Me too. The wifes had an r32 for about 12 years and we liked it so much, i tracked down an r36 for myself. Best stable weve ever had, methinks. Her brother has just bought the golf but im not parting with the passat, because it ticks nearly every box for me.

Why wouldn't VW bring back that wonderful VR6 engine, at least as a option. I really don't like the four bangers all that farting noises give it a rest. How I miss my MK4 R32 🥺

My 08 VW Passat VR6 Wagon is definitely letdown by its slow Tiptronic transmission. I own a 2016 GSW as well but the Tiptronic is fine in that car.
