as someone who has had 18 piercings, here’s my ranking (least to most painful):
1. lobes
2. belly button
3. helix
4. forward helix (and also industrial)
5. flat
6. nostril
7. conch
8. rook
9. daith
Ive got 16 currently in my ears -lobes, rook, forward helixes, helixes, tragus, conch, anti tragus and snug. Wanted a tragus but my anatomy isnt suitable and cant gave a daith as i wear earphones. Also had my tounge pierced. By far the most painful was the rook, then the snug, then the conch. The rest including tounge were fine, i just got a new rook and forward helix last week and they are both grumbling, which is weird as I dont normally have issues, i have a feeling the rook is gonna reject tho due to placement. Ah well lol
Yes me too…this one is more accurate…all but my forward helix..that was six to me…
@@Glesga_lassiea snug?? I heard those are the worst to heal .. how’s urs going ?? I’m still debating if I should get mine lol
@@dalenastar well I've had mines around 6 years and it still gets annoyed from time to time, especially if I sleep on it a lot lol it's been worth it though and nowhere near as bad as the left sided rook and right sided forward helix I got last week as now I can't sleep on either side 🤣 I'll never learn. If you want a snug just go for it, they are really awesome looking piercings!
Yes, my daith was my most painful so far too. I felt like I was going to pass out on the table. But I think it really depends on the individual persons cartilage in different areas. My mom and two sisters said their daiths didn’t hurt much at all.
I got a helix piercing 2 days ago... My first one- and that hurt like hell.
Heard the rook one hurts worse
For me personally, my helix did not hurt much. Neither did my rook piercing🤔🤗
my helix wasn’t bad, the rook seems a bit scarier though cause the cartilage is a bit hardee
I have an industrial piercing, 3 upper helixes, 2 lobes in each ear, a naval piercing and a tragus I had to do the 3 helixes again because I left the jewelry out for too long but all together the 3 helixes that healed and formed scar tissue hurt the most because it was thicker then it was the first time but all around none of them hurt that much for me.
Bro no way 🥲 im gonna do helix today
@@kakeguruimesho6814 Just eat something before hand you can faint because of low blood sugar and convince yourself you're excited and not scared because scared and excited are the same emotion it's adrenaline, I personally like the adrenaline rush it gives you, don't touch the piercer it can distract them and they can possibly make a mistake, And don't hold your breath, breathing helps with pain and stress. Good luck I hope it turns out beautifully!
My Daith hurt like hell literally 9/10 pain for me. Nearly passed out and the pain stayed in my jaw radiating around my teeth for over two hours. Hella worth it tho I haven't had a migraine in over 3 years since I got it!
Placebo
Oh wow!!😭
A mi ese no me dio nada de nada de nada y cicatrizó súper rápido😅
Guys, my conch hurt less than my helix did! I know it's different for everyone but my personal experience with my conch was much more pleasurable than my helix piercing. Still love them both to this day!
I agree!! my helix hurt like hell, it was throbbing for days, whereas my conch piercing didn't bother me as helix did
Personally none of the piercings I’ve gotten so far have “hurt” I just got my conch done two weeks ago and it didn’t hurt at all it was kind of crazy and I have both of my firsts helix’s done and I’m hoping to go get my seconds done soon (I have 7 piercings in total all on my ears)
Remember that it’s different for everyone guys. I have a huge pain tolerance but none of them hurt except for my rook and nips piercings. I have 18 piercings in total.
[edit] I now have 22 and I did 14 myself.
bro how
@@Kalestericqqx how, what?
18 PIERCINGS
GURL 22 AND 14
@@Kalestericqqx yes ma’am lol I’ve seen people with many more than me
I just got my helix yesterday and surprisingly it didn’t hurt
It must’ve missed the nerve, that happend to me too
Is it weird that I'm absolutely obsessed with getting all of these
No it's not weird 😅.cuz i feel the same 😂
If you're considering one of these but worried about the pain, please keep in mind everyone is different. I have a tragus, daith, and helix piercings and all of them were like 4/10 max. It was a pinch. So it's impossible to tell, and it will be over really quick if you go to a good piercer.
So apparently I went straight for the big guns with a conch as my first cartilage piercing 😂 I guess I am glad I didn’t know this going into it 😅
I just pierced my Tragus on my own yesterday. It was okay not to painful. I love the side by side!!!!
I want one sooo bad! props to you for doing it yourself lol!!
What size did you use was it needle or gun ?
