Amazing Cockpit View! US Navy Blue Angels Team Highlights
Вставка
- Опубліковано 7 гру 2019
- The Blue Angels is the United States Navy's flight demonstration squadron which was initially formed in 1946, making it the second oldest formal aerobatic team (under the same name) in the world.
The Blue Angels typically perform aerial displays annually in at least 60 shows at 30 locations throughout the United States and two shows at one location in Canada. The "Blues" still employ many of the same practices and techniques used in the inaugural 1946 season. An estimated 11 million spectators view the squadron during air shows from March through November each year. Members of the Blue Angels team also visit more than 50,000 people in schools, hospitals, and community functions at air show cities. Since 1946, the Blue Angels have flown for more than 505 million spectators.

Jesus loves you so much that he took the WRATH of God that you and I deserve, Jesus said that if you don’t REPENT you will likewise perish, I don’t know what you have been through in your life but Jesus is the only way you can go to heaven, turn to Christ and REPENT✝️❤️
@@Papa.Beans. I believe in god but I'm not gonna repent, I think of him more as the creator, rather than the governor of fate. Like, he got the universe going, but left it to grow and evolve on it's own. I just simply can't base my life around scripture that has been changed and manipulated by other humans to such a degree, it has to be re-written to conform to modern times so as to lessen the load unto individuals. 0:50 to 1:14 is a practice called "watching paint", it's a very precise protocol the Blue Angels use in their standard diamond formation.
Each pilot within the diamond is assigned a specific point on their neighboring aircraft and they hold that point visually within the diamond, it's why that formation can be held so statically during their performances. They practice this over and over and over again during their training time/s in El Centro and also occasionally at NAS Pensacola.
Additionally, ALL the footage from 0:50 to end of video was during their Seafair show in Seattle, you can See Mercer Island, Seward Park, DT Seattle, W. Seattle, Lake Washington, the I-90 and SR 520 floating bridge/s and several other major landmarks.
I came here to ask how in the world they can fly that close... At one point it looks like the tips of the wings are mere inches away...
insane honestly. I can't get over how precise they are in this maneuver. It's butt puckering to say the least....
And what year is this since the uploader was too inconsiderate to tell us in their video description?
@@NewShockerGuy
They are still several TENS OF FEET AWAY. Stupid use of a fisheye lense distorts the hell out of the video unnecessarily.
I knew I recognized Seattle 🤩😍🌊
They aren't assigned a point. The individual pilot chooses a point to keep in their specific viewpoint. Because if they were "assigned" points to look at that point may be good for one person, be not for another, do to height differences, seating positions, etc. The pilots I've talked to call it "flying paint"
Ive seen them perform least half a dozen times and it never gets old

@@BlueTorrie Never forget the goose my friends! The piano will never be the same without him 💔
I saw their last airshow in Pensacola Florida in '96 or '97. And to this day it's the most amazing thing I've ever seen as a spectator! One of the best life experiences of my life. Those guys are simply awesome! 🤘🏻
Let’s be honest. Their whole show deserves to be a highlight

Hold my wings :)))

Ahh Ace Combat, do they still make those games?
3:55 So beautifully synchronized. Im still completely baffled by mankinds capabilities.
It is amazing to watch the pilots fly these awesome F/A-18's! Their abilities to execute flight patterns so intricately choreographed never fail to awe the privileged spectators who watch any performance that the Blue Angels put on display! I would love the awesome chance to fly in one of these incredible planes!
Anyone who has actually flown any kind of manned aircraft in reality would have an appreciation of how ridiculously impressive this is. Massive respect to these guys, you are at the top of your game. Us mortals just get to watch.
I've never looked inside a cockpit beyond my first time on a plane, trust me, I can appreciate the skill involved!
they’re not God, so why do you say “us mortals”
This would be hard enough to do in a vehicle
Most certainly. Even those of us who fly simulators, can only imagine how terrifyingly intense and challenging this must be.
Just take mid-air refueling as an example:
You must remain within a tiny margin of speed, just +- a few knots, while staying within +- around half a meter in relation to the boom of the refueling aircraft.
And you have to stay this precise not for a few moments, but full minutes.
They've just ramped this to 11.
Speed and distance margins are so narrow, that I find it hard to believe they haven't actually touched, perhaps so gently none came of it. And they do this for a whole show, 15-30 minutes! Sometimes more, I would assume.
Fighter pilots are already truly special mortals. They are chosen for their suitability as a pilot.
In denmark, only 1 in a thousand people make the cut to enter into becoming a fighter pilot, and only like 1 in 30 to 50 actually make it through to become one.
Pilots have literally won the genetic lottery.
Thus, it isn't completely inappropriate to seperate them from us 'mortals'.
Impressive indeed... but I don't get why they do stuff like this above peoples houses, one mistake and it could cost not only the pilots life
Imagine having to sneeze in those tight formations..
I thought this exact thing!
FineLines ' SAME
Ah choooo well there went 250 million dollars

As I child I was amazed at how cars on the freeway would follow so closely without crashing. That was quickly shadowed by seeing Nascar at Taladega. Don't see what will top this.

It’s like a Nissan GTR loaded with advanced algorithms telling which wheels to put down more traction and which to slow down for optimum driving performance, much easier to drive than an analog Ferrari F40 that has no traction control. Still amazing, but they could do this from the ground like a giant RC plane these days if they wanted, and they do.

Yeah i figured they likely had some automated assistance. Its hard to imagine their movements and distances remaining so consistent while travelling at 1000 mph lol.
james baker the only thing computerized in there is the fly by wire. They’re using pure skill
quixitoc No they're don't. There's no need to get butthurts over this. They have the entire flight path not only rehearsed hundreds of times but entire precise data of it loaded into an onboard computer. If Tesla can make self driving cars the military can make self flying planes. You can rest assured the computer points out every deviation from the preprogrammed flight path, then warns and if necessary takes control from the pilot. The technology we have, and especially in new aircrafts, is much more advanced then you seem to understand.
