Thank you for being a gracious mentor and source of information. I use the process you've outlined, and the CPS. My MVs, SDs and precision is amazingly consistent - as long as my marksmanship fundamentals stay consistent.
Wow, I'll take that twice on Sundays! Great shooting and the Rifleman behind the rifle is fantastic. That "Automatic bolt work reload" is a work of Art. So much so a certain Federal Agency might make you have to buy a stamp to register it.
I am about to find out. I have 121 pieces of brass. I did load development, zeroed with a 20 round group, and connected dead center first shot at 1100. Plinked the rest at 1100 and a mile. I just reloaded them all and see what happens. The only things I have identified between your methods and fclass\benchrest youtubers is more interference fit, do load development with 10 pieces, and discard brass not subjected to the same variables. Might be something I am forgetting. I tend to take your advice over others, because 1100 yards cold bore only counts on a prairie dog!
very consistent! What size are your dots at 100 yards? What caliber were you shooting?
.22cal. 1/2” dots. Pretty average performance I’d say.
I've never looked much into 22bra. What kind of velocity could one expect with 77's out of a 24" barrel ?
@SixOFord 3100fps pretty easy
@primalrights not too shabby. I've wanted another 22 centerline since I smoked my 22-250 years ago. Been on a 6mm kick since then. This may get me back to 22. You sell reamers ?
