Thanks to Steady Craftin, I learned about Sofibi. This was a great touch up. A delightful little gentleman. 😊

Yes, now he can go back to knocking over buildings and not feel self-conscious about his face anymore. :)

This was really cool, I didn't know until recently that Japan had a big collectors market on vinyl toys like these, and they are really fun. It's interesting to see these vinyl paints, and it's understandable that they need to really bite into the vinyl compared to others. Glad to hear that your wife was happy with the restoration, it looks really great!

I’m having a lot of trouble with my VColor cobwebbing when I air brush. Any tips on how to solve this?

      I’m using a 0.3 needle at about 15-20psi with a 1:1 mix.

The cobwebbing sure is annoying! A 1:1 mix is too strong. Try a 1:2 or a 1:3 ratio. Use more thinner.

@@stevethefishdotnet Thanks so much! Getting good info on this paint is even harder than getting the paint and thinner. I’ve just started making sofubi and I want my paint to be top notch.

You're welcome! If you are new to my channel, I've uploaded several build videos on various sofubi projects, and you'll see the cobwebbing I still deal with. Lately I've done videos on a sofubi Y-Wing and Deedlit from Record of Lodoss War. The first sofubi kit I built was my Devil Hunter Yohko figure, although I did not use V-Color on that one since I hadn't really learned about it until I was close to finishing it.
