I've got one of these in black. This blue is the best colour though, I'd say. I've had the car nearly 4 years now and absolutely love it. It's been totally reliable so far. I enjoy the rarity of it. Nobody knows what it is....other than a passat. That suits me. Recommended! ( if you can find one)
Brother do you now what type of exhaust on it?
@@q8kingo358 still got it! It's an Italian made cat back stainless system by supersprint. It's a good exhaust but way overpriced. I wanted a miltek for about a grand but they don't make them. I had trouble finding one anywhere, which Is why I ended up paying over 2k. Luckily, not much else has needed done.

Screw vw for discontinuing this car this is a legendary car
Dieselgate and the tougher emission rules had a lot of effect on this sadly. The VR6 is a pretty polluting engine and it would take a lot of money to improve it which vw obviously doesnt wanna spend and it would likely mean it would no longer be naturally aspirated...

Got the bws engine From r36 in My b7 passat 4 motion, great performance,powerfull engine and sound is amazing
B7 passat didn't came with a 4 motion version ✌🏼

@@EastsideBVC The B7 had 4Motion options for the 2.0 TDI CR and 3.6 FSI VR6 engines. The 2.0 TDI 4mo was only offered in Europe.

my 3.2 vr6 has the same squeeky noise when I start up, We tried everything to find this but it still has this and its not the starter

I just purchased the Blue Passat R36 (166.000 kilometres on the clock) from my taxi owner. I have an old dirty Ford Falcon Station with dull white, scratches and dents but taking me from A to B in acceptable comfort and reliable. I hope I won't miss the Falcon's large cargo space. However from 2008 his R36 looks like from the showroom and I could not let go on this deal. I sure hope the Passat will be as reliable as my Falcon because I still need to go from A to B. Friday he will take my Falcon and I will take his Passat. I have never owned a VW before. However I am much more a (model)train lover rather than a car lover. See how we go, Cheers, Jan, Australia.

It was done by a company where you send off the lights then you need to code them in

So are these 3.6 liter petrol engines V6 or VR6 engines? ive seen them called both.

18" rims??? I'm trying to decide weather to buy 18s or 19s. I'm worried about weight but I wanna fill the wheel gaps with it lowered.
When you have 300 hp and 3.2 liter under the hood you should not be worried about weight!!

What an era. Volkswagen used to make some really nice sedans to compete against the luxury euro market. I miss the days when Volkswagen would step in to Audi territory with the Passat and Touareg.

so beautifull and sounds so good, too bad it's not faster then it is, the sound dont match the go imo. same goes for the r32, i have that engine but tuned the shit out of it, wanted to keep it N/A, costed me a shitload of money but now its decent fast tho.

Same here... spent a hefty amount to make decent power n/a for my mkiv r32.... thought about boosting it but Hawai’i doesn’t even have long stretches of road.

Has the car caused you any problems or been unreliable? Been looking at a 2010 3.6 vw cc. Just heard a few things about dsg and timing chain.
Nialsy999 dsg gave me some trouble needed a new mech unit

@@falunrod been looking at 2010 cc. Immaculate with just 40k miles and full service history, but had 4 owners. So I am thinking it's either fooked, or dsg is fooked, or a complete and utter gas guzzler.
