Though there are many great pastrami restaurants around, this tour only covers pastrami spots that are within the city of LA, as stated in the video description, and not LA County as a whole. Sorry to disappoint with what was left out.

Belgian Fries are cooked in beef tallow, that's why they taste so good.
Every fast-food joint cooked their fries in beef tallow (pre 1990s) before they were pressured into using seed oil by health activist who didn't know better.

Weather it's Tops on Walnut & Hill St or Tops on East Colorado, there both equally good.
BTW; not all Hat restaurants are created equal. The Hat in the city of Glendora and city of Rosemead are subpar compared to the Original Hat in Alhambra which never lets down, the pastrami meat is always soft and thin cut but packed on, the Au-Jus from the pastrami meat is damn amazing and why I always get my bun double dipped.

The building the Oinkster is iin was originally a Tastee-Freez. That’s why it has an A frame. It was a Jim’s Burger in between the two

Daglas in Winnetka never gets no love. It's literally right next door to Cupid's Hot Dogs too. Throw some Cupid's chili on those wet 'n greasy fries from Daglas and you're in heaven.

I think the best is Eastside Italian Deli Downtown L.A. Near Dodger's Stadium. The #7 - Roast Beef, pastrami and cheese sandwich, is the bomb. You will see all the city workers eating there during lunchtime. It's our go to deli for the past 27 years.

I tried the Pastrami from Farmer Boys and loved it, the meat had some crunch to it. When I tried it the next time, it wasn't the same. I think the first one was left on the broiler longer than usual.

Fun fact: LA IS a pastrami city. Some of the sneakily best joints are one off burger joints & diners in south LA & south bay. Tams, Louie burgers, Astro burgers, Apollo burgers in Carson, The Hat in Pasadena/San Gabriel valley. Its LA style thin sliced & one of the best hangover cures known to man outside of Pedialyte & Pho. RIP to Greenblatts Deli in West Hollywood, one of best late night spots for pastrami or a French dip roast beef & a nice bottle of wine to take home.

Based on this video, we went to the Oinkster last night! Reuben blew the Oinkster sandwich out of the water. However…it definitely needs more kraut and dressing. Prices are a bit high here, but food was solid. Oh!! They make their own sauces including the ketchup lol!
