I was blessed with directing the Blue Angels airshow for LIVE TV for many years - gave me access to a lot of flight video from the team - I am glad you like the post.
Great video. Just when you think that you have seen all of the best Blue Angels videos, you see this. Thank you to everyone involved in making and posting this video.
Fantastic video. The location of the camera is perfect. This is definitely the best Blue Angels video I have seen. Really puts you in the cockpit. Unbelievably close formation flying.
Great video!I used to live in SEA, have watched a lot of BA shows over the years. I used to park on Airport road and photograph them taking off from BFI, in the days before they turned it into a public event at the museum of flight. Most times I'd be the only one there in the parking lot with my camera and scanner watching the Blue's come and go during their practice sessions. A few years later I had to pay to get into the museum grounds to watch the show, but it was all worth it!
Man i don't understand how you guys fly so damn close.. I mean if you touch is that it because at one point it looked like you guys were touching, barely but appeared you were. So each of you are manually flying? Do each of you keep eyes on the lead plane and trust each other or eyes on every plane? Color me amazed. I was on a 747 that had a near collision leaving LA and been hell to fly since. Amazed my lady when I told her I would trust flying with you guys more than a 747 now. You guys are 1 billion percent absolutely amazing. God bless each of you for your service to the United States of America.
15:14 That rudder kick into the slot looks way different from the air than it does on the ground here at El Centro. The ground view is a sharp slew then reversal that leads the viewer to think the pilots helmet is banging side to side on the canopy.
22:40......Jesus flying cracked windshields. That's the tightest formation I've ever seen . They **MUST** occasionally tap each other mid-air. Also have to have perfect flying conditions. I mean, that's literally not even 12" apart.
I have a great amount of admiration and respect for these pilots, But in my opinion I think this very close formation flying puts the pilots at a massive unnecessary risk..
You could get rid of the first 12 minutes of this video and add 12 minutes to the end of it and it would be far better. That’s why I gave you a negative or thumbs down response. There is 12 minutes of nothing happening except starting and taxing around on the airport.
I hated living in Washington. Sure you have forests on the west and deserts on the east, but that only means you have rocky beaches covered in jellyfish on the west and rattlesnakes in the east. And no matter which way you turned, my stepfather who worked at TESC was probably going to SA you or beat you for not complying with his sick demands.

Blue Angels 2, 3, 4: "How precision do you want the diamond?"
Blue Angel 1: "Yes"

OMG THANK YOU FOR THIS!!!!!!!!!!! And thanks for not ruining this with music!!
This gives new meaning to the phrase "poetry in motion".
Amazing video. Thank you for sharing.
Awesome! And thanks for not adding music.
That is insane! Greatest of respect from England
I was at this airshow on this same day. I remember seeing you get in the plane.
Thanks for this amazing video. And for not adding music. Although comms would be cool to hear.
Amazing perspective, thanks for posting this. Wow.
The move from Nr4 (is it ?) inside the diamond formation just after takeoff is truly insane...
22:59 left and right wing tips were literally inches apart! These guys are amazing!!!
spooky close.
22:52! Wow, looks like Boss and left wing pilot are actually touching for few seconds, damn!
Slot view video from cockpit is awesome!

I'm italian and I love Frecce Tricolori. But these Pilots and F-18 are great too!... This video is very exciting.
I was on top of the I90 tunnel for this show

Fabulous. 5 people have NO IDEA!

Unreal!
thanks for this vid, good to watch because there is no background music at all, purely jet engine noise and wind noise.
He is well supported.
22:28 is when my rear end started puckering up to give my recliner a kiss!
22:55 #2 canopy directly under #1 left wing whoa nelly!
Great action once they got going. I knew they flew close formations, but dang!, they really do fly 18 inches apart.
2 and 3 drifted towards the centre towards the end.
Shut is that tight formation flying.
There’s nothing sweeter than when that fighter pilot runs those engines up before they launch them bad boys off the runway
Mama mia!
Hello to all from the aerobatic team "Russian Knights")))
Holy Moses they're close together.
Flying starts @ 15:00 🙄
I love this point of view. nice to see the takeoff and then the delta break into the diamond and solo's to start the show.
OMG! that four jets were too close to each other, one false move will end up to a catastrophic accident, but they're good!
23.10 damn thats close
Almost could have experienced a midair collision at 23:04.
22:51 3 bumped number 1s left pylon
ALLAN 🤘
Could do with an edit at the start of the video
jesus , lord way too close, risking they life

And they signed up for this so shut the fuck up
And that's why you live in Mom's basement at age 40. You woke Democrat loser.

I am out, no thanks

Need to edit this! First half of the video is not much to watch. Waste of time.
