    I love seeing you work on the Yamahas but it’s nice to see the Honda’s in the shop! There is a lot of stuff I can’t seem to find on the TRX450ER on UA-cam. Off course I am a Honda owner and am looking to build any knowledge I can on my machine. And I know you know what your doing! Keep the Honda’s around! Love the content!

    • @ononewheel7
      @ononewheel7  2 роки тому

      Off the top of my head no. Usually any a arm you buy has specs online for what length shock they take. I know my setup takes a 21” shock its a long travel xc setup.

  • @Trx450Rider01
    @Trx450Rider01 Місяць тому +1

    I just installed these on my 05 and can't seem to get the camber set to 0 to start. Maybe I'm adjusting the camber wrong but don't you just loosen the nylon nut to move the tire away from the ATV and tighten it to move it in? I'm out of threads trying to move it out and not sure what I'm doing wrong.

    • @ononewheel7
      @ononewheel7  Місяць тому +1

      So Walsh has a great video on setting up caster and camber and toe. You need to unbolt the shocks front/rear and set the quad on a jack or stand at ride height so for me with the yfz450r its 7”. Then you can set toe, camber. Caster i run -3 with the houser a arms for xc. If your an mx guy then you may want to go 0 - +3

      @Trx450Rider01 Місяць тому +1

      @@ononewheel7 Thanks I'll look for the video. I also have a ticket in with Houser on the issue. Hopefully they will also get back to me soon.

    • @ononewheel7
      @ononewheel7  Місяць тому +1

      I know with the yfz450r’s we basically have to set the ball joint all the way out wish they would correct that with a longer upper A arm or a longer ball joint setup.

    • @Trx450Rider01
      @Trx450Rider01 Місяць тому

      @@ononewheel7 Agreed. If I set the camber to 0 degrees I don't have enough threads to put the nylon nut back on. I'm afraid my only solution will be way too much camber or try and find a nylon nut that's not as thick as the one it came with.

  • @twoguncorcoran4733

    So the houser +1 arms are actually just 3/4" wider than stock? I assume you're running a 4:1 offset front wheel to be at 46-1/2"... Wouldn't a stock a-arm and 3:2 offset wheel (which is close to the stock trx wheel) make roughly the same width? A 4:1 offset would theoretically handle better though...

    • @ononewheel7
      @ononewheel7  3 роки тому +1

      Thats rite. I am running a 4-1 wheel not sure on stock trx a arms i no they are narrower so w a 3-2 wheel it could be a touch wider but this setup also gives you full adjustment of caster/camper

    • @twoguncorcoran4733
      @twoguncorcoran4733 3 роки тому +1

      @@ononewheel7 Thanks, i'm just looking at these arms but it's more recreational for us. i'm running Teixeira Tech upper ball joints on stock arms that give camber adjustment but the caster adjustment would sure be nice...Houser doesn't offer a +2 standard travel for some reason...great video btw
