I have proudly told Chuck Huber, fuck you for that role lol then he has the audacity to sign my wife's autograph(she got one for FMA and i got one for DBZ) "from the world's greatest dad" seriously though, go meet Huber if you ever get a chance, one of the coolest guys around.
I still think the OG version was worse, She ended up leaving the home and found him in an alley and Edward found the blood splatter from ol boy exploding her into paste.
@@allhandsondik7803 Because honestly, how _can_ Shou go to heaven? What he did is beyond sinful. Sure, everyone is a sinner, but most people can have them forgiven because it isn't that bad. But Shou....? He can't be forgiven.
You know why people love anime, because you get to know the characters and bond, and sometimes when they want to add drama, they completely destroy that character and you feel all of it. It moves you.
O-nii-chan. A-so-bo... The distorted voice made it more creepier and depressing. A little trivia is Tucker survive in this episode in the alternate timeline of FMA the old anime version. If I remember correctly, he too turned into a chimera.
As much as there may be disagreements about Scar killing Nina, it was an act of kindness. She would have been used as a labrat for the rest of her life, and it would be a horrible fate. A sad but powerful moment.
This scene is one of the things that makes me like the classic fma better over the brotherhood version. Brotherhood has some good stuff... but the classic nailed a lot of moments like this one.
Man, this wasnt even the most gut-wrenching scene. Maes hughes final words? Roy Mustang and the rain? Hughes daughter not understanding? This was a rough one, sure, but the 2003 fma really knew how to turn the knife early on.
to be honest this didn't get to me at all since im someone who watched anime like monster, berserk and when the cicadas cry before watching this, i think shock factor and the dark aspects come from the fact its a kid and its done by the father, there's shit in anime out there that psychically can make you ill, one that had a huge impact on me was (SPOILERS) in fate/zero when a charecter shoots his daughter in front of the wife and then strangles his wife while she curses him and even thats tamed compared to things that appear in anime like berserk like i said earlier, though i think this would defiantly make someone not that into anime or just the darker side of anime pause and think holy shit that's fucked up.

I cried for like 5 minutes straight when i saw this for the first time. I wanted to punch the screen.

90s kids still not recovered from this scene till this days. If you didn't believe me, try cosplay Nina Tucker.
yea there are a lot of memes about this circulating even up to this day. It's just so dark the entire anime fandom will never recover from it.
I actually dropped the show after this episode. Until now I still can't find myself finishing it. Most fucked up thing ive seen ngl

I kept seeing this clip on father's Day and after watching the anime I finally get it wtf
Makes me sad until scar fixes everything
Scar does what is necessary
hahaha nice reaction!!
I saw a post before saying Korosensei's death was the saddest moment in anime. Apparently they haven't seen this yet.
I was just starting to watch fma the original anime btw and this shit hit hard f I thought the show was wholesome I got traumatized asf by this story
I didn't expect that when I first watched FMA, it made me stop watching for 1 day
This scene alone can take any horro film there is, can't change my mind. Scar did actually feel mercy for the little girl so he made the right choice

This is one of the few which leaves traumatic scars

This is pretty dark after taking the fact that FMA is a shounen series into consideration , monster , beserk aren't really shounen

Is it about nina ?
FMA 2003 did this a lot better imo she even protected her dad while Edward was beating him truly heart wrenching.
