Glad to see you back reviewing fragrance. My only beef with Tom Ford fragrance now is that he is not the one making them since Tom sold his brand for 2.8 billion.
I tried this in-store the week it came out. This scent will command a room with 2-3 sprays but it’s gorgeous. It smells like fresh vinyl records to me in the best way.
Got my nose on this a few days ago. To me it smells like Comme des Garçons Black, only with the rubbery licorice note turned way down. Getting the churchy incense vibe that I love. It won't be for everyone, but I'm sold ... although I'll wait until I'm next at Heathrow, or win the lottery!
I can never justify TF fragrance prince range. Food on the table and morgage/bils paid are my top priority but the way you review makes me very tempted to try it out but I'll never buy it, not worth the investiment.
It costs between $10 and $50 to produce a high end fragrance . . Estee' Lauder Corp. owns the Tom Ford fragrance line . . So what are you really paying for ??
Well it’s better than Electric Cherry 🥳 In a few months from now it’ll be at duty free so the price won’t be as silly, at that point I’ll probably get involved, it is after all a decent scent
I loved it as well but did not feel it had the kind of longevity I’ve experienced with other TF scents. I may need to revisit the sample I received at Nordstrom and try again.
I always hear that TF fragrances have gone down hill lately but i think Lost Cherry has become iconic, Noir Extreme parfum is really good, putting oud minerale and cafe rose into the signature collection was a good move. I'd say pricing is way too much but the scents have still been good.
I’m not a fan of the Tom Ford range. Or at least, the ones I’ve tried. I prefer a subtle ‘less is more’ type fragrance. The Tom Ford range appear to be overwhelming and way too in your face, as if the only thing a fragrance is supposed to do is make a dramatic “HERE I AM” statement. To be honest, if I was blind testing fragrances and therefore didn’t know it was an expensive designer label, I would think most of their fragrances were some awful cheap knock off brand. 🤷♂️ As always, Robin, thank you for your honesty and not just saying what brands would hope you would say. 👍
HERE I AM - is the Tom Ford brand. His runway collections were very out there and sexualised which he has inherited into his fragrance lines over the years. But totally agree with you (these days anyway) that the newer frags and older reformulated frags are disappointing, would never by one now - shame as his older formulations were incredible! Super smooth and interesting.
TF went downhill for three reasons : 1.After Covid the formula changed to make them perform less. 2.Price went sky high with no apparent excuse. 3.Many different odors and variants leaving consumer puzzled.
As someone who was a long time TF PB fan, it’s no longer worth the price point. You can get way more distinctive fragrances from niche houses for a much more sensible price.
Okay, so what do you think? It’s been a little loud on the marketing of late.

😂😂😂😂 he never did ,it was always EL and that is why they bought him

The perfume seems to have an attractive smell, I hope to find it in Egypt, thank you, sir
It is ABOLUTEY smoky on the top note. And, quite unlike ANYTHING I have used before.

@@willnorth6339 yeah. It’s Tom Ford in name only though now. I think he sold it a few years ago so he’s got nothing to do with it.
💣 fugere d'argent brother the best for me 👍

Thats more than the average private blend prices!!!!
You have very beautiful eyes, mate ✌
TF fragrances are cute and different but completely overpriced and most don’t last long which is completely unacceptable
It's better to be off the pr list than on it lol
