Nice run buddy. I run the same e-truck, a few weekend ago I heard the rear diff slip a few times. I checked it and some teeth were chiped, I replaced the gears and shimmed it with 3 behind the pinion gear and 1 on the gear side of Differential. Haven't drove it since, but it feels good not too tight. It had 2 shims behind the pinion gear and none on the diff. Do you think what I have done will fix the issue? How is your rear diff shimed? Thanks
I don't have any shims on the pinions or differentials. I have bent the ring gear after hard crashes. With the bent ring gear, there is a point where the torque required to turn the wheels increases and then drops off. If you use too much grease on the ring and pinion, the grease will collect dirt and build up and you won't have a good contact patch between the ring and pinion. The grease will fill in the valley of the ring gear and the teeth won't engage deep enough. I don't use any grease on my ring or pinion.
@@adamlapid5201 ok I will consider that and use less grease. You don't find any is needed? I do notice the build up of grease between the gear teeth. None though? I will try that. Thanks
Make sure to get extra shock shafts front and rear and some softer sway bars. Kit is a solid build. Normal tips like blue loctite when metal to metal on screws. Its a simple build but the kit setup is made for high bite tracks, not west coast tracks.

@@RcOffroad9513 i dont run any grease. I make sure the pinion bearing and out drive bearings have oil.
@@RcOffroad9513 I make sure the gears and diff case is very clean when i assemble it.
Any issues with your serpent truggy? Or advice to prevent issues or on the build? Changes? Upgrades? Thanks 🙏 Thinking about ordering the nitro truggy

I see myself marshaling in the back middle.
