a good option but books that are turned into movies they have to cut stuff out from the books because they just cant fit it into a 90 minutes or 2 hour movies, take Alice backstory into account or Carlisle they are in the first book but they don't go into it in the films. But I will defiantly be excited for this TV-Show and I think the casting that you picked where very good options.
love love LOVE jacob's recasting!! i kinda feel bad for taylor lautner for being nothing but eye candy for twilight as outside of twilight he's simply not a talented actor. he's lost his boyish charm now adays (according to mass media, i still think he's always been attractive) and now isn't really taken seriously. but i'm happy to see an indigeous actor be casted and not another white-washed/ eurocentric beauty standards recast
I don’t know if I’d like your Edward choice, but I LOVE Bella! She definitely seems like she could be the best choice! Also cool with your Jacob and Charlie choices.
A twilight reboot I feel would be amazing I completely fell in love reading the books but then the movies were good but mediocre at best, adding more of a modern spin on this an amazing story would definitely would exciting to watch. I did love the casting of the original movie but for me it was just the acting that kinda turned me off a little, the best movies in the series in my opinion is definitely breaking dawn part 1 and 2 I loved vampire bella and I feel by the time the actors were fully comfortable with their characters it would've been great to see that comfortability throughout all the movies, saying that I mean no hate to the original cast of twilight!
one thing they’ve got to do, is film in washington instead of oregon. as a washingtonian who loved the books, we need them to shoot the movie here instead of our sister to the south.
Nobody could play Charlie like Billy Burke. I'd love to see him in a reboot. Also that mention of Mackenzie Foy as Bella would really make more sense. They nailed her casting as Bella/Edwards child. It was so realistic. RPattz will forever be my Edward cuz hes the reason I even picked up the bks. I was a fan from his Cedric role in HP and I'm still a HUGE fan of his. Seen most of his work to this point. Hes incredible!! This is a great casting attempt tho.
Thank God you were not the casting director for Hamilton or any Shonda Rhimes shows. I'm so glad that some casting attitudes are changing in this business.
I honestly think Billy Burke saved the whole franchise, but would be too old at this point for the reboot. I thin it would need to be someone in their mid-late 30s to be book accurate. I don't think either needs a reboot and don't think anything will be able to catch the same impact either had. We really need to discover new stories instead of beating dead horses. Cough, cough DISNEY!
@@BryanSeeker Catherine Hardwick stated in the Bonus Commentary on the Twilight DVD that she wanted to cast more diverse actors but Stephenie Meyer vetoed. I think Emmett (1915 - 1935) could be played by a mixed ethnic/ black guy. Alice Cullen (1901 - 1920) could be put into Asyulum as a Chinese immigration went up 30%. Carlisle, Esme, Jasper and Rosalie remain the same. I would've cast a Jenna Ortega type for Bella, though.
Oooooh, this is gonna be GOOD! 😀 Edited to add: great choices! Can't wait to see who you pick for the wolves, I don't know many indigenous American actors. And the Volturi will be interesting, too! Though a reboot will have to do some course correcting from the source material. The Twilight canon is...something else.
Although I'll never forgive Joel Edgerton for being involved in the travesty that was "Exodus: Gods and Kings" he would be a great Charlie. Spot on casting for Jacob and Edward too. Loved both of those actors in the respective roles you mentioned and they both have both the looks and the acting chops to pull it off.
Agree with the changes in the characters except Billy Burke. He was really good and would age perfectly in the next twilight series. Thanks for sharing the insights. ❤🎉🎉
I enjoyed your thoughts for a rebooted Twilight cast. I could go along with your picks so far, although I could also see Hero Fiennes Tiffin in the role of Edward. And while I think he'd do fine, I'm not sure Joel Edgerton would be my choice for Charlie. I don't have another pick for Bella's dad, though. Yes...please continue your recasting for the rest of the characters! I'd love to hear your thoughts for the rest of the cast!
I feel like with Jacob you could have done a bit better, in the book Jacob was also handsome in his own way, I would have hired a Latino actor to play him for that more swave look added to him. its love triangle you gotta make it hard for the viewers to pick from team Edward to team Jacob. overall BRAVO! loved who you casted as Edward Cullen! I was always disappointed when it was Robert Patterson, my personal choice at that time would have been Douglas Booth to play Edward in that era it was casted.
the problem with twilight is that, although the books are definitely worth the read and actually further rereading, the way they are written is hard to make a worthy tv adaption out of them whether it's a quadrilogy of films or season series. I don't think a remake is gonna work out. This is a similarity that the twilight series shares with the "the host" (my all time favorite book followed by the HP series) in that they never worked out as films. To be frank, the HP movie series never shined in my eyes either albeit to a lesser extend.