Out of all of mine rook hurt most but it's thick cartilage and it goes through 2 times so keep that in mind. Not horrible but definitely felt it
Im with you on this ❤
Im getting my earlobe and helix done today wish me luck 🤧
Hope it went smoothly xx
@@michellegomes4905 it hurt for a couple days (mostly the helix) but pretty good now 👍
how is it now
Funny thing is that i felt more sting on my Lobes than my Daith and Conch. Pain is personal. The process of getting pierced shouldn’t be the concern, it’s the healing and aftercare period.
I didn’t really feel a sting on my conch, just a pressure. Honestly the sound was worse than the pain. 😳 wasn’t expecting the crunch/pop
@@Mamaroo92 the crunch on my daith startled me. It was very loud 😂
I have my conch and helix piercings, and for my helix it was really sore after I got it and for my conch I couldn’t even tell I had it in after I got it pierced, when i got them peiced I got them the same day and they felt the same my conch hurt a little more but for me my helix hurts a lot more after during the healing process
But reminder that everyone’s pain tolerance is different
I did my conch myself…. Deff one of the LEAST painful piercings, like out of my 21 piercings, I’d say lobes and conch are the EASIEST, didn’t hurt at all even during healing.
Conch was painless all the way. Daith though was sore to go in and took AGES to heal. It was never happy, had it removed after 2 years. Most painful for me was navel piercing though
My daith didn't hurt, but it has been a little tricky to heal. Conch is probably my next piercing.
guys this is pretty general idea of it. it depends on your ear shape , thickness of your cartilage and your pain tolerance so don't be scared, go get it done 🤗
The rook knocked me for sure 😮
Got my first piercings (aside from my first lobes) 2 months ago, a conch and a flat. Yep, I went straight to cartilage piercings hahaha it was so painful. Recently, I got my daith which I'd rate at a 5/10. Love it! Wasn't painful at all compared to my conch. I guess going straight to the most painful piercing does wonders for your pain tolerance haha!! 😅
I just did my helix yesterday myself and how much I'm freaking out it doesn't hurt at all😂
I’m so glad I looked under all the comments saying how the conch isn’t so bad compared to the daith piercing. I want a conch piercing and a couple at the ends of my top lobes seem cute.
I just got it today I pierced my own belly button and multiple spots on my ear getting cinch pierced was 8/10
@@zoemcguire8742 Thanks! Oh, but I could not do my own piercings. Ouch! I know some people actually don’t mind it.
The daith actually isn’t so bad. I got a helix and lobe too and while the lobe was almost completely painless (just barely stung) the helix was HELL.
I got a forward helix and conch done at the same time. It was not as painfull as i thought is was going to be. Vmdoimg breathing exercises beforehand really helps
Im 13, ive has my conch and helic done when i was 12, it didnt hurt at all❤
That looks so cute. I really love it!!💕💕
Oooh, the difference the rook has been my most painful piercing yet, and my daith didn't hurt at all. 🥴
I have two tragus, orbital, rook and conch piercing. I also have both nipples pierced. My nipples and tragus piercings are tied in pain. 10/10. My rook is my next painful piercing. The conch is the third. The rest was tolerable. None of my piercings were paineless but the pain for some was tolerable, while others required medicine and the pain was 7/10 to 10/10.
I got my first piercing session month ago before my flight. 2 earlobes and 1 helix. As a first timer the earlobes hurts for me, but helix make me cry a bit SPECIALLY WHEN THE PIERCER PUT THE JEWELRY this hurt even more. I am thibking of going back to have my 4th piercing (hidden helix or rook) and my 2nd helix.
About the pain after, it just sucks sleeping straight cuz I got my both ears done. It just hurt when it get touched or bump other than that you wouldnt notice that its there.
A daith and conch doesn’t hurt though, I got both of them pierced at the same time and they healed alright, same with the industrial which was a little harder to heal but didn’t hurt
What about industrial piercings??🌸💜
Just did two helixes today and thinking of getting a conch in about 1-2 weeks
For my (ive not had many) in order of least to most painful its
Helix (did not feel it what so ever1/10)
Septum (felt more like pressure than pain 3/10)
Lobes (hurt about a 3 or 4/10)
Love my conch and rook. Definitely the most painless and easily cared for piercings but my helix😰… hurt like heck and has taken over a year to heal.
My conch is kinda kicking up a storm 😊
My conch and tragus piercings were about the same as my lobe piercings. I got my cartilage done and nearly tapped out. And now I want a triple forward helix. Why am I like this? 😅
I just got my daith piercing today. It wasn't painful @ all. But I am worried about the aftercare. Getting it was this awkward crunch. That's it!
That ear set looks absolutely beautiful 😍
I recently got my helix piercing in both ears and It was quite painful I would say since I have no pain tolerance .
