Hanging a ceiling fan can be very rewarding! This is a long detailed video, geared towards the beginner, so you can skip ahead if needed. Time stamps are listed below.
Please use all the SAFETY measures I suggest, because electricity can be deadly! I don't want to scare you, but please be careful!

I’ll teach you to hang a ceiling fan! If you’ve been wanting to learn how to do this yourself, now is the perfect time! Mine is a beautiful sparkly fan I bought on Overstock.com, but it's also available in my Amazon Store listed below.
You'll need some patience and at least 4-6 hours to install this, but those times will vary, depending on your expertise! I've installed many fans and light fixtures over the years.

great video thank you very much the instructions stink!! **1 confusing point is that you said you hook the red and the blue together then you said you let the red capt off by itself????? Thank you
That is correct. If you watch t the 28 minute mark it should explain it. Thanks for commenting. Hope that helps.
What I noticed you did connect the red wire to the blue and then later on you kept the red I don't have a red wire so I'm not worried about it but when I went back to the 28th mark several times still didn't make any sense I understand what he's saying
I always put the caps on top of the ladder with me Plenty of them and I use the yellow the orange one seemed to be too small
It took me forever to do it with no help 😊
It is pretty time consuming, but rewarding!
Is the remote control supposed to just work for that fan once you put the batteries in? Because I can't get the remote control to work and there's no directions in the directions for remote control

I don't have a red wire coming from my ceiling only black and white So the white of course from one side of the Controller goes with white of course Daniel The Wire goes with the black the black my power source. But then can I use my switch? I know without the remote control and the controller just hooking up the fan I can use my light switch to run the light and the fan together but I have no way to turn one of the other off so I thought I would install the remote control that came with it but when I turn the power on there's no light is it because I don't know how to program the remote control how do you program the remote control to a new directions for that for that when I put the batteries in is it supposed to just work? Thank you very much it's so nice to have a woman to watch once in awhile for if a woman can do it then another woman can do it I've already installed two. Uncle fans but I don't know why this one's giving me trouble

Each of the crystals have hanger on them and the frame has holes in the metal where you attach them. It's time consuming, but pretty easy to do. Hope that helps?