I'm not sure how I got here, *but* I'm glad I did. I immediately thought this would be a slightly terrible idea, not gonna lie. Especially Jacob...until I saw your pick for Jacob. I didn't think I'd be more #teamjacob than I already am. Until I saw your pick. Lol. Great job and I would DEFINITELY watch a reboot of EVERY. SINGLE. TWILIGHT. MOVIE. If these were the new characters. Not 1000% sure on Bella, but if she looks less in pain while simply breathing, it'll be better I'm sure. Lol. But Jacob...🤌🤌🤌. Overall, you not only understood the assignment, but bodied it my dude! Kudos!!!
Edward is a good fit. Bella is a good fit. Jacob is decent but TL slayed in the films! Charlie is now iconic and your pick is a no and big name, who is he. Billy burke should just be cast again lol.
YES TO D’PHAROAH WOON-A-TAI, he is being slept on sm, I wanted him cast as sokka in the live action avatar the last airbender so bad, so I’m glad to see him in this fan cast
We don’t need a reboot, I would love to see new characters and plot from this twilight universe. Twilight universe has so much potential for epic stories with good writing and producers.
I wouldn’t mind Félix or Natalia as Edward & Bella but they just look like siblings so maybe change one or the other. D’Pharaoh as Jacob is the best casting choice like omg I need to see him portray Jacob asap.
I think most of the problem the stars had with the series was the Fandom. Well, this video proves that people are still criticizing it! A whole decade later in fact. Anyways, the 3rd movie, Eclipse, finally got the look of Edward and Jasper right, as per Stephenie Meyer.
Which derserves a reboot more Harry Potter or Twilight?
Twilight. Harry Potter was already so great and I feel like Twilight could benefit from a mini series as opposed to movies.

I know you'll say no to this idea but do you think you can do a fancast video to Grand Theft Auto 5 if they do a movie?
Great video. Always wondered if you’d ever do a Twilight recast lol. Love your picks. I remember doing a slight Twilight recast a couple months back. Let me know what you think of my picks:
Edward: Nick Robinson
Bella: Kaitlyn Dever
Jacob: Forrest Goodluck
Charlie: Josh Duhamel
Carlisle: Ian Somerhalder
Esme: Kirsten Dunst
Alice: Margaret Qualley
Jasper: Nat Wolff
Rosalie: Samara Weaving
Emmett: Noah Centineo
Sam: Jordan Connor
Victoria: Katherine McNamara
Aro: TOM HIDDLESTON
lol, ian in twilight ☠️
@@realestsienna Ik lol. I haven't seen Vampire Diaries, but I thought it would be a cool casting decision.
He should have shown Alice when he said ‘rabbithole’
Ouuu this casting is amazing!!!!
I was pleasantly surprised by this video
THESE ARE SUCH GREAT PICKS!!!! 👏👏👏👏
Omg your casting is amazing!!!!! They are truly the best fit
They should continue on from where it left off .and like Edward was when he saw Bella in the classroom . They should do same thing with renesme meeting a boy. But after that go into more different stories 🎉
first i’m a huge fan can you do the hunger games
The Batman Sidekick,Villains Cast:
Dick Grayson/Nightwing
Barbra Gordon/Batgirl
James Gordon jr. (maybe have him slowly become The Madman, like maybe first see him as a nice and sweet kid and then see his life go spyro down to hell and been tortured by The Joker🃏)
Professor Pyg
The Owlman (who I can see him as The Leader of The Court of Owls🦉, and Batman’s Long Lost Brother)
Scarecrow
Bane
Poison Ivy
Request: The Addams Family recast
perfect recast ! esp for jacob
the twilight movies are definitely period specific and would be so excited to see the remade, more so as a tv series than movies.
You can't remake a classic it won't be the same it will be worse
Not silly smoke coming out of his hand
Wow, every one of these is great. Felix is my recast for Billy Loomis. He has the brooding teen vibe down.
I AND, BELLA IN THE BOOKS, HAS A SHY, UNCERTAIN VOICE, SHE IS NOT SOPPOSED TO HAVE A “LIVELY” VOICE
Everyone you choose were great 👍🏿
Great choice for Jacob.