I really want to get a helix piercing but idk if i should cause I’ve seen many scary videos about it being infected and stuff. Also I can’t go to a piercing place so I have to go to this place which says they don’t use a gun but it’s really piercing with the back of the earring so pls can someone tell me if that’s still bad
I somehow feel piercing it with the kit less painful. I did my conch, and it didn't gurt atvall, until it got irritated by my earbud. THAN i had to take painkillers because it was swelling. I shouldn't have done it on a freshly pierced one.
I'll be the outlier and the worse part for me was my daith and rook. The tragus and conch didn't hurt. My worst overall was my septum which I had done back to back since it came out crooked the first time. I had it done years ago and it was at the wrong spot and it hurt too.
I’m getting my middle helix done in a couple of days and I’m so scared can someone explain the pain!? I’m also getting my upper lobe but I got my lower lobe and it didn’t hurt so I’m sure that’ll be fine.
I got my conch done and it doesn’t hurt at all
My first helix is so bad but my second one is not hurt that bad at all I just feel a pinch and that it
It’s different for everyone since pain tolerance differs. My conch hurt a lot less than I expected it to. Id give it a 4/10 for pain tolerance
Got my daith and it wasn't that bad? Like migraines are far worse. Like a 7sharp pain?
does the industrial hurt?
I want a helix, and was wondering how painful it was. Thanks for this :D
Edit: I got it done abt 2 weeks ago
It sucks to sleep on and can take a while to fully heal
It’s different for everyone. My Rook hurt like 10 times as much as getting my helix.
The helix doesn’t hurt that bad at all. It’s like a really hard pinch and the pain lasts only for 2 seconds. After an hour you will feel this strong pressure that can make you feel a little uncomfortable. That lasts only a few minutes. Other than that, it doesn’t hurt at all.
@@sincerelysof Ty’s, for that!
it’s really not so bad i just got a double helix piercing, i mean it hurts but it doesn’t last long. although i feel like this video isn’t accurate cuz my helix hurt just as much as conch
Yeah I think this is one of those it's different for everyone situation. My helix hurt so much after getting it done and for a long time but my daith didn't hurt at all, even if I pulled it, it was just a dull uncomfortable ache and that's it!
Im healing from helix piercings right now and boy do i wish id gone for the the highest lobe spot instead. My hair keeps getting caught in the helix stud >.< it does look cool as heck tho, so thats my consolation
Mine don’t hurt that much I’m 17 and I have good pain tolerance or maybe we can say it also depends on the person who does your piercings like look i got my ear pierced when i was 16 it hurts like hell and also blood came out while he did that and then they got infected and then i went to someone else this time to get my piercings at the same spot and trust me it didn’t hurt not even a bit he just did that in 1 sec I thought he was still finding a spot but the piercings we already inserted it was almost painless so make sure to ask for advice from people who already have some piercings and go to some trust worthy and popular people to get your piercings done now i’m 18 and i have 17 piercings in total and i went to that particular person only who did the rest to get all of em done i can literally get 4 piercings in a day and 7 in a month bcz he’s doing this job from a long time and can do much better than others 😊
Yea all around I have 11 piercings at the moment I never really had eny trouble with them and they didn't really hurt but I'm getting more later so we'll see.
My conch was not that bad. I really want a tragus now
I just had a double conch this morning and I can confirm... hurt way more than my double forward helix, helixes and lobes. Can't speak for other piercings though 😂
What song is this?
the ones i have:
3 lobes: third hurt a bit more the rest barely hurt
helix: wasn’t that painful just lots of swelling
conch: so khara almost fainted when i put the earring in
This is completely subjective. My conch and helix hurt the most. My lobes I didn’t even feel and my tragus and rook were absolutely fine. It depend who’s piercing it and how you’re feeling on the day.
Ear piercings don't hurt that much, doesn't matter which ones, and I'm saying it as someone who used to have 10 in each ear in highschool.earlobes don't hurt at all and helix is maybe a 1/10, kind if like twisting your ankle. And I say it as someone with a very low pain tolerance. Tragus doesn't actually hurt more than helix, the initials pain just lasts longer so it seems worse 😅
My industrial hurt like hell. I've never had something hurt that bad
Helixes weren’t too bad, daiths about a 5/10. The worst? The one stacked lobe I have. Nearly passed out!
Loving it
I have a medium pain tolerance, but I’m a pussy when it comes to piercings, and my helix “hurt” but it was like, pleasurable pain, and it was extremely bearable, and after it was done I wanted to feel it again.
