Surprised there aren't more likes on the video, it is a really good comparison without any unnecessary commentary. I was interested in the HB, but in this video the tonality of the Squire sounds much better to my ear. Comment section is also useful, I had no idea the shipping costs overseas would drive up the low sticker price so much on the HB, which let's be honest, is most of its appeal.
Ciao, grazie moltissimo per il tuo tempo dedicato alla comparazione. Ottimo sound. Preferisco la hearly benton, la qualità dei legni e pickup è, superiore poù corposa. La bullet è +piatta. Good video Sir ,the Bullet eecked out the win but if you throw a set of Tone Rider TRT2 hot classic pups @$100.00 in that Harley Benton the Bullet will turn into an expensive dust catcher.
Bullet is a no brainier in the states. There is only a $30 dfference when you include the shipping cost of the HB. Get the Squire at a local shop and use the extra $30 for new strings and two full sized pots.
That's exactly what I did the first day I received it... I put two 500k pot CTS, a new vintage PIO condenser and fresh new strings... Now it sounds really good...!
@@AlainChatignon Yes. The Squier PUs are usually on the thinner side. Especially with the entry stage. Replacing them is the first thing next to the tuners. I did this quite some times for customers. Squier : tuners, PUs, pots and harness. Harley Benton : pots and harness, sometimes PUs.
Thanks for listening and for your comment, for me is quite the opposite, I think squier is more precise, HB is almost all mid frequencies and less dinamic, less comfortably neck and much more weight.
Cant helpme please ? What thing about HB té -20? Honest i thing is good for me I play guitar only moments for my family ? Can you help? Thanks Blessing
The comparison was, perhaps, a little unfair because HB was equipped with 0.10 gauge strings while the Squier with 0.09 of different brand, in any case HB is a great guitar.
The Squier was modified with 500k pots and a vintage PIO (paper in oil) condenser, and the string gauges were different: 0.09 for the Squier, 0.10 for the HB.
The playability oh the HB is excellent and, in my opinion, the pickups are absolutely decent, the only flaw of the guitar is its really excessive weight, I much prefer the Squier bullet...!

HB has a better tele twang to my ears. I have only been playing guitar 55 years.
The fact that the mere name on the headstock is important tells all. HB is definitely changing the guitar industry.
Harley Benton wins
In my opinion squier wins... 😉
I like the bullet more. Surprisingly
I much prefer the bullet too! Thanks for listening!
"Look at dem yo-yos, dat's da way you do it!.....
👍👍👍🎸🎸🎸
Harley Benton sounds better in the mix, more readable, more mids. The squier has more overtones
Almost too much mids for my taste...
Harley benton is definitely better

Squier without any doubt.
Totally agree with you!
@@giuliocatGC Still, I bought a HB TE-62cc in Lake Placid Blue. Awaiting delivery ;-)

I like my Squire Bullet better than HB plus their outrageous shipping price!
Phillip Holt, totally agree with you!!! I much prefer the FSR Squier Bullet telecaster olympic white!!!
@@giuliocatGC I have the Red and HB has never impressed ME on any of their guitars.
@@phillipholt6005 I wasn't impressed too...
@@giuliocatGC You have a beautiful 🎸 guitar.
@@giuliocatGC Never mod it or get rid of it. If you mod it yo3 will take it out of its realm.
Very good test thank you. HB seems more precise
More precise and deeper. Thanks to the ash body, i guess.
@@gluteusmaximus1657 Yes I think the ash body has something to do with it but I also have the impression that the Roswell pickups are more precise?

I'll take my Bullet any day over HB.

I have not tried the TE-20 but the TE-52 is a great guitar and has excellent quality/price ratio.
Greetings from Italy
What's the name of the song at 4:55 ?
Atlantis (The Shadows) - Mark Knopfler version
HB very twangy sound But Squier cleaner sound
Harley Benton just sounds way better and more like a fender
The comparison was, perhaps, a little unfair because HB was equipped with 0.10 gauge strings while the Squier with 0.09 of different brand, in any case HB is a great guitar.
@@giuliocatGC gauge doesnt effect tone much at all

The HB sounds better to me personally. it even looks better to me too.
What is the title of the first song did you play in the video bro?
The house of the rising sun (The Animals)
Great video!
Did you just unboxed and tested, or something been modiffied?
The Squier was modified with 500k pots and a vintage PIO (paper in oil) condenser, and the string gauges were different: 0.09 for the Squier, 0.10 for the HB.
what's the second song? I feel stupid..
Money For Nothing you stupid.. just kidding, can happen to all of us, now you know ;)
Money for nothing - Dire Straits!
Gotta go with HB tele!!
Not fair as maple v rosewood or simelar
I want to know about playability, Pu's can be changed, can you give us your opinion?
The playability oh the HB is excellent and, in my opinion, the pickups are absolutely decent, the only flaw of the guitar is its really excessive weight, I much prefer the Squier bullet...!
Maple vs Rosewood (or other dark) fretboard wood? No wonder the guitars sound different...
HB wins
I have 2 Squiers but the HB wins here
Harley benton sounds better. Bullet sound like toy
In this test they had different string gauge: 0.10 for the HB, 0.09 for the Squier... This could be the reason...
@@giuliocatGCin my opinion this test isn't worth anything because of different strings.
I just dont like HB's headstock so Squier wins easily. Lol
Agree with you!
yeah, cause you can hear the headstock -- geez
I like the HB headstock more than Fender / Squier. 😄 I think i have to try a HB TE 62 DB 😀
