- As we mourn the passing of our beloved colleague Elise Finch, Kristine Johnson, Lonnie Quinn and Dick Brennan paused to share their memories, and deliver a special message for Elise's daughter Grace.
I never get upset about the loss of someone I do not know, but for some reason the loss of Elise has been rough for me. She had a way of talking that made you feel that everything would be ok. I feel crazy for writing this, but not seeing her this morning was an awful feeling. She will be missed even by those of us that she never knew. RIP.
She had a kindness about her in her voice. I would only watch if I had the channel on after Price is Right but you can tell she was a great person just listening to her
Same, I didn't realize how positive she was. Beautiful person, it's so sad.
Me too enjoyed her smile, I kept saying she’s putting on too much weight oh no, she probably was sick silently, so sad wow!
I m in shock I watch her every morning no words but she will be missed
I look at the other forecasters but when a real storm is coming, I've just got to log on to cbs2 to hear from Elise. Now what?

She was in and out of work repeatedly for health-related reasons over the past few months before her death.
Any loss from our local newscasters is devastating, we wake up, have lunch or before we go to bed turn on the news for the latest. RIP Elise F. you will be sorely missed...
Im balling my eyes out and i dont knkw her but its so beautiful to have people care and even look out for your love ones when you are gone.
God Bless all of her colleagues that loved her and will stand with her family during this devastating time.
Why do folks say things like "I'm balling my eyes out" when this isn't even about THEM or their reactions? It's annoying and unnecessary.

I didn’t know she was a Janet Jackson fan until today. I’ve had when I think of you in my head all day. Elise was part of my life almost every day. I thank her for her forecasts especially when she did the pollen count. A lovely person is gone.

As I listen it breaks my heart and tears as it bring back the memory of my sister who at age 46 pass away suddenly . It is painful and will be a hard journey for the family. Her youngest of four boys was three years old. Praise the Lord they grew up the baby is the only one left in college. I also late last year lost my son to mental Illness, he went in Cardiac rest after lest than 24 hours he was given a medication he never had, that happen half hour after they gave him. May the God of all comfort this beautiful soul, family with the same comfort he has comfort me. The love that she gave to her daughter is enough to last her for a lifetime . She will not understand, but the love I heard from her Mom’s colleagues is so beautiful, this will help her on this journey . The truth is only our faith in God that will help us to stand. It very important that we show kindness to those around us, we never know when is our last day on this earth.
Your son didn’t die from ‘mental illness’ he died from the deadly and dangerous drugs he was given. I’m sorry but there are NO SAFE DRUGS!

I never comment on youtube videos but this def has me in shock! I remember many years ago I attended a March of Dimes walk and John Elliot and Elise were both there. I remember getting the opportunity to say hello in passing and telling John that I think Carrie Underwood and Elise looked alike. He called her attention and told her I remember her looking surprised and laughing and saying it was the first time she got that one!

So so sorry to hear of Elice’s passing. Condolences to the CBS family who knew her better than us viewers. I didn’t know her at all, other than the weather person on TV and her extremely warm and beautiful smile. Found myself wondering why I felt so devastated about someone I didn’t know passing. She appeared to be a beautiful and kind person. I don’t watch any MSM news-haven’t in almost a decade-so I didn’t know her at all. Sadly a LOT of younger people (under 60 or even less) are literally dropping dead these days…….I’d have to venture to guess she followed the TERRIBLE advice of the government and media and got the jabs. You go from perfectly fine to dead in minutes from a blood clot or stroke. Prayers to her family as they are the true tragedies in this.