Ive never watched any of the Twilight movies, but I love watching your videos because you are exceptional at your work :)
Oh you missed out. It really was a campy time at its height and it can't be replicated. Why they rebooting it is beyond me
@@suzygirl1843tvd better
Please continue. I loved this.
love love LOVE jacob's recasting!! i kinda feel bad for taylor lautner for being nothing but eye candy for twilight as outside of twilight he's simply not a talented actor. he's lost his boyish charm now adays (according to mass media, i still think he's always been attractive) and now isn't really taken seriously. but i'm happy to see an indigeous actor be casted and not another white-washed/ eurocentric beauty standards recast
I don’t know if I’d like your Edward choice, but I LOVE Bella! She definitely seems like she could be the best choice! Also cool with your Jacob and Charlie choices.
You should cast the Lore Olympus webcomic.
I like this please keep going
A twilight reboot I feel would be amazing I completely fell in love reading the books but then the movies were good but mediocre at best, adding more of a modern spin on this an amazing story would definitely would exciting to watch. I did love the casting of the original movie but for me it was just the acting that kinda turned me off a little, the best movies in the series in my opinion is definitely breaking dawn part 1 and 2 I loved vampire bella and I feel by the time the actors were fully comfortable with their characters it would've been great to see that comfortability throughout all the movies, saying that I mean no hate to the original cast of twilight!
Can you do recasting for the Vampire Academy reboot series next
I dont know how they read the book and came up with these actors and actoress. Everybody i talk to we all had the same image so yeah please redo
This video pops up as the second image on the overview on google when you search the word “twilight” lmaooo
It would be interesting to see you recast the Volturi
one thing they’ve got to do, is film in washington instead of oregon. as a washingtonian who loved the books, we need them to shoot the movie here instead of our sister to the south.
I have to laugh that the ai Bella looks just like Stephanie Meyer bc it’s been known in the fandom that she’s basically a self insert lmao
Hey, anyone like the idea of Twilight the Musical? I can think of lots of amazing songs that can be sang by the characters. Kind of a rock opera 😃👍
Ive seen both videos and the casting is on point!
David Harbour, Josh Duhmel or Skeet Ulrich for Charlie.
Whitney Peak, Daphne Keen or Milly Alcock for Bella
You gotta do all the characters!!!
love your stuff bro. whatchu think about the new superman casting?
He was my pick a couple years back, crazy to see it coming true
@@BryanSeeker Catherine Hardwick stated in the Bonus Commentary on the Twilight DVD that she wanted to cast more diverse actors but Stephenie Meyer vetoed. I think Emmett (1915 - 1935) could be played by a mixed ethnic/ black guy. Alice Cullen (1901 - 1920) could be put into Asyulum as a Chinese immigration went up 30%. Carlisle, Esme, Jasper and Rosalie remain the same. I would've cast a Jenna Ortega type for Bella, though.
He's probably beyond those type of roles, but low energy Tim Chalamet will crush it as Edward.
And rising star Kat Newton will do a decent Bella imo
Your choice of Edward is good. He got the looks and character.
Oooooh, this is gonna be GOOD! 😀
Edited to add: great choices! Can't wait to see who you pick for the wolves, I don't know many indigenous American actors. And the Volturi will be interesting, too! Though a reboot will have to do some course correcting from the source material. The Twilight canon is...something else.
Dakota Beavers, Michael Hudson and Kekoa Kekumano (even though he's Hawaiian) but could be great one of the choices for werewolves
Perfect casting for Jacob!! Maybe I’ll switch team👀
Yessssss! Please do a good Jasper!
Please do recasting of Gene Roddenberry's *Andromeda*
Great picks!
Awesome casting!! Love your videos 💕
This doesn’t deserve a reboot or series leave my childhood alone!!!!
please do rosalie and alice next!
I know you can send a breath of fresh air to this wretched saga, fratello.
NO WAY!! The Twilight cast is perfect! A classic. Write a new script and cast your own film!
this is a tv seires reboot the orgial cast is too ol there in there 30s and 40s
People should leave thing as they are. Twighlight was fire
YES TO D’PHAROAH WOON-A-TAI, he is being slept on sm, I wanted him cast as sokka in the live action avatar the last airbender so bad, so I’m glad to see him in this fan cast
Charlie is the only character that should be the same. Charlie is the life of twilight.
OMG JUST CAST THE NEW JACOB GUY ALREADY HES PERFECT 🥰