Conch is a solid 8/10....Daith 7/10
22 piercings and a professional body piercer, this is how i would rank
1. lobes (3 each side)
2. tragus
3. belly
4. eyebrow
5. helix
6. conch
7. nose
8. septum
9. smiley
10. flat
11. rook
12. anti tragus
13. bridge
14. lower lip (side)
15. medusa
16. nipples
my ranking, from the piercings i have/had:
lobes: 1/10, literally forgot i did them later in the day i got them. little to no pain at all.
nose: 4/10, it hurts like hell the day-of but afterwards the healing is easy.
helix: 5/10, barely hurt the day of but the healing hurts like hell, especially when done on both sides 😅 i’ve had them for a year and one side still gets irritated despite being healed.
conch: 4/10: hurt the day or two after, but doesn’t hurt much (as long as it doesn’t catch on anything)
navel: 6/10 the piercing itself is fine, the healing process for this is hell.
People with low pain tolérance pls can we have your testimony?
I screamed with my forward helix
Me: "i want them all!"
I doo rook because its traditional in our cultural ## kashmiri ❤❤❤
I did my own conch at home😂😂
Im scared for my second ear piercing. OMG.
My rook hurts wayyy more than my helix which felt like a lobe piercing
Different for everyone. My loves hurt more than my nose and my helix. Yes believe it or not. My conch didn’t bother me one single bit. It really is different for everyone.
Paul miramas ce frumoase sunt pircingurile❤❤❤❤💙💙💜💙🤍🤍
My conch didn’t hurt at all and my daith was less painful than my fourth lobes 😅
HELIX fa meno male del trago ? Faccio domani 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂❤
Idk how the helix piercing is like 3 because my sister got it right and she broke her finger and said that the piercing was worse than her broken finger
Nah man the helixes hurt like HELL and the tragus didn’t hurt like at all. Even during healing. They are a 1, the lobes hurt so much more than the tragus
What’s the song?
yupp
When I got my Conch and Daith done in the same session I didn't even flinch or anything
I felt the daith but was like: oh it's over already? Lol
Didn't even feel the conch happening rly xD
So ye, different for everyone :')
Just some important Tips - (1) make sure to never rotate or touch your piercings atlest for 6 months 😊 they’ll heal on their own within 2 weeks if you won’t touch them not even a bit touching them increase the chances of getting infected I’m 18 and have 17 piercings so I’m talking from the experience 😊
(2) don’t remove your piercings keep then atlest for a year or more 😊
(3) use really cold water to clean them like just use water on them multiple time so they’ll get cleaned and you don’t have to touch them
(4) make sure to get silver not silver shade actual silver piercings 😅 they decrease the chances of infection
Just follow these after care tips and done you have nice clean and not infected piercings 😊
I didn’t feel my conch piercing at all!
the way that my rook almost made me pass out…
Helix and conch..no Problem…but the daith holymoly, i almost cried, left and right same Kind of pain
Umm the rook is known as one of the most painful piercings.... my conch was like a 2, and the rook was 5. And that is what every person I've talked to says as well.
Helix doesn’t hurt at all I didn’t even feel it
Funny cause my earlobes did hurt more than my rook and daith . I'm weird I guess.
Same for me. I have a rook, conch, tragus, helix and nip piercings. And none of them hurt as much as my third lobe piercing 😅
Yeah its all wrong (from my experience) i have multipole lobes, helix, conch and rock
Lobes are super easy both the moment you get it and the healing is just a couple of month
Helix hurt me the least out of all my piercing again super easy since its cartilage its healing is harder than lobe but still super easy just make sure to clean it overoll 2.5/10
Conch just like helix maybe a bit more painful but still nothing too bad like 4/10
Rock for me was like 3/10 its still isnt fully healed (i got it a few month ago) but it seems great so far i will say the healing for both my helix and conch were better
In conclusion if you want a piercing just get it its really not that bad and even if it is to you its one time and than you got it for the rest of your life just please clean your piercings
Hope that helped
lol I have nine ear piercing
and that rook hurt more than the other ones combined
my daith hurt nothing, just the recovery/healing is a bit uncomfortable but alright
It's mostly when I lose my Earrings, my parents yell at me
Fuck now Im scared to get a conch piercing and a double helix 😅
Que lindo queria fura anual orea asim
my helix was so pain free for me ido
My helix was left a 0/10 pain wise
Rook hurt WAY more than my conch did
Innacurate, i have all these apart from the daith and the rook was by far the worst
My conch did not hurt at all….
Everyone experiences pain differently. I got a Conch and a Helix on the same day and for me the Helix hurt more than the Conch. A few weeks later my best friend did the same and she almost felt nothing when she got the Helix but freaked out when she got the Conch. Videos about people raiting the pain of piercings are just irrelevant I mean there’s an needle going through you’re skin what do you expect?
I can’t see the name of #2
it's rook
