I join Navigraph and Mr. Seth Riklin in his Cirrus SF-50 G2 Vision Jet from Houston Ellington Airport (KEFD) to Houston Executive (KTME). Andy and Jens provide snacks as we fly low IFR on a 35-minute flight across the massive city of Houston, Texas. This flight occurred at FSExpo 2023 where the aircraft was on display. Recorded in-game on VATSIM.

The voice synthesis needs some work. Dunno why they don't provide an option to disable wind noise on the small talk, especially post-flight. I also haven't found the toggle for in-flight snacks.

That was really cool! They nailed the sounds in this plane, really impressive. Excellent format for a video, the only downside is that seeing the side-by-side with the real-life flight is that it shatters the realism of the sim (which without the side-by-side is utterly convincing!)

This was a perfect re-creation of that flight you took, except, just to let you know, you’re supposed to take out the red things that say “Remove Before Flight” 😂
Man, thanks for reminding me of how it was flying in to Houston Executive in 2019. Was in a CJ1 when we flew in, always great when you can taxi right up to your rental car.

Anyone else starting to miss the mass chaos of fsx steam edition and the starting vids from flight sim 2020? I miss the days of jets taking off vertically and the constant buzzing of tower and heck I'm starting to miss the casual squeakers. Even the random joining of randon peoples cockpits acting as their instructor. Now it feels that the people care so much about the realism they forgot that it's supposed to be fun as well.... there is a reason fsx was downloaded so much.... it was so much more fun.
Yeah these new videos are extremely boring in comparison.

Funny story. I fly a ton for work and recently went down your rabbit hole and learned a ton on flight planning and radio operation and transmission from your videos. I got into a conversation about it with a man I met in Hawaii last week about it and how cool it is to understand the cockpit processes. I told him about the slip we had from the tradewinds on our approach into Maui as well.
He later discloses that he is a pilot for Alaska moving to Delta and said how I was super knowledgeable about it. I was super embarrassed finding out how I was rambling on and he was a pilot. lol
Did all my private pilot training with TSU at ellington Airfield. 8 weeks airforce program absolutely loved that place.
Is that the same jet that has the parachute that can pop out in an emergency? It's almost like a car inside. Really cool plane.

This is crazy to see because I am taking flight lessons on a cirrus sr20 at ktme and was there and saw the blue jet as I was taxing out. I never thought you would be the one that flew in it! I have been a long time subscriber and very cool to see a video at my home airport. Keep up the great work!

I usually do this the other way around. I first simulate the flight and then fly it in RL next day. I do this in order to get familiar with the airport I haven't yet visited and its procedures. Awesome video!

I love the giant screens n the Cirrus, it actually looks like something really modern. Looks like a really nice plane.
It is a nice plane, but when compared to similar size turbo props, it falls short. The only advantage I see is the BRS system and even that costs weight and compromises glide ratio.
The back and forth cuts between IRL and gameplay is a really noce editing decision
