There's a story about a fan telling the great Larry Carleton how great his ES-335 sounds during a break. Larry points to the guitar sitting in its stand and says "hows it sound now?". I'm from Duke's home town. I've been watching him play live since about 1988 starting @ the Firehouse cafe. He's ALWAYS sounded awesome. It's not the guitar or the amp or the pedal or the....etc. It's the Duke. Incerdible talent and a genuinely good guy. So happy to see the success he has achieved and that he has the ability through platforms like this to reach so many. Well deserved, Duke, and thanks for all the magic!
Duke is "the man"... never disapoints ...ever!
The best part was that this was the only time they ever sang during the show 😄
Epic guitar work and tone as per usual by Duke and the ensemble is blazing too with that infectious, groovy drumming
Amazing take on a song that deserves wider appreciation.
This tone is just unreal. Please tell me there's an album of these covers coming up.
Thank you! Maybe later this year...
It will be on my wish list.
I agree! An album of this material is definitely in order!
Great anthem!
The reharmonization, the building of excitement...so good. Really wanted to hear it all. If there's an album coming, put me down for one.
Very nice, Duke...Great cellar...Peace, Bro
Great band=Nice feel,got to be Boston..........Duke...
💕
So good! Superb tone and playing! I hope you don`t mind me asking, what are you playing through in this video? Thanks!
Thanks! - Amp is a '63 AC30
Thanks!@@dukelevine6995
@@Aadalmusic Also, forgot to mention - Mad Professor Sweet Honey Overdrive & Deep Blue Delay.
@@dukelevine6995 Desert Island amp (assuming 'lectricity) for sure, but that's one wonderful throaty Tele!
Why is there always "1 dislike"? Duke must've hurt somebody's feelings.
Aside from your fingers which I know is the best part of your tone, what amp are you plugged into to?
This is a '63 AC 30.
@@dukelevine6995 Thanks! And that's some fine playing there sir!
