At the risk of being three years too late: That little yellow/green hanging pull handle in the inside of the trunk lid isn't to pull it closed...it's an emergency trunk latch release in case somebody is kidnapped and stuffed in the trunk. It should normally clip into the little indent and sit flush with the surrounding carpeting so as not to dangle annoyingly. There are indeed two handholds on either side of the emergency release you can use to pull the trunk closed without putting fingerprints in on your paint.
Had mine 30,000mls now done 99,680mls. Only problems electric water pump and active abs sensors. Been and still is a great car with fantastic leg room front and rear
mason resendes let me guess, daddy is paying for it. As long as you are not shitting money a BMW is never a good first card if you get 18, not just the car is expensive at all you are also paying a lot for exchange parts like breaks or whatever you need.
awesome review on the car, I'm planning on getting the same year as a first car, I hear alot about the expenses of this car and that perhaps they aren't very reliable, what is your take on that? I'm still wanting to know more before I buy one.
DarkVoid based on my experience with owning a few of these BMWs, the lower engine number you get the more reliable. This car was my most reliable, good gas mileage, daily driver. I only had two minor issues, oil leak and the stock radio would glitch out on occasion. I had 170k on my car before I sold it. Overall I would say it depends who you buy it from and the mileage/condition.
+jesus christ I bought a higher mileage one. Had hardly any issues, maybe spent $200 the whole year on parts, I put on myself. Overall really solid cars, I own a 335xi now which has costed more so far to own.
@Mzee Ruzinda You have literal brain damage. I'd say give your head a shake, but don't want to have your last remaining brain cells ceasing to exist. Ya fkn imbecile.
You can reset the dash for like $40 with an OBC reader or for free is the issue is actually fixed and just the light needs a reset... msg me if you still want to learn how. :-)
Not the US especially, the facelift version has the 330i - 3.0Liter engine, detuned to 325i specs. Lots of people don't know that but it's ok, with the era of turbo engines, it'll be even worse ahah.
Do some reading on it, I'm pretty sure me and the rest of the owners of this car know our engine. This was a weird naming year for BMW, they gave the 3.0L engine in the 325i then the following year changed the names from 325i and 330i, to 328i and 335i in 2007. The 328i has the exact same 3.0L engine as the 325i during the years of 2006-2011. BMW 325i sedan. www.motortrend.com/cars/2006/bmw/3_series/specifications/
+Dilix idgaf I drive a 2008 328i and the 2006 325i has the same engine. The only difference is that the 328i has 15 extra hp. Check your facts before making false statements.

I love this car😍
Closing the trunk using the green handle???? Check out the inner right side instead, there’s a handle.
Are these good first cars? I want a 2011 328i 3 series when I turn 18, I will be doing maintenance myself. Should I go for it?
Excellent first car, I enjoyed the car so much, I bought a. newer one. Look at my 335xi review. Great daily that's fun to drive, you'll like it.

I have mine since 4 years. You need around 1000 Euros every year, just in case something breaks.
Cheers
Recently got a 2006 325i and man do I love this car! It's so fun and reliable if of course you take care of her
"nice little latch to pull it down"

Beamer Gang
I want those reflective amber stripes so bad..
I thought the 325i have a 2.5L engine 🤔
In the US they are usually 3.0L, BMW understand Americans think differently. Power > Efficiency lol 😂
Thats not recorded in 4K, anyway nobody watch videos on 4K
How is it not
It is, your device just can't play it...lol

Damn, lemme find your car on the street. I'd break that window and magically end up with a new iPad and Wallet ❤️
It shouldnt sound like that, it overheated, you can tell
Jesus Rivera didn't over heat. I drove the car for several months after this review.
Oh it has the old key beep
That’s my dads car
I prefer 2006 Lexus is250
ITS A 2.5L NOT 3L...
the US variant had a 3.0L.

Know what you're talking about first, ya fkn dummy.
way to flaunt ur money lol
Brenden Sprague if he paid anything over 5.3k for this car, he is stupid, too much miles and it sounds bad. Horrible buy
Jesus Rivera good buy cause I put 40k on it during my ownership and still got exactly what I paid for it back. 5k in 5k out.
Urghh automatic ---> fail
Its not 3.0l. Its 2.5L giving it 160kw... Get ur fax right.
