    I like the slight break up sound of the Roswell's as well as the clean pure sound of the Oripure's .......decisions.🤔

    Not noticing a huge difference in the neck pickup, but the bridge upgrade definitely adds a lot more clarity and depth.

    I don't 'hear' a big difference with the pick-ups as the new ones just sound a bit darker and less crispy. . I like the Roswell's. The original tuners are pure crap. So I'll change these and maybe the nut. For the rest even unshielded my TE-52 makes less noise than my Fender Strat MIJ !

      neck bridge is better low end, more balanced in oripure and darked like a neck pick up, and bridge pickup is less crispy because is a hot rail pickup that its like a humbucker

      same my TE52 makes less noise than my fender tele player. however the real downside is the neck pickup in HB, very dull. the bridge pickup is amazingly good although there is a lack of dynamic and presence in the bass."

    bought a few modding Tele's in recent months...putting in Fralin, Lollars, McNelley....and to be honest, the Rosewell's are quite decent....better than the decent-enough Squier CV50 pups. Waiting on a set of Bootstrap Palo Duro to drop in my new TE-52.

    Did you buy a new pick guard or just paint it? I was thinking of buying a pickguard but don’t know if it’s shaped different. Would be ok if I only had to drill a couple holes and not all 8 or whatever it is.

    Ciao Leo, ma questa chitarra ce l'hai ancora? da quello che ho potuto ascoltare, la differenza fra i due pick-up c'è, ma gli Oripure da quello che si sente su YT non ammazzano i Roswell, ma mi sento di aggiungere che gli oripure sicuramente impastano meno.....infatti i Roswell quando hai suonato Jimy Hendrix risultavano perfetti ; )

    ...and so all these upgrades sums up to the cost of a Fender player Teler?

    • @Leodileoguitar
      @Leodileoguitar  2 роки тому +1

      Hi, I think the cost of all the materials included does not exceed 250 euros (bridge, pickguard, tuners the owner of this guitar ordered separately, so I don't know exactly how much they cost) so 159 + 250 = 309 euros, less of a Squier CV but with more quality of materials (remember that the CV has the body in Nato while the Te52 is in Swamp Ash) and top electronics, with the modernity of the 14 "radius that certainly makes it more versatile than a canonical Tele. The owner of this guitar was very satisfied with the result and is always telling me that now the Te52 has reached the sound and quality levels of an American Fender (which he owns).

    • @georgemacdonald3087
      @georgemacdonald3087 7 місяців тому

      @@Leodileoguitar it is not Swamp Ash, it is Northern American Ash which is a denser, heavier wood. hence the frequent comments of "too heavy" Average being 4.5kg.

      14" radius is not necessarily more versatile. Flatter is ok for leads but worse for chording.
