This was great and just what I needed to clarify a few points after my first solo playthrough (which I lost, badly, but there'll be another try soon). Thanks for sharing the video!
Know this is an old one now but I love this style of review showing a quick run-through of a game. Most reviews are either too brief... or way too long. After recently getting into boardgames I'm looking forward to finding more in this style. Pavlov's House is definitely going on my list after watching this, so thanks
It's very fun, but I love the whole Valiant Defenders series, so I'm an easy sell at this point :) A Steam version just came out, I believe, if you want to check it out for digital play.
@@OneStopCoopShop I’m very new to board games but a sucker for war history and with COVID solo gaming interests me this game has all that going for it. Agree the whole series looks great!
Nope, but I wish! Check page 23 of the rules. You'll see at the end of each weapon action description it says "This counts as two actions and exhausts both Soviet Counters."
@@OneStopCoopShop Oh wow! Thanks for checking. That's really a challenge. I found achieving victory in this game difficult enough as it was! Did not dare touch the German tactics cards even.
1:52 = Set-Up
4:57 = Basics of Play
11:45 = Partial Playthrough
14:04 awesome i laughed so hard hahaha. nice playthrough thanks a lot.

Glad it’s helpful!
Thanks for persevering, Mike. Accidentally deleting your original play through must have been painful.
‘Twas a dark night indeed!

Oh dear. 🙁 That is highly unfortunate. Thank you for doing this though
Yeah, I was a very sad Mike that day. Thank god the game is fun to play!
Looks fun! Seems very intense which I like!

11:34 doesn't it only cost one action which exhausts two men?

In reality Pavlov's House was a PR victory for the Russians, but largely irrelevant to the battle.
That’s how the historical companion book presents it as well.
@@OneStopCoopShop Well since they got that right, then I'll buy the game.
